After the quarterfinals, now it's time for the semifinals. Inazuma Japan has gotten even stronger since they able to beat Great Marlin's absolute defense hissatsu tactics.

In the Black Room...

The whole team are practicing with the fitting area that fit to raise their abilities. They keep on practicing in order to win the Asia prelims. Kaminari, Kai and Tsukasa are riding the board while moving through the river as they jumped to kick the ball and land back on the board but Kai fall into the water. Haruki, Isamu and Suiryuu are dribbling the ball while dodging the steel beams that fall from the air. Homura and Nanae are running through the sand. Kiba and Kotaro are running away from falling off the bridge. And Kirishima is blocking the ball in the desert area. After the practice, the holographic area disappear as they all panting in tiredness.

Kaminari: *panting* The practice get harder and harder, but that is what it should be...

Kirishima: Stopping dozens ball is harder than it looks...

Tsukasa: This practice sure make us to our limit...

Nanae: I'm going to die...

Homura: Me too...

Kotaro: Me three...

At the cafeteria...

Still tired and sweaty, they went to the cafeteria to take some break and drink some water.

Kai: Too tiredness...

Isamu: I never expect that Raimon has something like this... They way too lucky...

Homura: Well, it was our coach idea back when we still in the Soccer Festival.

Haruki: When you talk about, it's been long time since the last Soccer Festival. Currently, we're the representative our Japan in the FFI Vision 3.

Kiba: Of course, we're aiming to win the Asia prelims, and then the world tournament!

Kotaro: Yeah!

Riko: Guys!

They turn to the right and saw Riko and Asuka running toward them as they stopped near the tables.

Kaminari: What is it?

Riko: Our opponent for the semi-final match has been decided.

Asuka: It'll be the representative of Australia, Big Waves.

Suiryuu: Australia's Big Waves?

Tsukasa: We've been rivaled against them since long time ago. I never expect that they'll be our next opponent.

Kaminari: They won't be the same as the past. *stand up & look at the team* Everyone, make sure don't let your guard down! We'll win against them, and reach the final match!

IJ Players: Yeah!

(Time Skip)

After that, they went back to the Black Room. The team are practicing really hard because they next fight would be personal to both teams. They keep raising the level right after they done with the level they currently at. After few hours of training, they went to the briefing room. Kiba tapping at the tablet as the players data appear at the screen.

Kiba: This is the data of our next opponent, Australia's Big Waves. They are team with great offense. Especially their ace striker, Kyle, who's shoot is really fast. And their captain, Glenn, his shoot is more about power.

Nanae: Two players that use both power and speed separately, huh?

Isamu: Heh. Unlike them, we have both of that. After all, our Captain's shoot is both power and speed.

Kaminari: That doesn't mean that my shoot couldn't be blocked.

Homura: So far in this tournament, Senpai's shoot was never been blocked before.

Tsukasa: That might be true, but every hissatsu technique always have weakness.

Kiba: After checking even further, it seems that Big Waves is unlike other team. They use two kind of hissatsu tactics in every match in this year's tournament. Both of the tactics are defense.

Kai: Geez... Another hissatsu tactics about defense...

Haruki: This time it'll be two, huh? Semi-finals might going to be even harder.

Suiryuu: We'll definitely win this one as well. Don't forget that we have reasons not to lose before we reach the world stage.

Kirishima: No one forget about that...

Kotaro: I-I'll do my best in defense!

Kaminari(In mind): This match might going to be our hardest due the rivalry between past Inazuma Japan and Big Waves. We won't lose!

(Time Skip)
(Next Day)

Homura/Nanae: Eh? We're training together?

It shows they at the stadium field with Hakuryuu. He rope is tied around Homura and Nanae's wrists so they couldn't get away from each other. Also, they have rope tied around their waist that attached to the tires behind them.

Homura: Coach, what kind of training is this?

Nanae: Why tied our wrist together with rope?

Hakuryuu: You girls will know it soon. Now, go at the field and start running.

