Inazuma Japan has won the semi-finals match and secure their seat at the finals. They've got even stronger than before. But they'll face another challenge that might break them apart.

At the soccer field...

The players are doing some practice to prepare for the finals where they going to fight for the team that'll be representing the Asia district.

Kaminari: Suiryuu pass to Katsuragi!

Suiryuu: Okay!

He pass the ball to Isamu as he keep moving up. Kotaro tries to block him but Isamu get past him and rush ahead. Nanae quickly steals the ball and pass it to Kiba but Homura steals it and kick the ball toward the goalpost but Kirishima able to catch it.

Homura: Damn it! So close!

Kirishima: I won't let any shoot gets in!

They went to the bench to take some break and having some drinks.

Nanae: Kirishima-kun, how's your hand?

Kirishima: Oh, it's okay now.

Kiba: I never expected Captain have a goalkeeper technique. That was suprising.

Suiryuu: That means you didn't watch the fully Soccer Festival matches. He become our goalkeeper in Raimon twice already.

Riko: Guys!

They turn around and saw Riko and Asuka run toward them as they stopped.

Asuka: Our finals opponent has been decided!

Tsukasa: Who'll be it? Malaysia, or Korea?

Riko: It'll be Malaysia.

Kaminari: Malaysia, huh? Their team name is Malaya Beast.

Kai: Aren't they the team that went to the world stage last year?

Isamu: Yeah. They full of suprises since Malaysia just recently join in the FFI few years ago but the first few times they compete, they never get past the first or second round.

Suiryuu: Just like others, they've become even stronger.

Hakuryuu: Is everyone here?

They look up and saw Hakuryuu along with Kariya.

Homura: Coach. Yes, everyone is here.

Hakuryuu: Tomorrow, you'll have a practice match.

Kaminari: Practice match? Against who?

Hakuryuu: You'll know it when you meet them.

Kariya: Use that practice match to get stronger, and train yourself to prepare for the finals.

IJ Players: Yes, sir!

(Time Skip)

At the briefing room...

While the others went to practice in the Black Room, Kiba and Kotaro are at the briefing room to do some research about their opponent in the finals.

Kiba: Representative of Malaysia, Malaya Beast.

Kotaro: They good in both offense and defense.

Kiba: So far Malaya Beast was known as the weakness team, but they get even stronger in this past years after their lose.

Kotaro: Okami-kun, look at this.

The screen shows some of the matches of Malaya Warriors in the FFI V3. All of the matches was quite hard for their opponent.

Kiba: I see. Their strong point is their captain who is the goalkeeper, he never let any of the shoot gets in.

Kotaro: That's for defense. For offense, their forwards do most of the scoring the goals.

Kiba: They're tougher than their looks. The finals might going to be our hardest match so far.

Then Tsukasa comes into the room while wiping his face with a towel before looking at the screen.

Tsukasa: Did you two find anything we can use to counter them?

Kotaro: Oh, Kishibe-kun.

Kiba: We've research some data about them but we didn't find any weakness yet.

Tsukasa: I see. Then good luck, don't forget to do some training. We have a practice match tomorrow, Endou told me to tell you two.

Kiba/Kotaro: Okay!

(Time Skip)

At the stadium...

(A/N: If you don't know, Odaiba Soccer Garden does have a soccer stadium at the training camp)

The team are walking through the hallway toward the stadium after they wear their jersey.

Homura: I wonder who'll be our opponent in this practice match.

Haruki: Endou-kun, what do you think?

Kaminari: Coach has his own reason. All we can do is to obey.

As they reach the steel door, Kaminari press the button and the door opened. When they went to the stadium, they were suprised when the roof of the stadium open and look around. They saw lots of crowd cheering at the stands of the stadium.

Homura: Wh-What is this?!

Kiba: There's so many crowd!

Isamu: Aren't this supposed to be a practice match?

Hakuryuu: It is.

They look at the side and saw Hakuryuu, Kariya and the managers at the bench area.

