It's been five months since the Soccer Festival tournament is over. Raimon won in the end and beat the last year champion, Kidokawa Seishuu. Despite that, everyone is even more exciting because the event that some of them waiting for is close.

At Raimon soccer field...

The team are practicing like they usually do. Asuma kick the ball toward the goalpost and Higashi caught it. Suiryuu and Kaiji are dribbling the ball while Shun and Shin are trying to block them. Ren, Homura and Ushio are doing some running, and of course, Ren always the fastest. Enji, Gento and Shinji are doing some ball kicking. Kaminari and Yuuya are watching them from the bench.

Kaminari: Everyone sure are exciting.

Yuuya: Everyone keep thinking about what will happen next year even thought we just won the Soccer Festival five months ago.

Kaminari: Well, at least our seniors satisfied with the winning their last Soccer Festival.

Yuuya: The graduate from junior high this year. We second year will graduate as well. And we'll left those first years.

Kaminari: Yeah.

Yuuya: Which one of them you think should be the captain after you?

Kaminari: You shouldn't ask that now. I'm still thinking about it.

Higashi: *from distance* Hey, what are you two doing? It's practice time!

Kaminari: Fine, fine, we'll come later. *turn to Yuuya* Let's go before Higashi went crazy.

Yuuya: Yeah.

Both of them stand up and went to the field until Asuka and Riko come.

Asuka: Guys!

All players turn to them.

Riko: Coach have a news for us! Come to the clubroom!

Kaminari: Why? Is Coach need us or something?

Asuka: I don't know. But let's just go to the clubroom.

Raimon Players: Okay!

At Raimon soccer clubroom...

All players, still in their jersey, went to their seat as Tenma and Shinsuke stand at the small stage with smile in their face.

Kaminari: Coach Tenma, Trainer Shinsuke, why did you call us here?

Shinsuke: Actually, we have a huge news for you guys.

Ren: What kind of news?

Tenma: The Football Frontier International or FFI are nearing.

Kaminari: Football Frontier International? The world tournament?

Tenma: That's right!

Homura: The soccer world tournament?! That even more exciting than nationals?!

Ren: It's close already?!

Shinsuke: That's right. The world tournament are closing in.

Raimon Players: No way!

Asuka: Um, excuse me. What is the Football Frontier International?

Riko: You don't know?

Asuka: Not at all.

Riko: Like Coach and Trainer said, Football Frontier International are the world tournament. Every country around the world with soccer team will get chances to join in the tournament. In the past, Uncle Ichirouta was part of Inazuma Japan.

Asuka: Your uncle?!

Riko: Yeah!

Asuka: That's amazing!

Ren: It's really bring back memories when we watch the past FFI matches!

Higashi: Since the FFI are nearing, does that mean the selection for the new Inazuma Japan is close, right?

Tenma: That's right. The selection is about two weeks from now. The school around the country was noticed.

Shinsuke: When I and Tenma join the meeting about the world tournament, it seems that the best school from each prelims and the nationals will be chosen. Of course, team Dragonlink and Zero will be there as well.

Shinji: Dragonlink and Zero, huh? If I remember, their the team that was organized by the Fifth Sector. But then, they become recommend team by the youth soccer association.

Gento: Don't say like that. Don't you forget that Suiryuu's brother is the captain of the first Zero?

Suiryuu: *look down* Please don't make remember the mistake he make in the past...

Shinji: Oh, sorry...

Tenma: We're the champion team, there will be players chosen from our team as well.

Shinsuke: But it only depends on the coach of this year Inazuma Japan.

Kaminari: At least it won't be the Inazuma Japan that was few years ago. Three tops and nine complete amatuers.

It makes Tenma flinched as a bead of sweat appear at the side of his head as Shinsuke close his mouth, trying to hold himself from laughing.

Kaminari: At least, Ibuki-san is good in sports, but thanks to him Teikoku get a free kick.

Tenma: Please don't mention any of that again. *snapped* I hope that you'll become the captain.

Kaminari: No! Anything but that!

Homura: Senpai is the best one to be the captain!

Ren: Yeah!

Kaminari: *irritated* I never should be the captain at the first place!

(Time Skip)

At Endou's House...

Kaminari: I'm home...

Nami: Oh, Nii-chan! Welcome home!

Kaminari: Yeah...

He take off his shoes and put them at the shelf as he walk in. He walk to the living room with Nami and saw Endou is watching the news while Natsumi at the kitchen side.

Natsumi: Welcome home, Kaminari.

Kaminari: Right...