They listen to Hakuryuu and doing some running. Every time one of them run too fast, they fall on each other. They keep up the running because Hakuryuu told them not to stop until they really reach their limit.

Meanwhile...

Kiba is walking out from the dorm and stretch his body and take some fresh air.

Kiba: Kahh! It's good to be here... It almost like Hokkaido.

???: Kiba.

He turn around and surpised. It was his parents. His father, Okami Hibachi and his mother, Okami Yaina.

Kiba: Mom... Dad...

Yaina: Kiba, when we come home we're suprise that you're not there. We didn't against you playing soccer, but why didn't you tell us about this?

Kiba: Because... If you told you, I'm sure that you won't agree.

Yaina: Of course we wouldn't. But you should focus on your studies. If you keep playing soccer, you'll end dropping in your studies.

Kiba: I know that, Mom. But I was picked as a player in Inazuma Japan, the representative team.

Yaina: But what about your studies?

Hibachi: Just because you good soccer, what's good in it? It's just kicking ball, it's not that big deal. Well, there's no use fighting for something you've already started. When you can, withdraw from the team and come home.

Yaina: Kiba, come home quickly.

Both of them leave. Kiba just stand there while looking at the ground. Unknowing to him, Kotaro is watching from behind the bushes.

(Time Skip)
(Evening)

Kiba is sitting at the bench while looking at the sunset. He heard footsteps and saw Kotaro.

Kiba: Arashi, huh? Can you please leave me alone, I want a moment for myself now.

Kotaro: Okami-kun, are you going to left the team?

Kiba: Eh? Oh, you overheard, didn't you?

Kotaro: *nod* Yes.

Kiba: You too straight forward... *look at the sunset* Well, my parents are businessmen and they always work overseas. I don't have any free time when they around, until I realised that soccer is my natural talent. When they know about it, they keep telling me to quit from the soccer club but Fubuki-san, Yukimura-san, Nanae and the others keep protecting me because I have both excellent in predicting and research that make me really useful to the team. Back then was fine, but now... *sigh* Parents always want to control their childrens, huh?

Kotaro: I think you think in the wrong way.

Kiba: What?

Kotaro: Parents won't try to control their childrens, they just wanted what's best for them. Just like your parents, my parents are businessmen as well.

Kiba: You too?

Kotaro: That's right. Because they keep working overseas, I live with my grandparents. I didn't have any soccer talent, but somehow get accepted into the Dragonlink after I start kicking ball for a month. When my parents know that I'm in this team, they keep supporting me.

Kiba: You're sure so lucky... Have understanding parents...

Kotaro: Still I think you should choose what you really wants.

Kiba: What I really wanted?

Kotaro: That's right. Either you want to stay or leave, it's your choice. After all, Coach Hakuryuu didn't choose you into this team without no reasons.

Kiba: *chuckle* I think you're right...

Kotaro: Think about it.

Kiba: You're kinda really cool when you're not nervous.

Kotaro: I-I am? I-I'm not th-that cool...

Back at the stadium...

Homura and Nanae are panting heavily while sitting on the ground and lean at each other's back.

Nanae: *panting* I couldn't anymore...

Homura: *panting* This is so hard...

Hakuryuu: That's all for now. *walk away* Go back and get some rest.

Homura/Nanae: Coach, you're so mean...

The others are doing some practice of their own. All of them are preparing for the match against Big Waves.

Day of the Match...

"The Football Frontier International V3's Asia district prelims have reached the semifinals! The match between Japan's Inazuma Japan and Australia's Big Waves is about to begin!"

At the hallway, the teams are ready to went to the field.

Glenn: *glance right* Finally, this day has come.

Kaminari: *glance left* Yeah.

Glenn: The rivalry between us will start again here. But the winner will be us.

Kaminari: Heh. Unfortunately, it'll be us the one that laugh the last.

(Field)

They went to the field and went to their positions.