Hakuryuu: This won't be just a normal practice match.

At the other bench area, it shows the other team. The person who went to meet with Hakuryuu before come out between the players. He's wearing black jacket with red highlights and dark blue shirt inside, brown long pants and white shoes. That person is Matatagi Hayato, the player of the second Inazuma Japan and member in Earth Eleven. The whole team except for Kaminari suprise when they saw him.

Matatagi: I'm Matatagi Hayato, the coach of Resistance Japan!

Kaminari: Resistance Japan, huh?

Matatagi: These my eleven. Inazuma Japan, this won't be a mere practice match! I and Coach Hakuryuu have agree, that if you guys lose, my team will take your place in the FFI V3!

IJ Players: What?!

Kaminari didn't say anything when he knew something isn't right about this match.

Kai: Hey, Coach! What kind of agreement was that?!

Isamu: They'll take our place if lose? That's load of crap!

Suiryuu(In mind): Haku-nii, why...?

Nanae: Coach, we've been working hard in this tournament! So why?!

Hakuryuu: You should it yourself on the field. We don't need weak players.

It makes them suprised and feeling frustrated. Kaminari look at Hakuryuu before turning to Resistance Japan.

Kaminari(In mind): There's nothing isn't right about this. Coach wouldn't do this so suddenly. Something isn't right.

"Welcome to the Odaiba Soccer Garden where the practice match between Inazuma Japan against Resistance Japan right here at the Odaiba Stadium! If Inazuma Japan lose, Resistance Japan will take their places in the tournament! Will Inazuma Japan able to defend their place in the main team of Japan?! I, Kakuma Jiro, will be the commentary today! I'm exciting to become the commentor of world-level match!"

(Field)

Both team went to their position on the field.

Kariya: I'll be the referee of this match.

Tsukasa: We cannot lose this match!

Isamu: This is our place in the tournament!

Kaminari(In mind): There's definitely something wrong. Playing is the way we know what behind this.

As the whistle blown, Kaminari pass the ball to Tsukasa as they went up but Yuuya quickly grab the ball.

Tsukasa: What?!

Yuuya: Too slow!

"Minamisawa quickly steals the ball from Kishibe!"

Yuuya: The guys like you don't deserve to be in Inazuma Japan!

Kai: Try say that again!

As he charge toward Yuuya, he raise his hand and snap his fingers.

Yuuya: Pause!

Everything stopped and went black and white. He walk past Kai and the midfielders. He snap his fingers again and everything moves again.

Kai: What?!

Suiryuu: That technique is too troublesome!

Yuuya: If you want to stop me, then try!

He stump at the ball as he look forward and smirk. He kick the ball as he disappear and reappear while kicking the ball and kick at the last time.

Yuuya: Setsuna Boost!

The ball engulf in blue energy and burst toward the goalpost. Sai quickly rush ahead to chase the ball.

"And now, Sai is chasing the ball!"

Yuuya: Destroy them, Sai!

Sai: Okay!

He runs as some waters moving behind him. He jumped toward the ball as flying fish jump out from the water.

Sai: Flying Fish!

He kick the ball with both of his feets and added power to the ball.

Nanae: Shoot chain?!

Kiba: What a power!

The ball sent the defenders away. Kirishima push forward his hands and tried to stop the ball but it push him away and it went in.

"Goal!! Right after the whistle was blown, Resistance Japan scored their first point!"

(Inazuma Japan) 0 - 1 (Resistance Japan)

Kirishima get up and look at his hands. Some smoke is there with burn marks at his gloves.

Kirishima(In mind): That shoot chain... *clench his fists* These guys aren't kidding at all!

Sai: I was expecting more, but even goalkeeper couldn't do anything. What a shame.

Kirishima: What's that?!

"Now the match continues with Inazuma Japan's kickoff!"

Tsukasa: We won't lose!

When the whistle blown, Kai pass the ball to Tsukasa as they move up. They able to get past some players and he pass the ball back to Kai.

