With the new hissatsu shoot, Isamu able to score the final point for Inazuma Japan. In the end, Inazuma Japan win against Storm Wolf by 3-2. The next match is the quarterfinals.

At the cafeteria...

The team are having some breakfast that Kamata cook for them. It's her job take care of the team.

Kamata: Eat up and get some energy for the practice.

Everyone: Yes, ma'am!

They players along with the managers having breakfast together. Riko eat the sandwich as she swallow and look at the team making Asuka look at her.

Asuka: What's wrong?

Riko: Nothing. At the selection day, this team is crumbling. But look at them now, they finally getting along with each other.

Asuka look at the team and they eating their breakfast while talking with each other. While eating, Riko realise that she didn't saw Kaminari or Tsukasa anywhere.

Riko: Huh? Where's Captain and Kishibe-kun?

Asuka: When you mention about it, yeah, I didn't see those two this morning.

Riko: *look at Kamata* Auntie, where is those two?

Kamata: Oh, they came early than you guys. After the breakfast, they went to the briefing room.

Suiryuu: Eh? That was early...

Haruki: Well, Endou has his job as our Captain. Kishibe is the one that mostly gave him support in leading the team.

Isamu: They might be checking who'll be our next opponent.

Nanae: Kaminari-kun is working hard as Captain. Maybe I should give him a kiss later~.

The others felt really awkward when she said that. Homura puff her cheeks as she continue to eat her sandwich. Unlike others, Suiryuu just keep looking at his sandwich instead of eating it.

Suiryuu(In mind): I didn't anything yet... Everyone's progress gets even better, but I...

Kotaro: Suiryuu-san? Suiryuu-san!

Suiryuu: *snapped* Ah! Oh! What's wrong, Arashi?

Kotaro: *shivering* Why are you just staring at your sandwich? It's scary!

Suiryuu: Oh, sorry!

He eat his sandwich while the others finishing their breakfast. After eating, they went to the briefing room.

At the briefing room...

Kaminari looking at the screen while Tsukasa holding the tablet while checking some data. Both of them are watching about the match, and the winner will be their opponent in the quarterfinals.

Kaminari: I knew it.

Tsukasa: Our next opponent won't be like the previous.

Then the others came into the room.

Haruki: Captain.

Kaminari: *turn around* Oh. It's you guys, huh?

Kiba: You two were too early. The research supposed to be my job.

Tsukasa: I see. Then we'll let you handle the research data for our opponent team then.

Kiba: H-Hey, don't put every work on me!

Suiryuu: By the way, who'll be our next opponent?

Kaminari: It'll be the representative of Singapore, Great Marlin.

Nanae: Singapore's Great Marlin, huh?

Homura: Are they strong?

Tsukasa: Heh. They're not strong, they're extremely tough. Their defense are called the number one among all team in this tournament.

Kai: Number one in defense, huh?

Tsukasa: Their hissatsu tactics allow them to trap a player with the ball a barrier form with six players, holding them from attacking. Without defeating their hissatsu tactics, there's no chance of scoring a goal. *tap at the tablet* This is the data of the team.

The screen shows the data of the players in Great Marlin.

Kaminari: Most of their players are originally defenders, but that doesn't mean they can't attack. Their two forwards are fast, and their captain is their key of winning. Juvina Locks, their midfielder and fast attacker.

Nanae: Well, it's rare for any team have girls as their captain.

Homura: I agree.

Tsukasa: Their captain mostly the one that scores the goal for the team. From our usual formation, it'll be hard. Since our team is mostly forwards and midfielders, making us the super offense team.

Isamu: Super offense against super defense, huh? *crack his fists* This is going to be interesting.

Kai: Who'll win? Our offense, or their defense?

(Time Skip)

At the field...

After the briefing, the players practice at the field before went to the Black Room. They are training with offensive strategy. 

Kaminari: We'll be doing a pratical training. Play like we're in a real match. I, Yoshi, Kishibe, Homura and Suiryuu will be the attacker. Kazami and Katsuragi, you'll join the defense.

Haruki: Okay.

Isamu: I'm in defense, huh? Well, it can't be helped.

Kaminari: Okay guys, let's pratice!

IJ Players: Right!

