"Miracle!" Lillie's green eyes are filled with tears as she runs over to Miracle.
"Wake up! Please! Wake up!"

Whelp.
Miracle was a very sweet girl-
 
"I'M GONNA KILL HER!" Nightshade yells, her whole body surrounded by pink flames.

Sweet, Arceus.
Just set the whole place on fire why don't you.

Lusamine shrugs at them, "She won't be doing that anytime soon. It's a real shame."

Rudy's ears flatten and he begins to pace around, mumbling things under his breath.

This is great.
I can't think of a better outcome.

I look back at Miracle and see that Hau is trying to sneak away with Cosmog.

"Put that down!" Gladion yells causing Hau to jump and drop the box.

Lusamine smiles, "Gladion, you smart boy!" She gives Gladion a long look; it's the kind of look only a mother can give when commanding her child.

Gladion shakes his head, "I'm not giving you Cosmog."

There's that smile again. "Oh. You wouldn't want Hau to end up like Miracle, would you?"

Does she just go around...killing children?

Nightshade growls, "That's it. Isabelle, what are you doing? We have to fight!"

I glance over at Miracle and Lillie and Nightshade pulls my face back to hers, "Listen. We can worry about her once we deal with Lusamine. If she's trying to attack us while we run away, we won't make any progress. I can deal with the Clefable."

I pull my face away from hers, "I'm pretty sure Miracle is either dead or dying...I really don't think we can 'worry about her later'"

She completely ignores me and uses Sludge Bomb on the Clefable.

"Why did you do that!?" I yell.

Lusamine glares at us angrily, "Even your Pokémon are horrible!"

"That's why." Nightshade states before leaping into battle.

Amid all of the fighting and yelling, I make my way over to Lillie.

Snowball is surrounding them with a light pink aura, Heal Pulse.

I don't think a Heal Pulse can fix the large gash in her back but, hey, what do I know?
 
It seems that her Heal Pulse made all of the blood go away but...

Wait.
Heal Pulse can do that?
Why am I questioning this now.
 
Lillie is cradling Miracle's head in her lap and is rocking back and forth.

I look at Miracle, who is alive, but barely. It took me a while to make sure she was breathing.

Her body is surprisingly unharmed, apart from the wound on her back and the random gash on her abdomen.

"Where did that come from?" I ask.

Snowball glaces at me and twitches her ears, "I don't know." She mumbles.

"Are you okay?"

She gives me a confused look, "What do you mean are you okay? Aren't you worried? Miracle could've died!"

I push her away from me, "Of course I'm worried! But she didn't die so I don't have to be that worried."

I think I just lost brain cells.
And those words came out of my mouth.

"That's one of the stupidest things I have ever heard you say."
She sits back down and sighs, "I wish I could fight. Maybe I would have been able to do something."

Suddenly, a large portal opens in the sky....ceiling, and wouldn't you know, it's the Ultra Beast from before.

Lusamine smiles as she looks at the screens displaying different places around Alola.

"Look! Ultra Beast's all around Alola! It's beautiful!"

Just like the sight of a dying child.
Truly something to smile about.

Nebby cries out weakly and Lusamine scowls, "Ugh! Must you be so noisy even inside there!? All I need you for is your power!"
 
Lusamine is just so great!
What a kind and caring person!

Snowball flattens her ears and ice begins forming around her paws.
As Lusamine rambles on Guzma and Zinnia decide to pop in.

"Stop following me!" Guzma says pushing Zinnia away from him.

"I wanna see what you're doing." She says with a smile.

"Running away from you!" He turns to Lusamine, "How did the plan go Madam Prez?"

Madam Prez?
Are you serious?
Guzma...I actually liked you!
Why!?

"It went fine. A..." She glances at Miracle, "situation came up."
 
Ahh, yes.
A situation.
Nearly killing someone, definitely just a situation.
 
At least Zinnia agrees with me in a more....non peaceful way.

"Stop that!" Guzma yells as Salamence begins blowing stuff up.

Again.
Can't we just kill Lusamine?

Lusamine shrugs, "It doesn't matter now. All that matters is that I have my precious beast. But it seems that some nuisances have shown up. Guzma! Take care of them."

Gladion runs forward, "I'll take care of the beast! My partner Null was made to be a beast killer." He says in a commanding voice.

"Hau! You take care of Guzma!"

Hau looks back at Miracle then at Lusamine, "What about-"
Zinnia cuts him off and the rainbow stone on her ankle glows, surrounding Salamence's body and transforming it.

"Salamence and I will take care of her."

I got it!
I know why Miracle likes this chick so much.
She's insane.

