After the exhibition match, Inazuma Japan determined to get even better and practice to prepare for the main world tournament. They will also get some additional players for their team. Inazuma Japan players return to Odaiba Soccer Garden after they have some break from the match. Hakuryuu and Kariya called them all to the briefing room to give some news as they take a seat.

Kaminari: After we were beaten badly, you didn't say a word. You better have good news for us today, Coach.

Suiryuu: Hey, Captain!

Kai: I never that only Captain didn't show any fear...

Tsukasa: Well, that what makes him, Endou Kaminari.

Harukyuu: As you wish, I and Kariya do have a good news.

Kariya: We did say that we'll find some reserve players before the main tournament, right? We already found the perfect candidates for this stuff.

It makes the others suprised as they look at each other and the girl are smiling.

Homura: Really, Coach?

Nanae: Hooray!

Hakuryuu: Don't get too happy. Even if we have reserve members now, it doesn't guarantee that you'll get along that easy. Teamwork and get along are two different things.

Haruki: Then, who are these players?

Hakuryuu: *smirk* I'll tell you guys, but you'll meet them tomorrow. I already told Kariya to sent the mails to them.

Kariya: They going to get really excited when they found out they get scouted by us.

Kaminari: Well, at least we know who they are before they get here. They be better useful to the team.

At Raimon Jr. High...

In the soccer clubroom...

All of them gather in the clubroom and watch the match between Shinsei Inazuma Japan against Inazuma Legend Japan.

Kaiji: The match are really one-sided. Captain's team didn't stand a chance against them.

Ushio: So those are Souls?

Higashi: That's right. Since Souls does living inside some certain people, Souls are allowed in the FFI tournament.

Ren: *sigh* I really wanted to run on the field...

Shinji: Then go run on the field.

Ren: Not our field...

Gento: You know it's impossible. You didn't get chosen as the members in Inazuma Japan.

Ren: My luck is sucks...

Enji: We all can feel the same.

???: Everyone.

They all turn around and saw Shinsuke comes in as he have two letters in his right hand.

Asuma: Trainer Shinsuke.

Shinsuke: Ren, Shinji, there's a mail for both of you.

Shinji: For us?

Both of them look at each other before standing up and went to Shinsuke as they take the letters. They open it and take a look at them.

Ren: It's from the Japan Branch Youth Soccer Association's chairman.

Shinji: Which means it from Gouenji-san, right? Why did he sent us these letters?

As they keep reading the letters, both of them shout in suprise making the others stand up.

Kaiji: Hey, what's wrong?!

Ren: W-We... we...!

Shinji: We got chosen to be the reserve players for Inazuma Japan!

Raimon Players: Ehhh?! That's amazing! And unfair!

Ren: My luck isn't sucks anymore! I get selected! Yahoo!

Shinji: We still have chance!

At Kidokawa Seishuu...

At the soccer field...

Kishibe came to the field while the team are practicing. He called Kiroto and Sasagi to him. He gave them the mail that he get for them and they suprised as they read the letters making others went to them.

Kiroto: I get selected!

Sasagi: M-Me too!

Yukino: Wow!

Izawa: Congratulation, Captain, Junya-san!

Kiroto: Get the chance to play in the world stage, huh? This is really the great chance!

Sasagi: Is that okay, Kiroto? Are you body already fully healed?

Kiroto: You can say like that. My body and heart gets better almost everyday. There's no way I'm going to let go of this chance, able to run on the field with Tsukasa again.

Sasagi: I understand your feelings! I felt the same!

Kishibe: Congratulation, you two. Make sure you give the help you can to Inazuma Japan.

Kiroto/Sasagi: Yes, sir!

Kishibe: Good luck, you two.

Kiroto: We won't let you, Trainer Kishibe.

Sasagi: I'll help them protect the goal with everything I've got!

At St. Sakura Academy...

All of the girls look at her after Nami read the letter that Sakura gave her.

