Anayah moved back immediately, her eyes wide as she stared at Renar, then turned to see Ronné, Brad and Dylan looking at them with awkward looks on.

"Sorry. Was an accident." She started walking away.

He got up quickly, chasing after her.

"I'm sorry. It was my fault." He got hold of her arm.

"It's alright. Forget about it." She faced him, forcing not to look into his eyes.

He smiled, noticing that she was shy. He licked his lower lip, staring at her lips. She stared at his as well.

"Vanilla?" He smirked.

"Your favorite, I know." She blushed.

"I want more. It's so delicious." He pulled her closer but she backed away slowly.

"Got to go. We'll talk later."

He watched her walk away, admiring her every feature.

"Gosh I miss her so much." He sighed and walked back to the table.

Ronné walked up to Christian, who was still at his table, meaning he witnessed the accidental kiss. The look on his face showed that he didn't like it at all.

"Stay away from my best friend. Don't force me to tell her the scum you really are."

"For the hundredth time, I'm sorry Ron-"

"Save it for the judge. Just stay away from her. You're nothing but trouble." She looked at him with disgust and walked away.

"Sheesh. Couldn't she take a simple joke? I did say I was sorry." He rolled his eyes.

Analeigh walked the doctor out. He was done checking on Anayah.
She slowly closed the door and walked up to Anayah's room.

Anayah had told her everything that happened on campus before the doctor arrived.

"Oh my... I'm sure Renar planned that." Analeigh laughed, "He's totally capable."

"I know. He's just so... Ugh!" Anayah hit her pillow, "It was so awkward. You should have seen my face."

"But be honest Anayah, you wanted to kiss him again when he said he wanted more." Analeigh smirked.

"What? No. I didn't. Honest." She brushed her hair back.

Analeigh looked at her for a couple of seconds with squinted eyes, "Sure. If you say so chica."

"Sí." Anayah laughed.

"Well that Christian guy sounds sexy." Analeigh got comfy on Anayah's bed and looked up at her with a lopsided grin.

"He is. Really."

"Ayyyy, so will you go to that pool party Ronné talked about?"

"Maybe. I've gotta catch up on my studies."

"Yahh. You've missed a lot." She sighed, "I hear Kathy's on community service for a year or so."

"What? Why community service? She should be in jail." Anayah frowned, "What about Sergio? And how do you know?"

"I eavesdropped on mom and dad." She giggled, "Sergio's on the same communal labor thingy... It's funny. I'm gonna take all our trash and dump it at where they work every single day."

Anayah smiled, "I'll come with. I just gotta get a truck to add all my school's trash as well."

Analeigh laughed, "Just hope no one sees us."

"They sure won't. Haven't you heard of these?" Anayah got up from her bed, opened her drawer, pulled out three plastic faces and held them up.

"Oh my goodness!" Analeigh laughed out loud, "So that's the level you've reached. Why three though?"

"In case I get caught with one face, or it gets seen on the city cameras. Besides, I didn't know which face suits my color best. Imagine... A really white face with a tanned neck. Circus freak alert."

"So wear a turtle neck." Analeigh laughed some more, "It's good though, they'll never suspect you would go that far." She sat up to try one on.

"Analeigh!" Ashley called out from the kitchen.

"Mama?" She yelled back.

"Someone's at the door. Come check who it is."

"Okay mama!" She looked at Anayah, "You're lucky you're not a hundred percent fit."

"Hurry... I heard the bell this time." Anayah laughed at her.

"You're so annoying." She threw a pillow at Anayah's face and left her room.

Just as she reached the end of the stairs her mother called out, "Remember Analeigh, if it's for your sister, tell them they should leave. She's resting."

"Yes mama. I got it." She pulled her hair behind her ear and opened the door.

"Analeigh..." He smiled when he laid eyes on her.

She lost her ability to speak the moment she was faced with him. The one who took her breath away by just looking at her. The one who made her lose her mind when ever he was around. The one who made her betray her own friend. The guy who deflowered her and called off his wedding to be with her. But disappeared after his father disowned him.

Kathy's big brother. The cause of all Kathy's hatred for her.

What was he doing at her doorstep? How did he know where she lived?

"Reuben..." She found her voice.

"Analeigh? Who's at the door?" Ashley asked, coming out to check who it was.

Analeigh froze. She couldn't let her mother see him. Her mother would dislike him more than she disliked both Renar and Dylan combined.

"Oh my gosh..." She breathed out, eyes wide open as she stared at him and then at her mother, who was wiping her hand with a towel and walking towards her.