"Both teams have went to their positions! The match will begin momentarily! Inazuma Japan and Big Waves have been known as they rivaled with each other! What kind of play they'll show us?!"

Kaminari: Let's win this match!

IJ Players: Yeah!

Glenn: We'll be the one that move to the finals!

BW Players: Yeah!

As the whistle blown, Kaminari pass the ball to Kai as they run ahead. Kai pass back the ball to Kaminari as he run faster but blocked by Glenn.

Kaminari: Heh. Fight between Captains, huh? Interesting!

Glenn: We'll show you the difference between us!

Kaminari trying to keep the ball while Glenn trying to steal the ball. After few moment of struggle, Kaminari get past Glenn.

Glenn: What?!

Kaminari: We won't lose to you!

He kick the ball into the air as he jumped toward it. His right leg engulf in lightning energy.

Kaminari: Thunderbolt!

He kick the ball as it engulf in lightning energy and burst toward the goalpost.

Glenn: Ryan!

Ryan: Leave it to me!

The goalkeeper, Ryan, raise his right hand and wave to the side.

Ryan: Great Barrier Reef!

Wave wall come out from the ground and blocked the ball. After a moment, the ball stop spinning and went into the water wall. As the wall disappear, it shows Ryan caught the ball.

Kaminari: Tch!

"Goalkeeper Ryan blocked the ball! Captain Endou didn't score the goal!"

Ryan: Captain! *throw the ball* Go for it!

The ball went right at Glenn. He jumped and grab the ball. He and Kyle with the players are following them from behind.

Kaminari: Don't let them get close to the goal!

Tsukasa do a sliding but Glenn jumped to dodge it while keeping the ball. He rush ahead but Isamu steals the ball from him. As he went up, midfielders, Laura and Rein do a double sliding, stealing the ball back from him.

"What a fierce fight from the very beginning! Glenn went up but Katsuragi steal the ball, but Laura and Rein steals back the ball from him!"

Isamu: Damn it!

Laura: Please put more challenge.

Rein: *pass the ball* Kyle!

Kyle grab the ball as he keep running ahead. He easily get past Haruki and Homura. Suiryuu tries to steal the ball but Kyle get past him. As he reach the defense line, he kick the ball making it gets through the defenders. Kirishima jumped to the right and caught the ball.

Kirishima: Is that all you've got?

Kyle: Heh. I'll score next time.

"Akai caught the ball and saves the team from pinch!"

Nanae: That was close...

Kirishima: Don't mind, don't mind. Just leave the goal to me! You guys focus on getting the points! *kick the ball* Suiryuu!

The ball went right to Suiryuu and he grab it. He run ahead but Laura block his path. A whirlpool forms bellow him and form into a dragon.

Suiryuu: Kuroshio Ride!

The dragon grab the ball as it push Laura to the side. Suiryuu keep running until he surrounded by Kyle and three more players.

Kyle: Hissatsu tactics!

BW Players: Box Lock Defense!

Suiryuu: This hissatsu tactics...!

He keep looking around to see how to get out. He having hard time on trying to keep the ball. After few moments, Kyle steals the ball.

Suiryuu: No way!

"Now Big Waves use their hissatsu tactics, Box Lock Defense, and steals back the ball from Suiryuu!"

Kyle: This attack won't work on us!

He pass the ball to Glenn as he went to Inazuma Japan's field and get past Isamu. He saw the shoot chance when he saw the opening at the straight course toward the goalpost.

Glenn(In mind): This is my chance!

He kick the ball really hard until it sent Haruki and Homura to the side. Kotaro stand at the front of the goal.

Kotaro: I'll stop it!

He shout as a huge hand appear on top of him and form into fist.

Kotaro: Megaton Head!

The fist hits the ball and blast it back toward Big Waves's field.

Glenn: What?!

"Amazing! Instead of just blocking, Arashi's Megaton Head sent back the ball toward Big Waves's goal!"

Ryan: I won't let it!

He raise his right hand and wave to the side.

