THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA

PREAMBLE

WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens:

     JUSTICE, social, economic and political;

     LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;

     EQUALITY of status and of opportunity; and to promote among them all

FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the nation;

IN OUR CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY this twenty-sixth day of November 1949, do HEREBY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION.

  India, a blessing of Mother Nature. If you want to enjoy mountain views, the northern Himalayas welcome you.  If the roar of the sea pours honey into your ears, then the huge waters around the three sides of this country await you.  The river flows like mother's necklace.  Sometimes the gray wilderness of the desert, somewhere green fields full of golden crops.  As if this country is a real world dream land. And the cultures? It needs a book to describe it's variety!

    This prosperous country has been attacked for ages.  Aryans, Turks, Mongols, Pathans — this country has witnessed the raids of many races.  India has been colonized by the English through the rise and fall of power.  190 years of bloody  struggle has claimed thousands of fresh lives.  But the promise of independence remained intact.

On August 15, 1947, Indians saw the first sunrise of independent India, standing on the blood-soaked ground of many famous and unknown heroes.

While leaving India that day, the British said that India should bring them back because Indians cannot run the country.But by pouring water on their hope, India has made itself a sovereign state.

     75 years.  Almost the entire life span of a human being.  A lot of water has flowed through the Ganges over the years.

In 1950, the Constitution of India came into force.  In 1952 the first election was held.A new path for India begins.

No, that path did not go over the flower, it went over the thorn.
India has witnessed many political upheavals, economic problems, riots and many more.People of India have seen war too.Recently, India was reeling under the shock of Covid 19.

But no obstacle could withstand the willpower of the Indian people.
Today, in the morning of 75th independence day, India has reached the sky of success.

We pay hundreds of respects to the many martyrs whose self-sacrifice help us to take birth in this
independent India.

Nazrul Islam once said—"Amra Shokti, Amra bol, Amra chatrodol; mother payer tolay murche tufan, urdhe biman jhor badol." (We are the power, we are the strength, we are students; Under our feet, the storm is raging, the airplane is in stormy clouds above.)

Sacrifice of martyrs has shown us the way to get freedom.  And independence is maintained by the youth and students of independent India.