Endou: The selection for the Inazuma Japan is in two weeks, right? *glance back* Make sure that you'll be in the time.

Kaminari: I never intend to be in the team!

Nami: Well, only the chosen team in the nationals and didn't past the prelims will get the chance. Raimon won the Soccer Festival, of course they'll some from the team that will be chosen because you guys are the champion team after all.

Kaminari: I just hope that I won't become the captain...

Natsumi: Now, now, Kaminari, go and take wash yourself. And then we'll eat dinner together.

Then Endou, Nami and Kaminari's face went pale when Natsumi mention about dinner.

Kaminari: *whisper* Old man...

Nami: *whisper* Dad...

Endou: *whisper* Just bear it. It'll be good if you think it's good, and it'll work somehow.

Kaminari/Nami: Nooooooo!!

Natsumi: Eh? What's wrong?

Kaminari/Nami: *fake smile* Nothing...

Natsumi: Oh, thank goodness. I thought you two don't like my cooking so I was worried.

Kaminari/Nami(In mind): We really hate it!

Two Weeks Later...

At Soccer Festival Stadium...

The whole stadium filled with people because they wanted to see who'll be representing Japan in the new Inazuma Japan. 16 chosen soccer team along with Dragonlink and Zero were there for the selection of the members.

Keita: "Welcome everyone! The world tournament for youth soccer, Football Frontier International, otherwise known as FFI Vision 3 is ready to open, and here at Soccer Festival Stadium, the members of New Inazuma Japan are about to be announced! I, Kakuma Keita, and Matsui Yasujiro-san are witnessing it as well!"

Yasujiro: "A New Inazuma Japan, huh? I wonder will the members of this year."

Some players on the field are really nervous about this. Not all of them are going to be picked so the atmosphere is really tense.

Kaminari: The world tournament, huh? I hope I didn't become the captain...

Tsukasa: You're think too much on yourself.

Then Kaminari look at the side and saw Tsukasa. All captain of the team always stand at the front.

Kaminari: Kishibe, huh? Where's Minato?

Tsukasa: Minato-senpai won't he joining us because of his health, so I'm the current captain of Kidokawa.

Kaminari: I see.

Homura shiver while she rubbing her right hand as she breath slowly.

Ren: What's wrong, Homura?

Suiryuu: You don't look so well.

Homura: I'm just nervous. After all, this is the selection for Inazuma Japan.

Ren: Then you should be excited!

Suiryuu: Yeah.

Homura: O-Okay, I-I'll try.

Kaminari: *glance back* You guys quiet. The ceremony is about to start.

Homura: A-Ah, I'm sorry.

As the door at the stand opened, it shows a familiar face. He's wearing white-red-sleeveless jacket with light red long sleeve shirt, long grey-white pants and red shoes. The person is no other than Hakuryuu, the ex-captain of Team Zero in the past. Standing beside him is the trainer of Inazuma Japan, Kariya Masaki. He's appearance still the same. He's usually seen wearing greenish-blue suit.

Keita: "Now, time to introduce you! The man who will take up the position of Inazuma Japan's coach, Coach Hakuryuu!"

Suiryuu: Eh? Haku-nii is the coach?!

On the stand, Hakuryuu smirked as he speaks.

Hakuryuu: "I am Inazuma Japan's coach, Hakuryuu. You have been gathered at this field because you possess the power suitable for candidacy. However... Out of this group, only eleven of you will be chosen as Japan's representatives."

It makes the players suprised as they look at the each other.

Shun: Just eleven?

Shin: That's all?

Gento: I'm even more nervous now!

Then Hakuryuu continues.

Hakuryuu: "I will now announce the members of New Inazuma Japan for FFI Vision 3."

The players gets both excited and nervous about the selection.

Hakuryuu: "And now... Inazuma Japan's captain! Endou Kaminari!"

"Gouenji Homura!"

"Suiryuu!"

"Kishibe Tsukasa!"

"Yukimura Nanae!"

"Okami Kiba!"

"Arashi Kotaro!"

"Katsuragi Isamu!"

"Kazami Haruki!"

"Yoshi Kai!"

"Akai Kirishima! Those are the eleven."

The other players that didn't get picked felt really down. Some of the Raimon players felt really down because only three members was chosen.

Kariya: "All the members that was announced, please step forward."

All the players that was announced steps forward and stand in one line from the left to the right.

Kaminari: *sigh* I'm a captain again...

Tsukasa: Just bear it.

Suiryuu(In mind): Haku-nii pick me for the New Inazuma Japan, I can't let him down.

Keita: "Take a good look, everyone! They are the pride of our country, Shinsei Inazuma Japan!"

