"Miracle!" Hapu dashes over to us a smug smile on her face.
"I saw that."

Miracle blushes, "Saw what?"

She laughs, "You're a hypocrite."

"Yup! That's me! Miracle Hypocrite Jones."

Sapphire frowns, "Jones? Where'd you get that from?"

"The adoption papers."

WHAT!?

Sapphire rolls her eyes, "Whatever. Hey, do you have any food?"

Zinnia rubs her stomach, "Food would be nice."

"I would have food if Tula didn't eat it all."

"Tula? What kind of name is that?" Sapphire asks.

"She's my Pikachu. At least I didn't name her after a ROCK!"

Tula jumps up on her shoulder and waves.

"Do all of your Pokémon have dumb names like that?"

Miracle sighs, "No! None of them are named after rocks!"

"Sapphire's are not rocks!"

"They are!"

"Okay!" Zinnia steps in between them, "Stop fighting."

Sapphire flips her hair, "She started it."

After standing in silence for a minute Sapphire asks about what Pokémon Miracle has caught.

"I mean your starter has to be better than grumpy Banjo. Unless you picked that stupid seal."

Stupid seal?
Did she just call me a stupid seal?
Sapphire is the worst person we've met so far. 
I dislike her more than Team Skull.

"Well, jeez. What did Isabelle ever do to you? Anyways, Isa was my first partner. Isn't she pretty?"

Sapphire glances at me and shrugs, "I guess."

She'll be the first to die.

"My next team member is Tiko!"
He flies up on her shoulder and squawks.

"I like his hat."

"I know, It's not a rock hat. Next is Tula. Then there's Rudy."

Sapphire peers at him, "I think she's blind."

Miracle sighs, "First of all, Rudy is a male. Second of all, thank you for that useful information. I never knew he was blind."

Sapphire shrugs, "You put that flower bridle on him."

"And you put on that attitude. My last Pokémon is Nightshade."

Who has disappeared, no, wait, she's just with Leafeon.

Tula chuckles, "Ohhh, someone's getting some of that quality 'bonding' time."

Tiko frowns, "Really? Are you serious?"

Tula shrugs, "What? It's a normal thing."

I sigh, "Both of you shut up."

I've noticed that humans really like to talk....a lot.

Not for long though because Sapphire just has to get a Rotom dex.

And Zinnia just wants some food, so Hau decides to go on a little adventure with them.

Shame, we barely even got to talk to them, well Zinnia at least.

Also, why does Miracle have a crush on her?
I don't get it.

I don't really care about Sapphire.

Hapu left a while ago, all she did was give Miracle a saddle for Rudy.

After Hau and Hapu leave, some idiot from Team Skull decides to jump Lillie while Miracle's inside.

What a genius.

Although, Snowball seems to be having a fun time messing with that Hypno.

Miracle casually comes walking out of Aether House with Chase and throws a rock at the grunt.

"Hey! Dingus! What're you doing?"

"Yo! Yo! Yo! Hypno and I are back! Back to uhhhh... I'll think about it!"

Miracle rolls her eyes, "I helped you and your repayment is bothering my friend?"

Grunt shrugs, "I'm just doin' my job!"

Miracle nods, "And Isa and I will do ours. I hope you're ready for a show."

She looks at me and nods.

That's code for Sparkling Aria.

Miracle smiles, "Immigrants, we get the job done. Run along now."

Stop.

Grunt gets the hint, "Yo! I was just dropin' by! It's high time that I fly!"

Chase sighs, "You can stop with that edgy teenager act now. "

Miracle adjusts her glasses, "But it's fun!"

Miracle walks over to Lillie, "Why was he bothering you, anyways?"

"I wanted to try and travel on my own, so I could know how a trainer feels. But Nebby tried to get out of my bag."

"Pew!"

Pew, ball.
Ball, pew.

Snowball shakes her head and climbs up on Lillie's shoulder.

Lillie sighs, "You little troublemaker!" She looks up and smiles, "Thank you, Miracle...again."

Miracle nods and looks up at the sky, "No problem. It's my job to protect all."

Chase groans and Miracle chuckles, "Ok, ok. I'm done. I'll stop, I'll stop."

Acerola offers Lillie a rest in Aether House and tells us to head down to the travel site.

What better way to travel there than riding on a Mudsdale.

Rotom sits on Miracle's shoulder and shivers, "I think the next trial is a ghost-type trial. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps!"

"Aren't you a ghost type?" Miracle asks.

"Yeah. But that doesn't make it any less creepy."

We make it to the trial site and Acerola explains that we have to take pictures of the Pokémon we find around the abandoned mart.

"The Totem is a bit of a trickster and it likes to play hide and seek. If you take pictures of all of the other ghost type Pokémon, it'll want to join in on the fun!"

Miracle shakes her head, "Nope! Too spooky for me! But, I don't have a choice. C'mon team! Let's go!"
She dashes into the mart.

I thought she was scared.

The abandoned mart seems to be plagued by a Pikachu running around.

After taking pictures of all the ghost-types, Miracle ends up in a small back room.

We have to wait for her to come out.