They take their positions. Kaminari start running with the forwards and midfielders follow him. The defenders along with Haruki went ahead to stop them.

Kaminari: *pass the ball* Kishibe!

Tsukasa: *receive the ball* Okay!

Isamu: You won't past me!

He tries to steal the ball while Tsukasa trying to keep it. He glance around and pass the ball to Kai.

Kai: Okay!

He run ahead as Kiba do a sliding at him. But Kai jumped while keeping the ball.

Kiba: What?!

Kai: Too easy. *pass the ball* Suiryuu!

Suiryuu went to get the ball. He jumped to get it but the ball went out of bound, making the others confused.

Homura: Huh?

Tsukasa: He could receive a pass like that. How come he missed it?

Suiryuu(In mind): Damn it. What is wrong with my play?

As they continue to play, they keep practicing the offense and defense. The others improved even more but Suiryuu's play suddenly get lower than before. The players are taking a break while drinking some water.

Kiba: Kahh! Break after practice is good!

Nanae: Yeah!

Isamu: Still... *look at Suiryuu* What is wrong with his play all the sudden?

Kiba: Who knows.

Isamu: Is he really the younger brother of Coach Hakuryuu? I know that he adopted him, but his play is bad than usual.

Suiryuu did heard that but he keep quiet while clenching his fists. The others are talking with each other but Suiryuu still spacing out from them.

Kotaro: Ehhh?!

It makes the others look at Kotaro. He currently talking with Kaminari about something.

Kotaro: There's no way I could master that hissatsu!

Kaminari: I know that can master. After all, you're good in heading. This technique is the fitting one for you.

Kotaro: R-Right! I-I'll do my best!

Kaminari: Good. Make sure you master that technique before the match.

Kotaro: Y-Yes, sir!

Then they back to practice again. They keep doing the offense with charge so they can break through Great Marlin's absolute defense.

(Night)

Suiryuu is leaning at the rail while watching the view. He keep think about he is play during the practice as the wind blowing.

Suiryuu(In mind): What is wrong with me? Why I'm not playing like the way I always do...?

???: Kaminari tells me about that your play getting worse.

He turn around and saw Hakuryuu.

Suiryuu: Haku-nii...

Hakuryuu: Call me as Coach.

Suiryuu: O-Oh, sorry...

Hakuryuu: Why did your play getting worse all the sudden? You play just fine in the last two matches.

Suiryuu: I-I... being useless to the team... I never done anything good in those matches.

Hakuryuu: You just desperate because not being able to play the way I expected, right?

Suiryuu look at Hakuryuu before he grit his teeth. He clench his fists as he look down. 

Hakuryuu: Suiryuu, play the way you should be. That's all I'm asking you as your Coach. *walk away* Don't think too much on being good on yourself.

Suiryuu: Yes, sir...

He keep looking down due he's not being himself. All he did is passing in the match without doing much in the last matches.

Day of the Match...

"The quarterfinals Football Frontier International Vision 3 Asia district preliminaries is here at last! I bring to you the match between Japan's Inazuma Japan and Singapore's Great Marlin! In this tournament, Great Marlin's defense is undefeated! Will Inazuma Japan the first one to break through their defense?! Which of these teams will advance to the semi-finals?!"

The players are at the field and do some warming up before the match starts.

(Great Marlin bench)

Juvina is tying the strings at her shoes. She stand up and do some stretching as her teammates went to her.

Carl: Captain.

Juvina: *look back* What?

Carl: Is there any plan against Inazuma Japan?

Lee: Heh. Who needs plan when we have our impregnable hissatsu tactics.

Ching: That's right.

Juvina: Don't let your guard down.

They look at Juvina.

Juvina: It's true that our hissatsu tactics are impregnable so far. But don't forget that Inazuma Japan are super offensive team. They actually could beat our super defense tactics.

Lee: You think too much, Captain.

Carl: Hey, at least listen to Captain.

Ching: We'll listen when it nessessary.

They walk away to talk with the others.

Carl: Those guys...

Juvina: Let them be. We have to focus in the game.

Carl: Yes, ma'am.

(Inazuma Japan bench)

Kariya speak with the players with the strategy that Hakuryuu recommeded them, making some of them confused.

Kariya: That is our plan.