The crowd cheer normally while looking at the selected members.

(Stands)

"So this the New Inazuma Japan, huh?"

"Most of them are striker and captain of their team."

"Why did he pick that rough player from Gassan Kunimitsu?"

"Hey, aren't that player from Teikoku is the only selfish player in the team?"

"I wonder how will they play with most players are more to offensive."

(Commentor Room)

Matsui: "A majority of these players have appear to have many previous game data."

Keita: "Yes. What do you think of this, Matsui-san?"

Matsui: "Coach Hakuryuu is one of the youngest coach ever who well known for his achievements overseas, has selected these players. And most of them are captain to their team and forwards!"

(Field)

Hakuryuu: "All eleven of you have the duty of aiming for the world. Is that understood?"

Japan Players: Yes, sir!

Hakuryuu: "Now show me your abilities. We will hold an exhibition match."

Kaminari: Eh? Already?

Hakuryuu: "The match will be start in ten minutes. So players, get ready!"

(Time Skip)

(Locker Room)

The players are prepare themselves as they wear their jersey. The new Inazuma Japan's jersey is short sleeve shirt and blue-white color as base and a lightning symbol at the left side with yellow highlight and the shorts is blue. For goalkeeper, the jersey is long sleeves shirt and dark blue-green color as base and a lightning symbol at the left side with orange highlights and the shorts is dark green. The captain armband is colored yellow.

Kaminari: I never expected that I'll be the captain again.

Suiryuu: Just bear it, Captain.

Kirishima: Being a member in the representative... this is the greatest day in my life.

Haruki: Fighting in the same stage with you guys, huh? Yesterday is enemy, today is ally.

Kai: Just play with your own style. I'm playing with my own.

Kirishima: Again with that?

Isamu: Don't think you can order me around just because you're the captain.

Both of them leave the locker room while the others still there.

Haruki: *look at Kaminari* I'm listening to your orders, since you are the captain.

Kiba: Since Nanae listen to you, I'll be listening to you.

Kotaro: M-Me too...

After the players change into their player jersey, they went to the field.

Keita: "With Inazuma Japan players have prepared themselves, it's time for their opponent to make their appearance!"

At the hallway, a familiar team come out and stand next to Inazuma Japan.

Keita: "Their opponent in this exhibition match is... Senbayama Eleven!"

Kaminari: Senbayama, huh?

Homura: The team we fought before.

Suiryuu: They won't be the same as before.

Both team went to the field and went to their position. Inazuma Japan plays with 3-4-3 formation, the offensive formation.

Keita: "The exhibition match of the New Inazuma Japan selection... Inazuma Japan versus Senbayama Eleven! This is the best chance to see the abilities of the New Inazuma Japan!"

(Stands)

Ren: *sigh* I can't believe that I didn't get pick in Inazuma Japan...

Riko: Just forget about it. The others are feeling down as well.

Asuka: I hope they have a good teamwork.

Ushio: At least they still have Keshin users in the team. And they can use Keshin Armed as well!

Higashi: Well, in the FFI, which means the world tournament, Keshin and Keshin Armed are prohibited. They aren't allowed to be used.

Ushio: Eh? Why?

Yuuya: It's in order to make the game even more fair. Unlike others, most country don't have Keshin user so it might going to make the fight harder if they allowed those who have can use their Keshin. So they make rules that Keshin and Keshin Armed aren't allowed in the world tournament.

Ushio: Well, that's a shame.

Shinji: It can't be helped.

Kaiji: Even if they can't use Keshin or Keshin Armed, they still stronger like always.

(Field)

Senbayama team are preparing themselves to fight with the selected members of the New Inazuma Japan.

Makoto: This is going to be fun.

Taru: Yeah. Able to fight with the representative team of our country.

Kasumi: Fighting the Japan's strongest members in this exhibition match is an honor. Now, you guys, don't even think about holding back!

Senbayama Players: Yeah!

The referee blow the whistle as the match starts with Kaminari pass the ball to Tsukasa.

Keita: "Now, the match between New Inazuma Japan against Senbayama has started!"

Taru: You won't past!

Kaminari: *pass the ball* Kishibe!

Before Tsukasa can grab the ball, Kai come out of the nowhere and grab the ball instead.

Tsukasa: What?!

Keita: "What? Yoshi steals the ball from his own teammate?!"

Kaminari: What are you doing?!

Kai: Like I said, I won't take orders from anyone!

Keita: "Yoshi went ahead all by himself! His teammates are calling for him but he didn't even listen to them!"

Kai keep going forward by himself and able to get past the other players as he gets close to the defense line.