Ryan: Great Barrier Reef!

Wave wall come out and block the ball. The ball gets slower and stop spinning. As the water wall disappear, it shows Ryan caught the ball.

Ryan: As expected from Inazuma Japan. Even the defender has a shoot technique!

"But goalkeeper Ryan stop the shoot! He keep blocking the shoot from entering the goal!"

He kick the ball and Rein grab it. He run ahead with Laura near him.

Tsukasa: I'll stop you!

Rein kick the ball up in the air as few big blue magic circle appear. He and Laura jumped as they make a red cross with their jump.

Rein/Laura: Britania Cross!

They kick a red cross at Tsukasa sending him away. Rein keep up the dribble and pass the ball to Laura.

Laura: We won't lose that easily! *pass the ball* Glenn!

Glenn jumped and grab the ball at the same time he dodge Isamu and Homura from above. Nanae, Kotaro and Kiba tried to stop him but he able to get past them and went right in front of the goalpost.

"Big Waves's Captain Glenn is right in front of Inazuma Japan's goal! This his is perfect shoot chance!"

Kirishima: Come on!

Glenn: Here I go!

The background change into an open ocean as Glenn skating on the ball with a huge fin following him. He jumped and a Megalodon jumped out from the water.

Glenn: Megalodon Break!

He kick the ball and it engulf in blue flames. The Megalodon crash at the ball and sent it burst toward the goalpost. Kirishima raise his right leg and slam down, and punch forward as a huge spinning fist appear.

Kirishima: Seigi no Tekken!

The fist hits the ball. Both fist and the ball keep pushing until the ball break through the fist. It push Kirishima away and went into the goal.

"Goal!! The first one to score is Big Waves!"

(Inazuma Japan) 0 - 1 (Big Waves)

Glenn: That's how you score the goal. *walk away* I hope you guys can show more.

Kirishima look at his hands before clenching them and grit his teeth.

Nanae: What a power...

Kiba: A new Megalodon shoot... huh?

Kaminari(In mind): *sigh* I knew it... This match isn't going to be easy.

"The ball is now in Inazuma Japan's possession, the kickoff will start! They currently one point behind!"

Tsukasa: They've become even tougher than the previous Big Waves.

Kaminari: That is why this match will gets even more interesting. We get to fight with stronger opponent.

Tsukasa: Yeah.

As the whistle blown, Kaminari pass the ball to Tsukasa as they move up. Kaminari pass the ball to Kai who's at the side but he get surrounded by four players.

Kai: What?!

Glenn: Hissatsu tactics!

BW Players: Suck Out!

They run around Kai in right turn and start forming a whirlpool as it slowly gets bigger. After few moment, the water explode and shown Kai sent away into the air as Kyle gets the ball.

"How suprising! Big Waves use another hissatsu tactics and steals back the ball from Yoshi!"

Tsukasa: They really use two hissatsu tactics in one match!

Kaminari: Strengthen the defense! Don't let them score again!

IJ Players: Right!

The players keep attacking and defending their field so both team counldn't score any goal.

"This has turn into intense match! Inazuma Japan and Big Waves aren't giving up at all! Offense and defense! The first half is almost over, how will this play in the half-time will over?!"

Isamu keep moving up as Laura and Kyle went in front of him. His speed is getting higher as his body engulf in lightning energy.

Isamu: Lightning Accel!

He run past them in high speed and past the ball to Kai. Kai put his fingers in his mouth and whistle as seven penguins appear and went into the ball as it engulf in rainbow energy.

Kai: Koutei Penguin 7!

He kick the ball and the penguins burst out from the ball and follow it toward the goal. Ryan raise his right hand and wave to the side.

Ryan: Great Barrier Reef!

Wave wall come out from the ground and block the ball. The ball stopped and went into the water. As the water wall disappear, it shows Ryan caught the ball.

Kai: Tch! He keep caughting it!

Ryan: *kick the ball* Counterattack!