Nami: I-I-I get s-s-selected as a r-r-reserve players i-i-in Inazuma Japan?!

Yue: Seriously?!

Himoko: No way! You're way too lucky!

Sera: Wait, aren't your brother is the captain of Inazuma Japan? Did you ask him to put you in the team?

Nami: There's no way Nii-chan would do that. He only see those who have skills, also it's not players the one that can chose. It's their coach and trainer.

Risa: Forget about those. Now, you're a member in Inazuma Japan. Make sure you make your brother proud since you want him to see you get better!

Nami: Y-Yes! I'll do my best!

Risa: Don't work yourself too hard!

At Aramuko Academy...

Todoroki: After all this time... I finally get my chance to play in the world stage!!

After he read the letter that Taiyou gave him, he become absolutely excited with stars at his eyes and huge smile making others felt weird.

Kabeyu: *sweatdrop* It's really worried seeing Captain like this.

Shizo/Asakura: *sweatdrop* Yeah, that's true...

Tazuma: But Captain... aren't that Endou Kaminari is the team captain? You won't be the captain, also you're a reserve player.

Todoroki: I don't care.

Tazuma: Huh?

Todoroki: All I care is that I can play in the world stage, that's all. I want to challenge the world as well! This dream is finally come true!

Kabeyu: Coach, is this really okay?

Taiyou: As long as he's happy, that's fine. After all, Shou-kun have been dreaming to play in the world tournament.

Asakura: Well, let's just feel happy for him.

Tazuma: We'll be cheering you, Captain. Good luck in the world tournament.

Todoroki: Yeah! I'll show my skill and shines! Ahahahahahaha!!

Kabeyu/Shizo/Asakura: *sweatdrop* He really too fired up...

At Zero Training Facility...

The players are doing some special training. Just like Dragonlink, Zero are a special soccer team that still recommended by the youth soccer association to train many talented soccer players so they get scouted by the pro leagues. Unlike other teams, Zero and Dragonlink trained in almost many special facilities. While the players are practicing, one of them are called to the coach office. As the door knocked, the person came in.

"So you came. It's not that usual for you to not to continue training."

???: When Coach called, you have to respond. But that doesn't mean I have to follow all of it.

"A person from a famous swordsmen family would be an excellent soccer player."

???: Unfortunately, our team lose at the quarterfinals against Dragonlink. So, hurry up and spit it out. What do you want?

"You're a hard person to talk with. By the way, here."

The Coach a letter on his table in front of the person as the boy take it.

???: What is this?

"Something that will change your life from now on."

The boy open the letter and read making his eyes widen with suprise.

???: Th-This is...

"That's right. You have been chosen to be a reserve players in Inazuma Japan, congratulation. Good luck in the world tournament..."

The light slowly shows the face of the boy.

"Kusanagi Kenjito."

(Next Day)

After all the players that chosen to be the reserve players and given Inazuma Japan's tracksuit, they went to Odaiba Soccer Garden where the training camp for Inazuma Japan. Ren and Shinji are the one arrived first.

Ren: So this is where Inazuma Japan train, huh? *gulp* I'm really nervous right now...

Shinji: *trembling* There's no need to feel nervous...! I'm not nervous at all!

Ren: Shinji-senpai, you're trembling really hard!

Todoroki: Ho? There's still players from Raimon are chosen, huh?

They turn around and saw Todoroki with his smug face.

Ren: Shou Todoroki!

Shinji: So you get scouted as well, huh?

Todoroki: That's right. It's look like we're in the same team now. *smirk* Nice to be teaming up with you.

Ren and Shinji could feel the tense. Todoroki's attitube is close to Kaminari's, except for the easy excited and not so harsh part.

Nami: Hey!

They look to the right and saw Nami running toward them and she stop near them as she panting and wipe her forehead.

Nami: Thank goodness, I'm not the last!

Ren: Nami, what are you doing here?

Nami: It's obvious! I get scouted to be a reserve player in Inazuma Japan! I guess I get lucky, teehee!

