Chapter Twelve

 *Your P.O.V.*

I stumbled a bit as I was pushed out of the house by Tsukishima.

"Wait, bye guys- OW!"

"Just keep going, we need to get Tadashi home," Tsukishima said.

"No, I am really fine," Tadashi said, wobbly.

"You obviously aren't, and we are never doing anything like that again," Tsukishima sighed. "So, next time you'll have to find someone else to walk you home," he said, glaring at me.

I was a little tipsy, but I wasn't drunk anymore. I had once last drink an hour ago and started to sober up, knowing that I'd have to be home soon. Tadashi, however, was not well. I don't even think that he has ever had alcohol before tonight.

"And you," Tsukishima narrowed his eyes at Tadashi. "What were you thinking? Where were you all night?"

Tadashi glanced to me for a moment, and we both broke into a laugh.

"I think we made mom mad," I commented, making Tadashi laugh even more.

Tsukishima let out a grumble, "Next time I'm just leaving, and you'll be on your own."

"Oh no," Tadashi mocked.

Tsukishima rolled his eyes in response as we were arrived to the front of Tadashi's house, "Just get inside, and don't wake your parents up. I am never doing this again."

"No one asked you to," Tadashi told him, stumbling towards his home. "Goodnight, (Y/N). Don't be too mean, Tsukki."

I couldn't help but giggle a bit at Tadashi's boldness. He seemed to be doing much better than when I first found him.

Tsukishima let out a sigh, "Let's go. I want to go home."

I nodded, following after him. "Thank you for taking us home."

"Don't say anything about it. I needed to get Tadashi home, so it would only make sense that you came with," Tsukishima said.

"You still didn't need to. I stopped drinking a while ago, and I am feeling fine now," I told him.

"Did I ask?" he grumbled, not bothering to look at me.

I couldn't help but smile at myself for a minute. Meeting him the first day, I wouldn't have picked him to be the type to almost care. He obviously cared about Tadashi, but despite his harsh attitude, I was starting to think that he might almost care about me.

"And I do not care how intoxicated you get, do not hug me like that in front of everyone again," he scolded me.

"Why didn't you drink?" I asked him.

"As if you'd catch me drinking anything that turned me into one of you idiots. I can't believe they got Tadashi to do it...it's no surprise coming from you," he muttered.

"If I'm one of this idiots, then why did you take me home?" I questioned.

His eyes narrowed at he looked at me. He didn't say anything right away. I wasn't sure if he was going to say anything at all, and we were about to approach my house. If I was going to say anything, it would have to be now.

"Tsukki, sometimes I think you might like me...keep being this nice, and I'll only have to assume so," I stated as we stood in front of my gate.

Tsukishima furrowed his eyebrows and glared back down at me. "Don't be an idiot."

I could only smile to myself, "whatever you say. Thank you for walking me home. Goodnight."

He didn't respond, but I could feel his eyes glued to me as I went inside. For once, though, his gaze wasn't burning into me, which was something we both knew.