Kai: Here I go!

He put his fingers in his mouth and whistle as seven penguins appear and entered the ball, causing it to engulf in rainbow energy.

Kai: Koutei Penguin 7!

He kick the ball as the penguins burst out and follow the ball. Higashi make "X" with his hands as he jumped forward, he push his right hand forward and a huge hand appear.

Higashi: Zetsu God Hand X!

He blocks the ball. As the ball stopped, the huge hand disappear.

Kai: He caught it?!

"Goalkeeper Hazama blocks the shoot! Inazuma Japan didn't score!"

Higashi: *sigh* I kinda don't like this method...

Kouta: We've lose our chance in the selection, but this is what we must do now.

Jingo: That's right.

Higashi: That's not what I meant...

He throw the ball toward Jun and jumped to grab it. He rush ahead once again and get past the players. He glance back and saw Yuuya.

Jun: *back pass* Do it, Captain!

Yuuya: Our second point! *kick the ball* Do it, Makoto, Taru!

Makoto/Taru: Yeah!

Both of them jumped as Makoto's right leg engulf in flames. Taru put his right leg at the ball as Makoto slam his right leg in flames at the ball.

Taru: Hinawa...

Makoto: ...Bullet!

The ball engulf in flames and burst toward the goalpost. Kirishima jump to the right but the ball went in.

"It's in! Resistance Japan obtain another point!"

(Inazuma Japan) 0 - 2 (Resistance Japan)

"Inazuma Japan lose another point! They're two points behind!"

Kirishima: Again...!

As the match continues, Inazuma Japan keep getting pressured by Resistance Japan by their plays. Kaminari didn't do much in order to find what is really going on at the field. He just keep observing the players of Resistance Japan. He saw that Yuuya did giving orders as a captain but he didn't really enjoy it same as Higashi.

Kaminari(In mind): I knew it. It's not that we couldn't win this match. It's because...

He look at the bench area. He look at Hakuryuu and then Matatagi. Matatagi realise that Kaminari looking at him and smirked.

Tsukasa: Endou, focus on this match!

As Kaminari realised, he is keeping the ball while he's surrounded by Yuuya, Sai and Izawa. He looking at them before sigh and just give the ball to Yuuya, making both team suprised.

"Wh-What is this?! Inazuma Japan's Captain Endou just give up the ball to Captain Minamisawa!"

Yuuya: What?

Kaminari: *glance away* Hurry and beat them in this first half. I'll do something about this in the second half myself.

Yuuya: *smile* I see, so you've found out the real thing without knowing, huh?

He, Sai and Izawa are running past Kaminari but Kaminari didn't seem care about it and just stand there. They keep up the movement until they reach the defense line.

Haruki: We couldn't keep up!

Kiba: Captain doesn't seem care about this match, but we'll win the match ourselves!

Tsukasa: Defense!

Yuuya: Too late!

Sai and Izawa take running stance and run ahead. Yuuya put his fingers in his mouth and whistle as five penguins come out and burst as he kick the ball.

Yuuya: Koutei Penguin...

The ball dash to front as the penguins follow it. Sai and Izawaa jumped and spins as they kick the ball.

Sai/Izawa: ...Niigo!

The ball engulf in yellow-orange energy and burst toward the goalpost as the penguins follow it. Kirishima raise his right leg and slam down, and he punch forward as a huge spinning fist appear.

Kirishima: Seigi no Tekken!

The fist hits the ball and try to punch it away. He's struggling to punch it away but he get pushed back. The ball breaks through and went in.

"Goal!! Resistance Japan makes their third goal! Inazuma Japan was left far behind with the three-point difference!"

(Inazuma Japan) 0 - 3 (Resistance Japan)

They continue to play. Resistance Japan just keep putting hard pressure at Inazuma Japan except for Kaminari who doesn't seem to help his teammates. After few more minutes, Kariya blows the whistle.