The players keep passing the ball as it keep getting forward and reach Glenn. He in shoot stance but Nanae, Kotaro and Kiba is in front of him. He smirk as he kick the ball to side and it went to Kyle.

Nanae: What?!

Kyle: Your side are wide-open!

Kirishima ready himself to catch the shoot. Kyle do three slash kick at the ball causing it to engulf in slashing orange energy as the background shows a furious Tasmanian Tiger.

Kyle: Thylacine Fang!

He kick the ball as the Tasmanian Tiger roar, as the ball burst toward the goalpost. Kirishima raise his right leg and slam down, and punch forward as a huge spinning fist appear.

Kirishima: Seigi no--

Before he could use his hissatsu in time, he get pushed away and the ball went into the goal.

"It's in! Big Waves scored another goal again! Kyle's powerful shoot makes break through Akai's defense!"

(Inazuma Japan) 0 - 2 (Big Waves)

Kirishima: Damn it! Again?!

Kyle: *walk away* Unfortunately, it'll be us that will advance to the finals.

Nanae: What was with that shoot?

Kotaro: It have more power and speed than before.

Kiba: Tch. Which means they improved even more than the data we saw about them.

Inazuma Japan players could feel the tense between them and Big Waves players. With using two hissatsu tactics in one match with powerful and fast shoot, it would be tough for them to win in this semi-finals match. After few more minutes, the referee look at his wristwatch and blow the whistle.

"The first half is over! It ends with Big Waves in the lead with 2-0, leaving Inazuma Japan behind! What will happened in the second between these two teams?! The match will resume after the break!"

Both teams went to their bench to get some rest before continuing the match in the second half.

(Inazuma Japan bench)

Riko and Asuka giving drinks and towel to the players as they take some break for awhile.

Kirishima: Dammit, I couldn't even stop their shoot...

Nanae: Don't feel so down.

Kotaro: We defenders couldn't do anything, too.

Kiba: Big Waves are too strong. They're different than before.

Haruki: How should we defend like this. I couldn't use Kami no Takuto: Fire Illusion if they keep using the double hissatsu tactics. We need to somehow change the flow of the game, or we'll end up losing here.

Kaminari: *turn to Hakuryuu* Coach, what should do?

Hakuryuu: Do you guys couldn't win without my advice?

The players felt tense as they look at each other.

Tsukasa: Coach, that is what we players need. We need to listen to our Coach's advice.

Hakuryuu: Very well. Suiryuu, Yukimura, you two change positions. Since Suiryuu has fast reflexes, do pass cutting or defending won't be a problem to him. Yukimura, you went up as a midfielder.

Suiryuu: Yes, sir.

Tsukasa: That's not what I meant, Coach! Aren't Nanae-chan is part of our main defense? Why would you put her as midfielders?

Hakuryuu: Mainly, most of you are forwards and captain for your previous team. Also... *look at Tsukasa* Didn't you say that players should listen to their coach? Why didn't you try to listen to me when I told you?

Tsukasa: Th-That...

He felt tap at his shoulder and turn around and saw Kaminari.

Tsukasa: Endou...

Kaminari: Let's just listen to Coach for this time. Coach do have his own reasons if he make those commands.

Tsukasa: *sigh* Fine... As long as you fine with this...

Kariya: Remember, this best we can beat them is keep on offensive. And avoid their hissatsu tactics with our own. Is that clear?

IJ Players: Yes, sir!

Riko: Everyone, good luck!

Asuka: We always cheering you!

(Big Waves bench)

Kyle: They seem desperate.

Glenn: Don't let you guard down, Inazuma Japan was famous for making comeback each time they're in a pinch.

Kyle: Right.

Ryan: They won't get past me. As long as I'm in front the goal, they won't score.

Glenn: We need to keep them from scoring or we'll lose.

Ryan: Yeah.

(Field)

After the break, they went back to the field and ready to play in the second half. Both team determine to win this match so one of them can reach the finals and went to the world stage. The second half woul be even more intense.