Tsukasa: But Trainer Kariya, why did you put Endou at the midfield? He's our ace striker!

Kariya: I know that. It was Coach Hakuryuu suggestion.

Tsukasa: Coach!

Hakuryuu: Just use that plan. Suiryuu, I'm putting you in defense.

Suiryuu: *suprised* Huh? Why, Coach?

Homura: Why, Coach Hakuryuu?

Haruki: Suiryuu is one of our fast reflexes player. Why would you put him at the back in defense?

Hakuryuu: That's all.

Suiryuu: But Coach...!

He felt really frustrated when his own brother would put him in defense.

Suiryuu: Y-Yes, sir...

Kaminari: Well, that is Coach's orders. *look at the team* No complaint, let play and win this match as well!

(Field)

Both team went to the field and went to their positions.

"With both team have went to their positions, the match will begin momentarily! Great Marlin's defense have been unbeatable in this tournament with their impregnable defense! Inazuma Japan putting their Captain Endou as midfielder this time, and their midfielder Suiryuu as defender!"

Carl: What?

Juvina: Ace striker and fast reflexes player at the back?

Lee: Heh. They're scared of us.

Ching: We'll crush them.

As the whistle blown, Kai pass the ball to Tsukasa and they went ahead.

Tsukasa: *pass the ball* Yoshi!

Kai: Okay!

Before he could grab it, Ching come out of nowhere and grab the ball.

"The ball get instantly stolen from Inazuma Japan!"

Ching: Is this all you've got?

He keep dribbling ahead as Lee and Juvina follow him from behind.

Homura: You won't past!

But Ching get past her easily.

Homura: Oh no!

Ching: Heh. *pass the ball* Lee!

Lee: *receive the ball* Right!

He keep moving forward as Haruki appear in front of him. He take a stance before running ahead and leaving some shadow clones and jumped.

Haruki: Wonder Trap!

He disappear and reappear as he steals the ball with sliding. Before he can do anything, Lee steal the ball from him.

Haruki: What?!

"Forward Lee instantly steals back the ball that Kazami stole before!"

Kaminari: They're also good in offense, huh? This is going to be hard.

Lee charge ahead. Kotaro and Kiba rush ahead to stop him but he get past them easily.

Nanae: Suiryuu-san!

Suiryuu(In mind): Why I'm in defense...?

Nanae: Suiryuu-san!

It cause Suiryuu to snapped but Lee already get past them.

Suiryuu: Crap!

Lee: *pass the ball* Captain!

Juvina jumped and get the ball. Nanae tried to stop her but she get past her. Juvina raise her right hand slowly as the ball floats and engulf in boiling water energy. She spins and kick the ball.

Juvina: Bubble Boil!

The ball dash toward the goalpost. Kirishima did get to act and the ball push him away as it went in.

"It's in! Great Marlin instantly score their first goal few minutes after the whistle was blown!"

(Inazuma Japan) 0 - 1 (Great Marlin)

Kiba: What was that shoot...

Kotaro: That shoot was fast...

Nanae: Suiryuu-san, why didn't you stop him before? You already have the chance!

Suiryuu: *look down* I-I'm sorry...

"Great Marlin is in the lead with 1-0 as the match resumes! The ball is now in Inazuma Japan's possession!"

Tsukasa: I never thought that they this good in offense.

Kai: If they good in defense, it makes sense if they good in attacking as well.

As the whistle blown, Kai pass the ball to Tsukasa as they run forward. They quickly get past Lee and Ching.

Lee: They finally attack.

Ching: Well, it still useless.

"Kishibe and Yoshi's passing are connected! They break through the forwards!"

As Juvina and two midfielders come block them, Tsukasa do a back pass. Kaminari grab the ball as he run ahead with Isamu and Homura.

Juvina: #9 and #11 are decoy?

Isamu and Homura take a running stance as they rush ahead. Kaminari put his fingers in his mouth as he whistle, causing five penguins burst out from the ground as he kick the ball.

Kaminari: Koutei Penguin...

The ball rush ahead as the penguins follow it. Isamu and Homura jumped as they spin and kick the ball.

Isamu/Homura: ...Niigo!

The ball engulf in yellow energy as the penguins burst along with the ball toward the goalpost. Great Marlin's goalkeeper, Zang, take a stance as his right hand engulf in water energy.