"That's it for the first half! Resistance Japan put lots of pressure to Inazuma Japan! What will happened in the second half?! Will Inazuma Japan's current members will able to protect their position as main members?!"

Both team went to their bench. Resistance Japan players are doing fine but all ten Inazuma Japan players are exhausted due the pressure in the game.

(Resistance Japan bench)

Matatagi: It's look like you guys doing well so far.

Higashi: Coach, is there a point of doing this? Even if we won, you told us...

Yuuya: I didn't really care about it.

Higashi: Huh?

Yuuya: Able to play with Kaminari despite not in the same team is already enough.

Higashi: *smile* I guess you're right...

Sai: So, what should we do, Captain?

Yuuya: Heh. Play like usual. I wanted to see if not only Kaminari, but all of them realise about it.

(Inazuma Japan bench)

Tsukasa: Endou, what was that about?!

Isamu: When you have that ball, you should shoot! Why did you give it to them?!

Kotaro: *look down* I think that's it for our dream to the world stage...

Homura: Senpai, what was that play?!

Kaminari just keep quiet while looking away from them. They feeling frustrated as they look at Hakuryuu.

Haruki: Coach, shouldn't you say anything?

Hakuryuu: Say what? You guys don't realise about it.

Nanae: Realise?

Hakuryuu: Kaminari is the only one that realise the true reason of this match. Also, you didn't even know that you return to the state where all of you gathered at first.

Kirishima: When Coach said it... I did saw it. Yoshi-san have the ball but keep it, Katsuragi didn't cooperate with others, our teamworks are fragile again...

Kaminari: *turn around* You forget about the important thing when they use that bet. "When on the field, don't think anything else besides soccer." You just keep thinking about staying in the team instead of enjoying playing soccer. It isn't Resistance Japan that put pressure on us, it was you guys.

Isamu: We make the same mistake... Damn it!

Kai: I didn't realise it at all!

Nanae: Then how should we counter them?

Kaminari: Did you guys forget again?

Suiryuu: I don't. When on the field, don't think of anything else beside soccer, right?

Homura: That's right!

The team look at each other and start to feel determine again.

Kaminari: Coach, do the crowds know about the real reason of this match?

Hakuryuu: Well, it supposed they might. Also, the victory of this team depends on you.

Kaminari: I know that. I'm the captain, after all.

He sigh before looking at Resistance Japan.

Kaminari(In mind): I don't know if my team understand the situation, but even if it's just a practice match... we won't be easy.

(Field)

Both team went back to the field and went to their position.

"Now both team have went back to the field and ready in their position! Inazuma Japan is three point behind with Resistance Japan! With this far distance, will Inazuma Japan catch up?! The second half starts with Resistance Japan's kickoff!"

As the whistle blown, Yuuya pass the ball to Izawa as they run ahead. Suddenly, Tsukasa appear in front of them and steals the ball.

Izawa: What?!

"Wow! Kishibe steals the ball from Izawa in that instant!"

Tsukasa(In mind): This match is about see how our teamwork in this kind pinch! We'll use this!

He rush ahead and get past the midfielders.

Jun: He's fast!

Taru: They finally get serious, huh?!

"Kishibe boldly heading toward Resistance Japan's defense line!"

Kouta: I'll stop you!

Tsukasa: *pass the ball* Yoshi!

Kai appear at the side and receive the ball. Tsukasa do the pass without looking.

Kouta: Crap!

"Kishibe makes a no-look pass! And now Yoshi makes a centering!"

Kai(In mind): This time...!

He put his fingers in his mouth and whistle causing seven penguins appear and entered the ball causing it engulf in rainbow energy.

Kai: Koutei Penguin 7!

He kick the ball causing the penguins burst out and follow the ball. Higashi pull back his right hand as it glows in silverish-black energy and raise his hand causing a gigantic silver hand appear.

Higashi: Kurogane The Hand!

The hand grab the ball and clench it really hard. As the hand disappear, it shows Higashi caught the ball.

Kai(In mind): He block it again? But he change his technique, my shoot has become even stronger!