Shinji: *sweatdrop* This isn't time for acting cute...

Kiroto: You guys are here, huh?

They turn to the left and saw Kiroto with Sasagi.

Kiroto: Meeting with fellow reserve players are really pleasured.

Sasagi: I never expected that Inazuma Japan would chose members like you guys. But I'm not suprised as well.

Ren: Kidokawa's Minato and Junya, huh?

Shinji: All players that were chosen are attackers. Just what is Inazuma Japan's coach thinking?

Kenjito: He's doing this for the team. Well, it's just for the team, not for the members.

They all look to the front and saw the boy from Zero's training facility. He's leaning at the pole while just glare at them instead of normal look.

Kenjito: This isn't about just winning, our pride on stake.

Kiroto: You're... Kusanagi Kenjito!

Ren: Who is he?

Sasagi: I heard about him. Zero's strongest defender, and excellent with counter. Thanks for him, Zero rarely lose points.

Shinji: But due his solo act and personal decision, he never work out with his teammates causing Zero lost to Dragonlink.

Kenjito glare at Shinji but doesn't seem care about it. After the conversion, they all went to the training camp. As they arrived there, they greet by Kariya.

Kariya: It's look like you're all here. I'm this team trainer, Kariya Masaki. Nice to meet you all.

Players(Except Kenjito): Nice to meet you too!

Kariya: Everyone is at the stadium. Change to your jersey and go to the stadium.

They all did what Kariya told them. They went to the locker room and change into their player jersey as they went to the stadium.

Position: Midfielder / Defender

Detail:
He's a first year. His hair are now a bit longer with some strand cover his right eye but still have the ponytail style, and aqua eyes. Ren's a fast runner and able to react in fast movement. He's nice and caring toward his friends and family. Unlike others, he is currently the fastest player in Japan. Riko always over protective on him even though he can take care of himself.

(Amemiya Shinji)

Position: Forward / Midfielder

Detail:
He's a third year. He has orange hair but it become a bit shorter, and blue eyes as he change his goggles from his forehead, and hang it at his neck. Shinji's hardly depend on others but he always good in adapting with change teammates. He hardly admire anyone due his own decision to get better by himself but he can easily get nervous when it comes to new place or new team.

(Shou Todoroki)

Detail:
He's a second year. He has jet-black spiky hair with white flare like style at the left side, and dark blue eyes. Todoroki's can get very excited easily when things gets even better or even higher than he expect. He hardly show any weakness due he don't want to see being a weak person. He keep pushing himself to break his limit in order to keep with those who are better than him.

(Minato Kiroto)

Position: Forward / Midfielder

Detail:
He's a third year. He has dark bluish-black spiky hair with longer strand at left and right side of his face, and black eyes. Kiroto's very good when it comes to leadership, but cannot move too much even his body are far better than his condition before. He has a good term with almost anyone since he also can stop some people from argueing. Instead of underestimate others, he acknowledge those who have true skills and could get along with new teammates.

(Kusanagi Kenjito)

Position: Defender

Detail:
He's a second year. He has long black hair that tied in long spiky ponytail, and brown eyes. Kenjito's hardly trust others because he always wanted to get even better than anyone. He came from a swordsmen family but more interested in soccer than sword fight. Some of the family members pressured him to get back with swords, but he just ignore them and continue play with soccer. He wanted his father to acknowledge his skills but his father never show any respond at all when he talk about soccer.

(Endou Nami)

Position: Midfielder / Defender

Detail:
She's a first year. He has long reddish-brown hair with two hair clips at the left side, and red eyes. Nami's very cheerful and caring for her friends and family. Unlike others, Kaminari is the only one that show soft spot to her. Unlike most players, Nami have very high agility, endurance and stamina than others. She can keep up and adapt with changing situation and have the better teamwork than anyone when she play along with Kaminari.