Kai: This is easy!

He put his fingers at his mouth and whistle. Seven color penguins appear and entered the ball and it engulf in rainbow energy.

Kai: Koutei Penguin 7!

He kick the ball as the penguins comes out and flying/swimming along with the ball. Kasumi's right hand glows in bright orange energy as he jumped up and dive down.

Kasumi: Atomic Smash V2!

He slam his fist at the ball and it slam hard on the ground.

Kai: What?!

Keita: "Goalkeeper Kasumi blocks the shoot! Yoshi didn't scored!"

Kai: Tch!

Kasumi: Counterattack! *kick the ball* Go!

He kick the ball into the air as one of Senbayama's midfielder jumped and heading it toward the forwards. Taru grab it as he look at Makoto and they both nodded. Makoto's right leg engulf in flames as both of them jumped. Taru put his right leg at the ball as Makoto slam his right leg with flames at the ball.

Taru: Hinawa...

Makoto: ...Bullet!

The ball burst toward the goalpost. Kirishima tried to react the ball already went into the goal.

Keita: "Goal!! The first one to score is Senbayama!"

(Inazuma Japan) 0 - 1 (Senbayama)

Kirishima: No way... *look forward* This is Senbayama...

Kiba: Hey, why didn't you try to block that shoot?!

Kirishima: How about you?! Your defense doesn't even move!

Kiba: I'm originally a forward!

Nanae: This isn't the fitting time for us to fight!

Keita: "The match resumes with Inazuma Japan's kickoff. How will they fight now?!"

As the whistle blown, Tsukasa pass the ball to Kaminari as they move up. Kaminari look at the side and saw Tsukasa and Kai already been marked. He glance back and saw the others are free.

Kaminari: *back pass* Suiryuu!

Suiryuu: *receive the ball* Right!

He look around to look for anyone to pass. He saw Homura not far from him and pass the ball to her but Isamu grab the ball instead.

Homura: Hey!

Isamu: Thanks!

Keita: "This time Katsuragi grab the ball from his own teammate!"

Homura: Hey, what are you doing?!

Isamu: It's obvious. I'm scoring the goal!

He stump the ball into the ground and the ball explode back out as it engulf with lava and lightning energy as he jumped.

Isamu: Kazanrai!

He kick the ball hard and head toward the goalpost. Kasumi fold his hands at his chest as Kozu and Harui take their stance as barrage of steel walls come out.

Kozu/Harui: Mugen no Kabe!

The ball hits the ball and it stops as it fall onto the ground.

Keita: "They stopped it! Senbayama's Mugen no Kabe stops the strong shoot!"

Isamu: Damn it!

As Kasumi kick the ball forward. The players are clashing for the ball but Inazuma Japan almost no sense of teamworks at all. Makoto and Taru run toward the defense line. Nanae, Kiba and Kotaro ran to stop them. They able to get past Nanae and Kiba then Kotaro as he end up fall on the ground.

Nanae: A-Are you okay?

Kotaro: Y-Yes... Sorry, I never play in a real match because I just joined Dragonlink five days ago...

Kiba: You're kidding!

Due their defense is weak, Senbayama obtain another goal. As the match continues, Inazuma Japan tried to do some offensive but because of Kai and Isamu's arrogantness and Kotaro's late reaction, Senbayama able to do many offensive.

(Inazuma Japan) 0 - 5 (Senbayama)

Keita: "Senbayama do some tremendous attack on Inazuma Japan! What's wrong, Inazuma Japan?! Your teamwork doesn't work at all!"

Japan's players are panting due their tiredness because they keep trying to attack and defend at the same time.

Tsukasa: There's no way we can win if they keep up like this.

Kaminari: It can't be helped. We have to use other method.

Keita: "The match resumes with Inazuma Japan's kickoff! Can they catch up with Senbayama?!"

As the whistle blown, Kaminari pass the ball to Tsukasa as he run quickly forward.

Kai: Hey! Give me the ball!

Instead of listening Tsukasa ignore him. Tsukasa jumped backflip twice as he do a bicycle kick at the ball causing it engulf in dark energy.

Tsukasa: Bicycle Sword!

He land on the ground as the ball burst toward Senbayama's goalpost and went in.

Keita: "Goal!! Inazuma Japan finally scores a goal!"

(Inazuma Japan) 1 - 5 (Senbayama)

Tsukasa: Hmph. Our first goal.

Kai: Hey, what was that for?!

Tsukasa: *walk past Kai* If you and Katsuragi keep being arrogant, there's no way we'll win.

