In 2015, Eric Manu, a landscape gardener from Langley, British Columbia, Canada, learned that he was to be crowned king of a 6,000- person tribe in southern Ghana. His uncle was king of the Akan tribe until his death in 2013, and Eric was eventually chosen as his successor.