Position: Goalkeeper

Detail:
He's a third year. He has black hair tied in shaggy ponytail, and dark green eyes. Sasagi's just like Saginuma, like to make the opponent players to entertain him even more and shoot even stronger. Most people hardly laugh when he make jokes because his jokes are one of the worst. He keep changing his way in order to adapt in the games so he can keep up with the others progress. But he's good in baking breads, cakes and buns making others like his foods.

At the Seaside Stadium...

As they reach the door, Kariya press the button and the wall and the door open. As the door opened, it shows the main players of Inazuma Japan are practicing while Hakuryuu watch them from the sidelines. Then Hakuryuu turn around to look at them.

Hakuryuu: It's look like you're all here.

Kariya: I'm sure that you know him already, but let me introduce him again. This is coach of Inazuma Japan, Hakuryuu.

R-Players: Nice to meet you, Coach Hakuryuu.

Hakuryuu: Right, me too. All I wanted to say is that you need to keep up with the main players and show good results. Only the excellent players are acknowledged in this time. Show good play in the game in the main tournament.

R-Players: Yes, sir!

Hakuryuu: Now then... *turn around* You guys! Stop training for now, and come here!

Riko blows the whistle as Asuka wave at them. The players stop practicing and they went to the sides. Hakuryuu introduce the main players and the reserve players as they greet each other before they casually talk with each other.

Tsukasa: It's been a while, Minato-senpai, Sasagi-senpai.

Kiroto: Yeah.

Sasagi: I suprised myself that I was chosen to be a player in Inazuma Japan.

Kiroto: It's look like we have to keep up with you now. Your player level is higher than us.

Sasagi: That's right.

Tsukasa: Haha. Looks like it.

Ren: I watched the whole preliminaries matches, you guys are amazing!

Shinji: Like Ren said.

Homura: Thanks!

Suiryuu: Well, thanks to Captain for leading us. Coach Hakuryuu and Trainer Kariya gives us the proper training for us.

Homura: We even have a Black Room here!

Ren/Shinji: No way...!

While they're talking to each other, Kenjito just stay away from the team. Todoroki and Isamu glare at each other before slam their forehead together.

Todoroki: It's been a long time, Katsuragi!

Isamu: You too, Todoroki! No, traitor!

Todoroki: Tch! I'm no traitor, I just transfer to Arakumo Academy and got the opportunity to become a captain!

Isamu: Who cares! You betrayed Gassan Kunimitsu and run away!

Todoroki: I didn't run away! I transfer to get even stronger!

They keep glaring each other while trying to push each other with their forehead. Nami feeling nervous while Kaminari keep looking at her.

Nami: *nervous smile* N-Nice to see you, N-Nii-chan!

Kaminari: If you're here, then Coach sees talents in you. Make sure you able to keep up with everyone.

Nami: R-Right, I'll do my best!

Kaminari: We'll see about that.

Nami: I'll make sure I catch up with you!

After all the greeting, they continue with the practice while the reserve players watches the main players train.

After the practice and observing, the players went to the cafeteria after taking a shower and change into their team tracksuit.

Kamata: Now, eat and make sure yourself full!

Players: Right! Itadakimasu!

They eating their dinner while talking with each other. Kenjito sits alone from them because he didn't seems to be want to get along with them. As always, Nami sits together with Kaminari.

Nami: Nii-chan, I'll do my best so I can keep up with you and other main players!

Kaminari: Then don't do you best, do what you definitely can.

Nami: Right!

Ren: I'm the fastest player in Japan, and now I get the chance to be the fastest player in the world!

Shinji: Don't excited too much. We haven't play yet.

Ren: I-I see...

Sasagi: Adversity is naught but the greatest opportunity to improve yourself! Once you've overcome it, it awakens the power of the soul that's hidden deep inside you!

Kiroto: Optimistic as always... huh?

(Next Day)

Everyone are called to the stadium. Hakuryuu decided to make a contest between the main players and reserve players. It's an seven-on-seven contest.

Kariya: This contest will be seven-on-seven. The time will be 30 minutes, and the team that win the most points wins.