Zang: Tsunami Wall!

He punch the ground as a wave of water burst out and form a wall. The ball hits the water wall and stopped. The water wall disappear, Zang stump on the ball.

Zang: Is this all you've got?

Isamu: Tch!

Homura: Koutei Penguin Niigo doesn't work...?!

"Goalkeeper Zang stopped the shoot! Inazuma Japan's attack didn't work!"

Zang: Try shoot even stronger! *throw the ball* Captain!

Juvina jumped and grab the ball. She run forward but she blocked by Kaminari and Haruki.

Haruki: Don't get cocky!

Juvina: I'll get past you two before you know it!

She keep moving forward while keeping the ball. She get past Haruki but Kaminari keep blocking her path. After few moment, Kaminari steals the ball from Juvina.

Juvina: What?!

Kaminari keep running ahead until Lee and Ching appear as they a double sliding.

Lee/Ching: Don't think you get past us!

But Kaminari smile and jumped. He kick the ball to Tsukasa but one of the player heading the ball and it went out of bound.

Tsukasa: Damn it...

"The match resumes with Inazuma Japan's throw-in!"

Ching look around at the field before throwing the ball at Juvina. She grab and quickly head toward the defense line.

Nanae: Don't let them score the second time!

Kiba: Right!

Suiryuu(In mind): I need to focus in this match!

They head toward them. Juvina smile as she get past Kiba and Kotaro easily.

Kiba/Kotaro: Again?!

Juvina: That was too weak! That shouldn't called defense!

Nanae: You won't get past us!

Juvina: *smirk* Still too weak!

She turn around and kick the ball back. Lee jumped and grab the ball.

Suiryuu: When did he...?!

Lee: I'll score!

He kick the ball up as the background change into space. His right leg engulf with blue and yellow energy as he kick the ball.

Lee: Suisei Impact!

The ball engulf with blue and yellow energy and explode into red explosive energy that burst toward the goalpost. Kirishima raise his right leg as he slam down, and punch forward as a huge spinning fist appear.

Kirishima: Seigi no Tekken!

The fist hits the ball. He tries to punch the ball away but he get pushed back and the shoot break through and went into the goal.

"Another goal!! Great Marlin's striker Lee scored the second point! Inazuma Japan behind two-point diference!"

(Inazuma Japan) 0 - 2 (Great Marlin)

Kirishima: I couldn't block!

Lee: See? That's the difference between our abilities.

Kirishima: *look at Lee* Tch! I'll make you eat back that words! The match isn't over yet!

Lee: *walk away* Heh. It's not over for us, but it's already over for you guys.

He walk back to their field as Juvina went to him.

Juvina: Lee, you provoke another again?

Lee: What if I am?

Juvina: You should know the cause of this.

Lee: We're going to win anymore. It's already shown the difference between us and them.

Juvina just grit her teeth as they all went back to their position. She wanted to play like it supposed to be without trying to use tricks on opponent team.

"The match continues with Inazuma Japan's kickoff! Now they're two point behind, will they catch up in time?!"

Tsukasa: They're offense is so strong. I never expect that it'll be this hard against them.

Kai: Hey, did you feel something off? They should be the team with super defense and impregnable tactics.

Tsukasa: When you said it, yeah. All they do is attacking, but they didn't use any defense strategy.

Kai: Are they mocking us?

Tsukasa: All we can do now is attack. After all, we're the forwards while Endou is at the midfield, we have to do what we can now.

Kai: Heh. You sounds like Captain.

As the whistle blown, Kai pass the ball to Tsukasa as they run ahead. Lee and Ching went right in front of him.

Tsukasa: Damn it! *pass the ball* Yoshi!

The ball went to Yoshi and he grab it as one midfielder get in front of him. He holds the ball with his legs and jumped as he do acrobatic stunts.

Yoshi: Acrobat Keep!

He land next to the player and rush forward.

Juvina: Now!

She and five more players surround Yoshi making him stopped in his track as he look around. The players surrounded him in the form of hexsagon with one player each point.

Juvina: Hissatsu tactics!

GM Players: Hexsagon Lock!

Yoshi keep running forward but he get blocked. He keep trying to get out from the hexsagon while trying to keep the ball. After few moment, Carl take the chance and steal the ball.