Huh.
Lusamine's Pokemon must be cheating if they can faint and magically be revived a few minutes later.

After watching every single one of Zinnia's Pokémon get destroyed by Clefable, I get to watch Nightshade and Rudy angrily beat Clefable and everything else on Lusamine's team.

I should feel bad but...murderers.
Lusamine's eyes fill with rage, "I don't care about any of you! All I want is my beast!"

The jellyfish makes some weird noises as the wormhole begins to close.

Lusamine and Guzma nod as
Her body begins to fade in and out like the beast's.

Lillie watches in horror as the wormhole grows, "Wait! Mother!"
She runs to the wormhole, "What're you doing!?"

She tried to kill your friend.
Let her go.

Lusamine stares at her for a long time, "Going to my perfect world."

She waves at us before disappearing into the wormhole followed by Guzma and...Zinnia why can't you just leave that poor man alone?

And just like that, they're gone.

While one problem is solved, another one arises.

Nebby...can I even call it that anymore?
I think it might be dead, it's kinda just floating in the air.

Can people just stop getting injured?
Please?
It's too much stress.

But, we've got bigger problems to worry about.

When we return back to the luxurious room, Wicke is waiting for us.

Her happy expression quickly changes to worry when she sees Miracle.

"What happened?" She asks as Tula sets Miracle down on the bed.

Gladion sighs, "She tried to stop Lusamine but..."

Lillie looks over at her in shame, "This is all my fault." She whispers.
 
"I don't think it's anyone's fault but Miracle's." Gladion states, "What she did wasn't very smart."

He's right.
What was she planning to do once she made it up here? 
It's not like she would have had us with Her; I know for a fact that Faba would be waiting for her.

She probably wouldn't be injured, though.
This was just poorly planned.
All of it.

Peanut walks over to me, "She's gonna be okay right?"

Everybody turns to me, waiting for my answer.

"I-I...I don't know..."

Peanut droops his head and sniffles, "I can't loose another friend! She has to be okay! If she's gone, what will happen to us?"

Tiko jumps on him, "Stop talking. That's not gonna happen." His voice is laced with uncertainty and worry.
 
Rudy's eyes fill with tears, "You don't even believe your own words."

Incineroar pads over to us and nudges Tiko, "Beak up, bird brain."

I glare at him and he frowns, "Too soon?"
 
Leafeon climbs up on his head and looks down at us, "I'm sure everything will work out just fine." She says in a somewhat obnoxious cheery voice.

Nightshade and her lock eyes and she frowns, "Okay. Maybe this isn't the best thing."

She draws circles on Incineroar's head with her paw, "But, Wicke said she would take care of it."
 
"In other words," Raichu says, dragging us outside, "We should leave so they can work."

I watch the sun in the sky.
It's shining so brightly.

I hate it when something bad happens and the world is just all bright and happy.

I hear a long and heavy sigh next to me and see that Rudy has curled himself up in a shaded corner.

I waddle over to him and tap his head.
He looks up at me and sniffs the air, "Isabelle? What's wrong?"

What kind of question is that?

I plop down next to him, "I'm bored. Everybody else is sleeping."

He narrows his eyes in thought, "Do you want to talk?"

"About what?"
He stares blankly ahead, "What was it like before you met Miracle?"

I think back to my life on Primarina Island, "Hmm, well there was NY father...who was just annoying. Then, my sister, who I despise, and a bunch of other trainers who gave me away.

He frowns, "What's it like having a family?"

"Annoying. I don't really like my family."

He sneezes, "That's harsh. If I had a family I would love them with all my heart."

"Your family wouldn't be filled with happy and loud Primarina that sing all the time."

"But Primarina are beautiful singers..."

I sigh and pull myself off the ground, "That doesn't mean they should sing. I'm gonna go check on Miracle."

"Oh, uhh, bye?"

While heading inside, I am stopped by the dynamic duo.

They just can't wait to tell me some name they made up; it's Leafshade or something.

"What's that? Your ship name?"

They look at each other then shrug, "Sure." Nightshade says.

I sigh, "Why are you following me?"
Nightshade looks at me offended,

"Hey! Miracle's my trainer too!"
Leafeon pats her back with her tail, "Well, I'm here because I can never be too far away from Hau. I need to make sure he's okay."

I scoff, "Okay? What's gonna hurt him? Everybody's just sitting around talking about Ohana."

Leafeon tilts her head, "Ohana? Who's that?"

Nightshade giggles, "Ohana isn't a who!"

Oh my Arceus.
She giggled.
It's all over now.

"Then what is it?"

"Ohana means family." Snowball says.

Talk about a chilling presence.
She's sitting up straight with all six tails wrapped around her paws.
 
