When the earth was created, angels were sent down from heaven to create life and balance. Order was the first law of heaven and that could only happen with co-existence.

These beings had powers - abilities to manipulate their respective elements. A higher power sent them two-by-two, to establish a balance between opposing elements. They created a way for the earth to be inhabited and organized the Council of the Primal Origins to facilitate the work. Once finished, they returned to their homes above the clouds and watched as the planet revolved around a source of light and life.

For thousands of years the earth sustained enumerable lives as the elements obeyed one another. Humans learned to appreciate nature and care for what they were given. After time, they forgot. They lost sight of everything around them and allowed the surface to be destroyed.

But the earth, scorched by fire, wanted nothing more than to live and breathe again. Angels were sent down to reclaim but in the bodies of unseeming children. During the creation, they knew their purpose. This time, they had to find it. This time, they had to learn the importance of opposition in all things.