Players: Yes, sir!

Kariya: If you want to use hissatsu technique, that's fine.

The main players that will fight against the reserve players will be Kaminari, Tsukasa, Suiryuu, Homura, Isamu, Haruki and Kirishima. The others sits at the bench but Kai really feeling down.

Kai: While I didn't play...

Kiba: Don't mind, we didn't get to play too...

The players went to the field and ready for the contest. Kariya will be the referee and look at the teams before hold up the whistle with the ball is in the reserve players' possession.

Kariya: Now, let the contest begin.

He blow the whistle. Kiroto pass the ball to Todoroki as they rush ahead but Tsukasa instantly steals the ball.

Todoroki: What?!

Tsukasa: We won't show any mercy even this is a contest, Endou's order!

Then Kiroto quickly went in front of Tsukasa while trying to steal the ball.

Kiroto: Didn't show any opening as well!

Tsukasa: Even in this contest, I won't lose!

In few moments, Tsukasa get past Kiroto and rush ahead. Ren and Shinji rush toward him but Tsukasa able to get past them easily.

Ren: N-No way!

Shinji: He get past us that easy!

He keep running ahead but he get blocked by Nami who tried to steal the ball from him. Suddenly, Kenjito is running toward him.

Kenjito: Got you!

He do a sliding but Tsukasa smirk as he jump while keeping the ball.

Nami/Kenjito: What?!

Tsukasa: You aim too much on me, and didn't think of others! *pass the ball* Endou!

Kaminari: *receive the ball* Okay!

His path is clear as he look at the goal. Kaminari kick the ball and it went right in before Sasagi could grab it.

(Main Players) 1 - 0 (Reserve Players)

They keep doing shoot and block even if this a contest. Even in this contest, the reserve players barely able to keep up with the main players. Todoroki have the ball as he rush ahead.

Todoroki: Here I go!

He kick the ball with the back of his leg into air. He surrounds with purple flames as he jumped and rotates in the air.

Todoroki: Dark Tornado!

He kick the ball as it engulf in purple flames and head toward the goal. Kirishima put his fingers in his mouth and whistle as five red penguins come from the sky. He raise his right hand as the penguins bite at his wrist. He pull back as sparks to small explosion occured.

Kirishima: Penguin The Hand!

He push his hand forward as he block he ball. After a moment, the ball stops as Kirishima caught it.

Kirishima: Heh. This shoot is too easy for me to stop it!

Todoroki: Tch!

Now, Kaminari has the ball as he run forward. Ren and Shinji run at him to block him but Kaminari smirk as he back pass the ball and Suiryuu grab it.

Suiryuu: Here I come!

He spins the ball as he shout as he and the ball floats into the air and thunder sound can be heard. The ball engulf in golden wind energy.

Suiryuu: Shining Hurricane!

He kick the ball as it burst toward the goal. Suddenly, Nanae rush ahead and get near the ball.

Sasagi: What?!

Nanae do two slash kick as blizzard occured. Two red eyes shown as it shows a snow panther and the ball engulf in ice cude and blizzard energy.

Nanae: Panther Blizzard!

The ball burst toward the goal with more power.

Nami: Shoot chain?!

Sasagi clench his fist as it glows in blue. He put back before punch forward as a huge holographic drill appear.

Sasagi: Drill Smasher!

The drill hits the ball but he get pushed back hard until it breaks through and went it.

(Main Players) 2 - 0 (Reserve Players)

They keep up the game until they finish until the end of the contest. In the very end, main players won the contest with 4 - 0. Reserve players panting heavily because they too tired and hardly able to move now.

Nami: I'm tired...

Ren: They are far more better than us...

Kiroto: Don't even think that we can keep up, we hardly able play...

Sasagi: They all have amazing play...

After that, the reserve players know that the main players' ability are even higher than them. They train in the whole two weeks before the main tournament starts and the game to decides the team that will be the number one in the soccer world.
