Akatsuki's POV

I woke up at 3:30 am in the morning. I know what you're all thinking..........
why the heck did you wake up that early?! Well believe it or not, I actually do this every single day. I wake up, brush my teeth, change clothes and go for a jog. I do this everyday to train myself, to get faster. I mean since I've joined the club, why not?

I finished jogging and headed back home. I took a shower, changed clothes and ate. I checked the clock to see if I had extra time left and actually... 5 minutes?! I hurried and thanked Miyo for the food, wore my shoes and headed off to school. I made it just in time to the classroom as class began.

The class started and we were learning math. I was in the same classroom as Nishizono, Tenma, Aoi and that same girl I bumped into earlier.

My seat was next to the girl. Not to mention, she has the same exact uniform I'm wearing including my hat. But she had silver hair and icy blue eyes. She kinda look scary but I have to be brave.

'Should I talk to her? I mean, I want to make friends so why not. "H-Hi! My name is Kamikaze Akatsuki! What's your name?" I asked in a cheery voice.

She then turned around and she had a stoic expression on her face. I can't seem to see any emotions in her. It's like she's just a hollow empty shell with no color whatsoever. "Hibiki Verniy Dekabrist, just call me Hibiki." She said with the same stoic expression. After that, there was a moment of silence......

Awkward... "So-" "Ahem, Akatsuki, would you mind answering this math equation?" The teacher asked. Everyone's eyes were on me. 'Oh no! I wasn't paying attention' I thought. "The answer of x = 4" Hibiki whispered. "Um, the answer of X is 4." I answered. "Correct. I see you've been paying attention to our class lately." Then the teacher turns around and continues with his lesson. "Thank you." I whispered back to Hibiki. Hibiki just nodded in reply and turned back to face the teacher.

- Time Skip - Lunch

I decided to head to the field to practice for the test after school. Looks like Tenma and Shinsuke was already there.

"Hey guys!" I shouted as their attention turned to me. "Ah! Akatsuki! You wanna practice together?" Tenma asked. "Sure" I replied back.

We went into our positions as we started to pass to ball to each other. Tenma kicked it too far by mistake as ran using my speed and jumped in the air and caught it. "Wow! I didn't know that you were so fast Akatsuki!" Nishizono complemented.

"Well, I've been practicing" I said with a grin. I kicked the ball back but I kicked too high, but Nishizono caught it by jumping high up into the sky and barely caught using his head as he fell down onto the ground.

"You okay?" I asked as he groaned in pain.

"Yeah, I'm fine" He said as he stood back up.

"Hey guys! Let's go we have 5 minutes left!" Aoi shouted

"Okay!" Tenma exclaimed. We grabbed our stuff and headed off to go back to the classroom.

- Time Skip - After School

We all went to the building of the soccer club. I still can't imagine how much have changed though. We started walking up the stairs. We reached the top and found Tsurugi leaning against the wall, using his phone. Why does he have to wear that? But I didn't really think much of it. I went towards him, he looked up at me as we stared into each other's eyes.

"Hm?"

"...I'm going to join the club" I said with a serious voice.

"Tch" He replied as he went off somewhere.

We walked to the field and saw three other students there. The members of the soccer club gave us our temporary uniforms. "Good luck" The goal keeper said. I replied giving him a smile. (I say smile a lot, don't I?)

We all lined up in a row as Kudou-kantoku called our names. "We'll begin the entrance test, starting now."

"Matsukaze Tenma" "Hai"

"Nishizono Shinsuke" "Hai"

"Kamikaze Akatsuki" "Hai"

"Kotegawa Sakio" "Hai"

"Oshii Tsuyoshi" "Hai"

"Kanari Atsuyoni" "Hai"

We all went to our positions as we got to do the kickoff. Kotegawa started to kick as he passed it to Oshii, but he caught it barely.

"Hey! Watch where you're kicking!"

"It's your fault for not catching it properly!"

Oshii ran with the ball thinking he could score it himself as Shindou stole it. "Huh?" He said dumbfounded.

This went on for a few minutes as Tenma tried to steal the ball from Shindou for the 20th time. But Shindou's movements were too fast for Tenma to steal it. Shindou ran with the ball and kicked it too high and that there was Nishizono's cue. He jumped high up into the sky and caught the ball using his head as he passed the ball to Tenma.

Tenma then caught the ball and used his incredible dribbling skills and passed through the players like the wind. He passed the ball to me as I caught it. I ran towards the goal, but yet again it was stolen by Shindou.

'Oh no you don't' I thought as I ran towards him with full speed as I caught like it was the wind. I charged towards the goal as I felt this burning passion inside me, a passion that kept growing inside me. That's where it started....... kinda.

A dark blue aura appeared on my back as I kicked the ball with full force, the dark blue aura soon disappeared. The goal keeper tried to stop it, but the kick was too strong. The ball then got out from his grasp as the ball went into the goal.

"We....we did it.." I muttered as Tenma and Nishizono cheered for our victory. They then ran towards me and gave me a hug as we all fell to the ground. "We did it!" Tenma cheered. Our happiness was then soon interrupted by the referee blowing his whistle.

Everyone then went back to the side lines as Tenma, Nishizono and myself was huffing due to exhaustian. We waited for Kudou-kantok's answer.

"The student who passed are...

... Matsukaze Tenma, Nishizono Shinsuke and Kamikaze Akatsuki.. that is all"

"That's unacceptable!

(Hee...)

Why do those three get to pass!" Kotegawa complained as the coach looked at him with seriousness in his eyes as the three of them got a bit startled.

"Tch, I didn't even want to join anyway"

"This club is gonna get destroyed soon"

"Those losers must be stupid enough to join this club"

"That means you guys are worse than losers" Tsurugi added. The three soon ran away as he looked at me with his amber eyes. Our eyes connected as Tsurugi went off somewhere.

Tenma and Shinsuke pinched each other's cheeks. "Ouch! That means... It's not a dream!" "Yatta!" They cheered.

"Congratulations Tenma, Noshizono, Kamikaze" Aoi cheered

"Welcome to the team" The goal keeper said. He welcomed us with open arms.

It got late so I decided to head back home. "Kamikaze!" Nishizono called. I turned around and saw Aoi, Tenma and Nishizono running towards me.

"Wanna go home together?" Aoi asked

"Sure" I replied

We started walking and eventually reached each other's houses and went to our separate ways. "Kamikaze!" Nishizono shouted.

"Yes?"

"Call me Shinsuke, we're friends after all" He said with a smile

"Okay, then you can call me Akatsuki" I replied.

"Good night" Shinsuke said as I waved him goodbye.