Higashi: Now this is the Inazuma Japan that I know! *kick the ball* Yuuya!

The ball went right toward Yuuya. Homura and Suiryuu quickly marked on him.

Yuuya: Heh. So it's you two, huh?

Homura: Yesterday ally, today enemies.

Suiryuu: Well, that's not how the words used for...

Yuuya: If you two trying to stop me, then try!

He's keeping the ball while Homura and Suiryuu tries to steal the ball from him. In the end, Yuuya able to get through and pass the ball to Jun.

Yuuya: Score it!

Jun: Leave it to me!

He hold the ball with his legs and throw it up in the air. He jumped and kick the ball with his left leg and then right as the ball engulf in green energy.

Jun: Sidewinder V3!

The ball burst a snake hiss and follow from behind. Kiba stand in front of it. He shout as the background change into snowland with heavy blizzard as a grey wolf appear behind him.

Kiba: Wolf Charge!

He rush ahead and hit the ball with his right leg as the grey wolf crash at the ball, stopping it.

Jun: He stopped my shoot?!

Kiba: I'm not just a mere defender anymore! *pass the ball* Captain!

Kaminari jumped and grab the ball as he pass it to Kai. Jun and Hosuka went to the block him but Kai able to get past them.

"Forward Yoshi hasn't giving up at all! He'll do a shoot!"

Kai: Here goes!

He kick the ball into the air and shout as the ball engulf in dark rainbow like energy. He jumped as typhoon orb forms at the ball.

Kai: Furinkazan Destroyer!

He kick the ball and it burst toward the goalpost.

Higashi: To the left?!

He quickly jumped but barely able to touch the ball before it went into the goal.

"It's in! Inazuma Japan finally scored a point! Yoshi's new hissatsu shoot soars into Resistance Japan's goal!"

(Inazuma Japan) 1 - 3 (Resistance Japan)

Kai: All right!

Tsukasa: When did he learn that technique?

Suiryuu: Who cares. As long as we have one point!

Homura: The flow is in our side! Let's get another point!

"The match resume with Resistance Japan's kickoff! Inazuma Japan finally catch up with one point!"

As the whistle blown, Hosuka pass the ball to Yuuya as they move up. Both team keep up the attacking and defending with everything they've got. They use their best abilities in order to win the match.

"This has turn into an intense match! Nor Inazuma Japan and Resistance Japan are giving up!"

Taru and Makoto rush ahead. Both of them jumped as Makoto's right leg engulf in flames. Taru put his right leg at the ball as Makoto slam his right leg in flames at the ball.

Taru: Hinawa...

Makoto: ...Bullet!

The ball engulf with flames as it burst toward the goalpost.

Kirishima: Bring it! I'll block it!

He raise his right leg and slam down, and punch forward as a huge spinning fist appear. The fist shines the brightest.

Kirishima: Seigi no Tekken!

The fist hits the ball. After a moment, the fist punch the ball away.

"This time goalkeeper Akai blocked the ball! Inazuma Japan didn't lose another point!"

The ball went right toward Isamu. He running ahead and pass the ball to Suiryuu. He keep running ahead until he reach the defense line.

Jingo/Susumu: You won't past!

Suiryuu move run in high speed. He start to disappear and reappear at each side before he disappear in front of them and reappear behind them.

Suiryuu: Sprint Warp!

Jingo/Susumu: No way!

"Now Suiryuu use a new hissatsu technique! Inazuma Japan keep improving at every step in this match!"

Suiryuu: *pass the ball* Captain!

Kaminari receive the ball and run ahead as Isamu and Kai right behind him. He kick the ball as it engulf in purple energy. Isamu kick it and Kai kick the last as the ball went to the center of them as rings appear around the ball.

Kaminari/Isamu/Kai: Big Bang!

They kick the ball and it explode as the huge explosion heading toward the goalpost. Higashi pull back his right hand as it shines in silverish-black energy and raise his hand as a gigantic silver hand appear.