Her ice blue eyes are staring daggers through us.

"Sheesh! What's up with you?" Nightshade asks.

"What's up with me!?" She leaps to her paws and growls at us, "What's wrong with you Pokémon!?"
  
Leafeon frowns, "You seem stressed." She says innocently.

"Stressed!" She barks, making Leafeon jump up and hide behind Nightshade, "You should be the stressed ones!"
 
Nightshade glares at her, "Chill out, would you?"

I roll my eyes, "Stress makes everything worse. You're over exaggerating the situation. And quiet down, you're not helping with your incessant screeching."

"Don't use big words!" She stomps on the ground and large ice crystals appear on the door.

I stare at her, "Are you done with your temper tantrum?"

She glares at me, "No."

I sigh and waddle past her followed by a very upset Nightshade and skittish Leafeon.

Now I know why Snowball is such a wreck.

Never before have I seen Lillie so utterly depressed, not even that time when I first met her did she seem this sad.

Aww don't be sad.
Miracle is replaceable.
That wasn't funny.

What in the world were they talking about?

How dysfunctional their family is?
That was really mean.
Too bad it's true.

"Well maybe we can all be an Ohana, Hau says, "You, me, Gladion and Miracle. Doesn't that sound nice Lillie?"

Yeah, Hau.
Sounds great.
I mean, it's not like her mother just disappeared mere hours ago.
I need to stop.
I blame Snowball.

Lillie shrugs and Gladion sighs, "Fine. If that makes you happy. I just want to get out of this place."

Hau smiles, "We can head back to Melemele while Miracle heals."

Leafeon looks at Rotom who just recently flew in, "Melemele? Isn't that a while away?"

Rotom nods, "But it's a peaceful place. Perfect for winding down after all that's happened."

Snowball walks in and Nightshade chuckles, "It's perfect! Maybe Snowball will be able to.....Chill out!"

No.
Bad!

Snowball groans and walks over to Lillie.

"That's so far away." Gladion states.

"Yeah. But, it's quiet and Iki Town is there and...and.." Hau trails off.

Gladion looks at Lillie who nods, "Fine..I guess we can go to Melemele. But it'll probably be a while until Miracle wakes up."

Oh, a while it was.
A week, almost two weeks and she still hasn't woken up.

I think she died and what we see now is nothing but a mere ghost.

Me, Nightshade, Leafeon and Lillie have been waiting for her to wake up.

According to some chick named...something, Miracle just needs time to rest.

More like she just needs more time to suffer in her sleep.
That's what I think it is, but what do I know?
I'm no doctor.

"I'm starting to think that girl made the wrong diagnosis." I mumble, staring out of the window.

Nightshade and Leafeon are sitting next to me, "Her name is Theodosia," Nightshade says, "Pick up a history book."

I roll my eyes, "Fine. Theodosia. What kind of name is that anyways?"

Leafeon smiles, "I like her name. It's pretty."

Nightshade gives her a warm smile then presses her face on the window, "Hey! Look who it is!"

It's Ducidueye along with Lycanrock, and...a Primarina!?

I jump up and watch them make small talk, "No!" I yell, startling Leafeon.

Nightshade gives me a confused look, "It's a Primarina. Are you jealous?"
She says teasingly.

"No! Of course not! That Primarina is...Ahh!"

Nightshade laughs, "You do! You know what they say...distance is what makes love prosper."

Leafeon giggles, "That's not the saying!"

She shrugs "It's something like that."

I storm outside with the Salazzle and Leafeon frantically running after me.

"Hi, Isa!" Ducidueye waves at us, a big smile lighting up his face, "How has your morning been?"

I frown, "Who is this?"

I know who it is; I just want him to say her name.

Ducidueye flinches and looks at me confused, "Whoa, what's with the hostility?"

The Primarina smiles, "You didn't forget me, did you!?"

I glare at her, "No, Siren."

Nightshade looks at her and scratches her head, "You two know each other? You're friends?"

I sigh, "Unfortunately."

She gives me a weird look, "What's that supposed to mean?"

"My sister isn't exactly my friend."

First, I'm really sorry for the delay. School is a thing and I got detention and then drama....and then someone tried to hack my account. Oh boy! I've had a hectic week but I'm back. Hopefully.
Now, on with this chapter more importantly, Siren.
Siren is NOT my character. She belongs to a pretty cool dude by the name of HeroGreninja11 read his story....NOW!! But really he's a really good writer and he's super polite (which is rare to see anymore) and HeroGreninja11 I hope its fine with you that i made Siren and Isa related. If it bothers you I can come up with something else and change it. I am also really tired so I apologize in advance for any grammatical errors.