The match continues as it Senbayama's kickoff. Taru pass the ball to Makoto as they run forward. Makoto's right leg engulf in flames as he and Taru jumped. Taru put his right leg at the ball as Makoto put his right leg with flames at the ball.

Taru: Hinawa...

Makoto: ...Bullet!

The ball engulf in flames as it burst toward Japan's goalpost. Kirishima raise his right leg as he slammed on the ground and push his right hand forward as a huge spinning yellow fist appear.

Kirishima: Seigi no Tekken!

The fist hits the ball and punch it away.

Keita: "Goalkeeper Akai blocked the ball! He saves the team from losing another point!"

Kirishima: You won't get through me!

The ball still in the air. Taru jumped to get the ball but Haruki also jump up and grab the ball instead.

Taru: What?

Haruki: Sorry, but I'll have this!

He land as he look forward.

Kaminari: Do it, Kazami!

Haruki: Kami no Takuto: Fire Illusion!

He move his hands are as the flames way follow where the ball and players should move.

Haruki: Homura-san!

Homura: Right!

Haruki pass the ball as Homura receive it. She look where Haruki point and kick the ball.

Haruki: Suiryuu!

Suiryuu: Okay!

He grab the ball and kick it toward Kaminari as Tsukasa and Haruki himself move up forward.

Kaminari: Here we go!

Tsukasa/Haruki: Yeah!

Both of them take a running stance and run forward as Kaminari put his fingers in his mouth and whistle. Five penguins come out from the ground and burst out and Kaminari kick the ball.

Kaminari: Koutei Penguin...

The penguins fly/swim as they follow the ball. Tsukasa and Haruki jumped and turn as they kick the ball.

Tsukasa/Haruki: ...Niigo!

The ball burst forward as the penguins follow it. Kozu and Harui take their stance as barrage of walls come out.

Kozu/Harui: Mugen no Kabe!

The ball hits the walls and break through as it went into the goal.

Keita: "It's in! Inazuma Japan makes another goal!"

(Inazuma Japan) 2 - 5 (Senbayama)

They have high-five as they walk back to their field. As the match continues, Taru pass the ball Makoto as they went forward until Tsukasa quickly steals the ball from Makoto.

Makoto: What?!

Tsukasa: Too easy.

He keep running forward as he was blocked by three midfielders. He trying to keep the ball until he saw Kaminari. He use the tight space to pass the ball and Kaminari gets the ball.

Kaminari: Let's go, Homura!

Homura: Right!

Both of them jumps as they rotates and surrounded by raging flames as the ball at the center of them. They kick the ball and it engulf in raging flames.

Kaminari/Homura: Fire Tornado Double Drive!

The ball burst toward Senbayama's goalpost. Kasumi clench his right as it engulf in bright orange energy as he jumped and dive down.

Kasumi: Atomic Smash V2!

He slam his fist at the ball but it break through and went into the goal.

Keita: "Another goal!! Inazuma Japan scored their third goal!"

(Inazuma Japan) 3 - 5 (Senbayama)

Homura: We did it, Senpai!

Kaminari: Yeah.

The referee look at his wristwatch and blow the whistle, ending the match.

Keita: "That's the end of the match! After the long struggle, Senbayama won! Inazuma Japan utterly defeated in this exhibition match!"

The whole stadium went silent while the crowd talking with each other about the New Inazuma Japan.

(Stands)

Shinji: Hey, hey, is this for real?

Ren: It's true that the team full with strong player, but there's no chance of winning without teamwork!

Shun/Shin: It's already over...

Higashi: I never that Yoshi and Katsuragi would the main cause...

Yuuya: What will you do, Kaminari?

(Commentor Room)

Keita: "What do you think of the New Inazuma Japan, Matsui-san?"

Yasujiro: "The team are filled amazing players, but their teamwork are fragile. But we need to have faith with them. All they need is good teamwork."

(Field)

Both team shake hands with each other as Senbayama leave first. As Kasumi shake hands with Kaminari, he talks to him.

Kasumi: You guys did put a good fight, but... This team has no sense of teamwork. Sorry, I'm very disappointed even after winning.

He walks away. As the team walk into the hallway, Kaminari turn around to look at the scoreboard.

Kaminari(In mind): We lose... This is our first step to being the representative of Japan.

He continue to walk along with his team. Hakuryuu and Kariya look at their team before leaving as well.

"They lose in the exhibition match due their bad teamwork. Their problem is Yoshi and Katsuragi's play are too selfish while Kotaro is still an amateur. But they'll make somehow effective in the real match of FFI Vision 3!"