Yoshi: What?!

Carl: There's no way you can escape from this hissatsu tactics! *kick the ball* Lee!

Lee jumps and grab the ball as he run forward again. Ching and Juvina follow him as they keep passing the ball as they get past Kaminari.

"Great Marlin's absolute defense! Their passing are connected as they keep moving up! Will they take another point from Inazuma Japan?!"

Haruki: We can't let them score again! Block them!

Homura: Yeah!

He and Homura run forward to stop them but they steal able to get through them while still passing the ball. Ching run ahead with the ball as Nanae appear in front of him.

Nanae: I'm not letting you score another point!

She do ice skating as she jumped and spins.

Nanae: Ice Ground!

She stumped the ground as Ching freezed into an ice and Nanae steals the ball. But in that instant, Juvina steals back the ball from her.

Nanae: No way!

"The ball that Yukimura steal was stolen back by Locks! She in the shoot position!"

Juvina raise her right hand slowly as the ball floats and engulf in boilding water energy. She spins and kick the ball.

Juvina: Bubble Boil!

The ball dash toward the goalpost. Kirishima raise his right leg as he slam down, and he punch forward as a huge spinning fist appear.

Kirishima: Seigi no Tekken!

The fist hit the ball. He struggle at first but he able to punch the ball away from the goal.

"Goalkeeper Akai stopped the shoot!"

Juvina: No way!

Kirishima: As long as there's time, we're giving up just because you guys have a hissatsu tactics!

The ball went flying toward Kaminari and he jumped to grab it. As he rush forward, he get trapped by Great Marlin's hissatsu tactics again.

Kaminari: Tch! Again?!

Lee: Hissatsu tactics!

GM Players: Hexsagon Lock!

"Great Marlin use their hissatsu tactics again! How will Inazuma Japan's Endou get out of this?!"

Kaminari(In mind): Hissatsu tactics that keep the opponent from attacking and steal the ball. They sure is strong as they said!

Juvina: Don't ever let #10 get past the defense!

GM Players: Right!

Kaminari(In mind): Keeping me from advancing, huh?

After few minutes of struggle, Kaminari look at the side and saw Kai running up. He take the chance and kick the ball toward him but the players use their leg to stop the ball.

Kaminari: What?!

"Endou's pass was stopped! Great Marlin's hissatsu tactics are too strong defense!"

Ching: Hexsagon Lock is an invincible hissatsu tactics! No one can break through this tactics! *kick the ball* Lee!

Instead of normal pass, it's more like a shoot. The ball get past the midfielders and went toward Lee who is close to the defense line. Juvina is already marked by Nanae.

Suiryuu/Kiba: I won't let you shoot!

They tried to block Lee but they ended up collide with each other making them fall at each sides.

Kiba: What was that for?!

Suiryuu: Sorry, I didn't saw you there!

Lee: Too slow!

He kick the ball in the air as the background change into space. His right leg engulf with blue and yellow energy as he kick the ball.

Lee: Suisei Impact!

The ball engulf in blue and yellow energy and explode as the ball burst with explosive energy.

Kirishima: I'll stop it!

Juvina quickly get away from Nanae as she gets near the ball.

Nanae: When did she...?!

Juvina: This is our shoot chain!

Shee raise her right hand slowly as the ball floats and engulf in boilding water energy. She spins and kick the ball.

Juvina: Bubble Boil!

The ball burst with explosive and boilding water energy toward the goalpost.

"It's a shoot chain! The ball gets even more power than before!"

Kirishima raise his right leg as he slam down, and punch forward as a huge spinning fist appear.

Kirishima: Seigi no Tekken!

The fist hits the ball but it just keep pushing him back while still struggling.

Kirishima(In mind): This shoot is even stronger!

After a moment, the ball break through and went toward the goal.

Kirishima(In mind): I couldn't block it! We'll lose another point!

Kotaro: Leave this to me!

He stand right between the line of the goal and the ball.

Kotaro(In mind): Captain entrust me with this technique!

He shout as a huge hand appear on top of him and form into fist.

Kotaro: Megaton Head!

The fist hits the ball and he struggles to stop the ball from getting into the goal. He keep pushing and shout showing he won't give up.