Higashi: Kurogane The Hand!

The hand catch the ball and clench it but it break through and went into the goal.

"Goal!! Inazuma Japan scored their second point with a combo hissatsu shoot!"

(Inazuma Japan) 2 - 3 (Resistance Japan)

Higashi: That should be how this match should be!

"With only one more point, Inazuma Japan will catch up with Resistance Japan! There's not much time left!"

Yuuya and Kijima are running toward the defense line but Kaminari quickly steals the ball from Kijima.

Kijima: He's fast!

Kaminari: Don't underestimate Inazuma Japan's soccer!

He keep up the running as he keep dodging the players with his speed. As Jun went in front of him, Kaminari move to left and then to right, leaving "Z" mark on the ground.

Kaminari: Z Slash!

"Endou is unstoppable! Does any players in Resistance Japan stop him?! He keep speeding up all the way!"

Homura: What is with that movement?

Kotaro: Captain is faster than before!

Kaminari keep running until he break through the defense line and went face-to-face with Higashi in front of the goal.

Higashi: Bring it, Kaminari!

Kaminari: You know what? There's some one thing that make the difference between us!

He spins the ball with his legs and it engulf in lightning energy and swirl of blizzard wind.

Higashi: And what is that?

Kaminari: My shoot is the only one you couldn't catch!

He jumped and spins twice before kick the ball.

Kaminari: Thunder Blizzard!

The ball burst toward the goalpost. Higashi shout as pull back his hand as it shines in silverish-black. He raise his hand causing a gigantic silver hand appear.

Higashi: Kurogane The Hand!

The hand catch the ball and clench it. Higashi get pushed back as he tried to block the shoot. After few moment, the ball breaks through and push Higashi to the side as it went in.

"Goal!! Endou scored the third point for Inazuma Japan! They caught up with Resistance Japan and ties to score!"

(Inazuma Japan) 3 - 3 (Resistance Japan)

Kaminari walk back to their field as he glance back at Higashi. The others went him.

Tsukasa: I never thought that you'll defeat his hissatsu technique with a solo shoot!

Kaminari: We have many practice with hissatsu technique back in Raimon. My shoot is the only one he couldn't block.

Homura: Okay, let's win this match!

Suiryuu: Yeah!

Kaminari: Actually, there's no need to win anymore. After all...

Kariya blows the whistle, ending the match.

"The match is over! The practice match between Inazuma Japan and Resistance Japan ended up a draw! No one win this match! But it still an amazing match between these two teams!"

Isamu: It's a draw?

Kirishima: That's means no one wins... right?

Kaminari: This just a practice match. Winning or losing isn't a problem at all.

Tsukasa: But that bet...!

Kaminari: That's just a bluff, to make our teamworks get fragile again. But if we play without caring about it, we able to play to our fullest abilities.

Then both team went to the center of the field and shake hands.

Kaminari: Thanks, for this practice match.

Yuuya: Well, we Resistance Japan was gathered in order to fight you guys anyway. Win or lose isn't matter, at least fighting with you in full power is already enough.

Kaminari: You know that you already lose the chance to be Inazuma Japan's reserve players?

Yuuya: I know. They all in this team know. But we able to fight with your team, that's more than enough.

Kaminari: I never expect that you'll become the captain.

Yuuya: I was suprised myself, that Coach Matatagi pick me as the captain.

The team are talking with each other while Matatagi meet with Hakuryuu.

Matatagi: Now this is fine. They'll know what kind of challenge that lies ahead.

Hakuryuu: Well, thanks for making them realized about the true teamworks.

Matatagi: It's not me. It was him.

He look at Kaminari.

Matatagi: Giving rough orders while able to play on his own way, he's an interesting guy.

Hakuryuu: He still have room to grow, just like the others.

The match between Inazuma Japan and Resistance Japan ended up with a draw. But they able to experience the abilities between them and the other team. The finals is close. The match where it will test their fullest ability.