As it turns out, the Pikachu running around was actually a Mimikyu, one who was very angry to see a Pikachu.

After brutally attacking Tula, and slicing Miracle's abdomen open, Tiko breaks its Disguise, starting the battle.

(Look, a trial that I wasn't underleveled for, it was still a pain though.
Hypnosis after hypnosis after hypnosis, ahhh!
God it was annoying.
I kept on forgetting that Z-moves were a thing. I probably could have murdered that Gengar with one Oceanic Operetta.)

After beating the Mimikyu, Miracle dashes out of the mart and throws Rotom at Acerola.

How has she not bled out yet?

She must have lighting fast reflexes.

So, we got our Z-Crystal because of our impeccable photography skills.

And now, we can catch Pokémon in the trial site.

Miracle turns back to the mart, "What about that room in the back? Are there any secret tunnels there?"

Acerola giggles, "What back room?"

She stops giggling when she notices that Miracle is literally bleeding out, "What happened to you?"

Miracle looks down and realizes that she's slowly dying, "Oh. That. It's nothing."

She must really want to be the black female Gladion.

Acerola frowns, "Do you have any bandages?"

Miracle shakes her head, "I have no need for bandages." She coughs and clutches her stomach, "Second thought I don't want to die. They're in my bag."

I never knew that Tula was such a good doctor, it's like Miracle wasn't dying mere seconds ago!

Call a hospital?
Nah!
This is Pokemon.

After bidding Acerola goodbye, I realized something.

I was beginning to think that Miracle had learned some things from our travels together.

Like, her loosing her reckless behavior.

I was wrong.

After being attacked by one Mimikyu, she wants to catch a Mimikyu.

Luckily, the one she catches is a sweet one.

He doesn't want to kill us.

"Alright Rotom, tell me about this little guy."

"Mimikyu, the Disguise Pokémon. A lonely Pokémon, it conceals its terrifying appearance beneath an old rag so it can get closer to people and other Pokémon. It also has another entry for when its disguise is busted.
After going through all the effort disguising itself, its neck was broken. Whatever is inside is probably unharmed, but it's feeling sad. He knows the moves
Shadow Sneak, Feint Attack, Charm, and Mimic."

Miracle frowns, "That was depressing. We have to make this little guy happy."

She pats him on the head and he makes happy ghost noises.

"The first step would be naming him. I'll name him Peanut, because I'm original."

He makes some more happy noises.
Miracle smiles, "But first we have to do some training."

Too bad Mimikyu has a cloth that it has to sew up after every battle, so not much progress was made.

Peanut is pretty uhh, anti-social.

He hasn't said one word to us as we head back to Tapu Village, he kinda trails behind us.

I look over at Nightshade, "Have you tried talking to him?"

A Pokémon Center is the perfect place to talk, make friends and eat a bunch of berries while your Trainer gets scolded by her mother and father for almost dying.

But, at least they brought Charity to make sure she doesn't die while they scream to her.

Nightshade shakes her head, "No. He gives me the creeps."

She looks over at the shadowy corner that Peanut is hiding in.

I sigh and waddle over to him, "Are you hungry?"

He shakes his head.

"What about friends? Do you want to make any friends?"

He hesitates before shaking his head again.

I turn to Tula, who is stuffing her cheeks full like a Bunnelby.
 
She winks at me and gulps down all of the berries before stealing Tiko's and waddling over to us.

She hands Peanut an Oran Berry.

"You can have it if you want. Tula will share food with her Pikachu brothers, sisters, and cousins." She says with a smile.

A black, clawed hand crawls out from under the cloth.

Peanut takes the berry and inspects it.

Tula pushes it close to him, "Don't just stare at it. I'll steal it from you."

Peanut sticks the berry under the cloth and eats it, I think.

Blue sparks fly from Tula's cheeks,

"Yeah! Yeah! Thats it! Here. This is a Rainbow Pokébean. Miracle gives them to us when she's petting us and brushing our fur. They're sooo good!"

He eats again but this time his body shudders and his eyes shine.

The real ones, not the doodle ones.

"See? Wasn't that good?"

Peanut nods, "Thank you." He says in a high whisper like voice.

Tula's eyes widen and she grabs him, "You can talk!? I thought you were mute!"

I pull her back, "That was rude. Apologize."

Tula laughs at me, "You're not my mother! Plus, Peanut doesn't mind, right, Peanut?"

Peanut nods, "It's okay. Can I have more food?"

Tula shakes her head, "Nope! You gotta work for your food."

"How do I do that?"

"Battle! We battle for Miracle."
Peanut jumps around, "I can do that! I'll protect Miracle with my life!"

Tula and I chuckle, "You don't have to be that serious," I say.

"And you can't protect her with your life because you're already dead!" Tula says happily.

Wow.
Just wow.

Miracle's parents decide to stop yelling at her and head back to Melemele.

Not before saying, and I quote, 'Stop giving us heart attacks.'

Her parents didn't even seem that worried.

We head back to Aether House and it seems that Grunt is back and he brought some backup....that we will learn about next time!!

I hate cliffhangers.
