That dreaded day was that Friday and it was killing him. Jude never liked Valentine's Day ever since he was 6 and his little sister was 5. His parents had died in a plane crash only a month after the 14th of February,so it was the last holiday they had together. Jude had tried his best every year to ignore the pain and the school was not helping. The school was holding a Valentine's Day dance and he was not happy about it. "Nii-san!" A voice yelled loudly making Jude cringe. "Yes Celia?" Jude said as the female skid to a stop in front of him. "Guess what!" Celia exclaimed excitedly. "Hmm?" The boy hummed. "I got us tickets to the dance Friday!" Jude flinched slightly at the news. "Why?" Celia gave the boy a "seriously?" look. "Because we haven't had fun on this day since Mom and Dad." She said. "And you're coming like it or not." Jude sighed and nodded making his sister smile. "Yay!" Celia cheered before running off to class. "What did I get myself into?" Jude said to no one before heading to class too.

The day of the dance arrived and Jude was trying to stay calm. "You ready?" Celia asked him. The female was dressed in a ice-blue dress that went down to her knees paired with some black leggings. Black boots and a black long-sleeved vest topped off the look. "Yeah." Jude sighed. The male had on a black t-shirt with a pair of jeans and a button-up gray coat. "Then let's go slow-poke!" Celia called as she headed towards the door. Arriving at Raimon, the Sharps noticed that nearly every available space was filled with either pink,red or white. Jude gagged slightly as Celia rushed off to meet with her friends. The boy sat down at an abandoned table and laid his head down. "Just breathe Jude." He whispered softly trying to avoid the memories of the last Valentine's Day with his parents. "Hey!" A voice spoke as a pair of hands hit his shoulders. A yelp was heard from the penguin-freak as his head shot up. The voice belonged to Mark Evans who was laughing at the sound Jude had made. "What was that?!" A second boy asked chuckling softly;Axel Blaze. "Shut up you two!" Jude yelled at them. "Whatever. Come on,they're doing karaoke." Axel said dragging the boy out of his seat. "What?!? No way?!?" Jude yelped terrified. "Yes way." The boys said pushing Jude onto the stage. The boy whimpered softly and yelped as he bumped into someone. Jude turned to see his crush since forever,Caleb Stonewall,standing on the stage as well. "Let's get this over with." The mohawk-haired boy growled as the music began.

Caleb sang with such confidence like he had written the song himself. Jude tried to match that confidence,but he stumbled slightly at first.

Caleb smirked softly at the timid male before joining in with the music. Jude noticed this and relaxed a bit.

The two finished the song as the cafeteria exploded with cheers. Jude smiled softly before returning to his seat. "Hey Jude?" Caleb said as he tapped the dreadlock-haired boy shoulder. Jude turned his attention to the boy who tilted his head towards the door indicated that he wanted to speak outside. Jude nodded wordlessly and followed the mohawk-haired male. "What is it?" Jude questioned as he sat down on the bench beside the door. "I'm surprised that you were the one that sang was me." Caleb replied. "I didn't want to,but Mark and Axel made me." Caleb smirked as he sat down. "Same. Xavier and Elliot were the one who dared me to." A weak smile formed on Jude's face before he shivered. "You cold?" Caleb asked worrying about the health of the boy beside him. "A little bit." Jude answered. "Come here." The other said as he wrapped his scarf around the penguin-freak's neck. Jude blushed as the boy did this. "H-hey Caleb?" Jude stuttered. "Yeah?" He said as his looked at the male. Jude just shook his head and turned away blushing. Caleb smiled. "Take off your goggles." The mid-fielder said. "Huh? Why?" Was Jude reply. "I want to see your eyes Jude-kun." Jude hesitated for a moment before reaching up to pull the goggles off his head. A shaky breath was released from his throat as he opened his eyes. "Woah." Caleb breathed out as he ran his thumb under Jude's eye softly. "They're beautiful." The boy said as he leaned forward and captured Jude's lips with his own. Jude gasped softly from the action before returning the act. The dreadlock-haired boy reached out to curl his arms around Caleb's neck,twisting his fingers into the boy's mohawk in the process. Caleb licked Jude's lips softly asking for entrance which Jude granted. The two continued for a few moments before pulling away from one another;a thin thread of saliva connecting them. "J-Jude?" Caleb stuttered. The said male glanced at him still panting slightly from the kiss. "I love you." Jude smiled and pecked Caleb's lips softly. "I love you too Caleb-kun." He said. The two spent the rest of the dance together outside admiring the star,and dancing in the parking lot. Maybe,just maybe, Valentine's Day wasn't as bad as Jude originally thought.
