I would apologize for the title but it's true. I have a question, does anyone even like this story? Nobody comments and I feel it's a little bland. I need some ideas on how to spice it up a little, y'know? I can't just live on puns and implied shipping, people!

When we get back to Konikoni City a friendly Probopass gives us a letter stating where Olivia is.

Miracle decides to do some shopping and buys Nightshade a purple flower anklet and crown. The flowers kinda look like the nightshade plant, too, it's a nice touch.

How long until she-
Burned to a crisp before I could finish my sentence.

She buys herself a nice big light blue bow.  Nice to know my trainer has a great sense of color.

Before we can head off to the ruins, Miracle has to call her mom.
It seems her and her mother just can't get along, she's all grumpy when they're done talking.
So she takes her anger out on Memorial Hill.

"Is something wrong with her?" Rudy asks.

"Yeah." Tiko says then laughs, "Her mom probably told her she can never come back home."

I shake my head, "Yes, that is definitely what she said."

We travel through the burial place in complete silence, I can tell Tiko is having a very hard time, he's twitching with every passing moment.

Miracle spots Team Skull arguing with Aether and hides behind a grass hedge, "Man, it's Team Skull and those Aether people." she whispers, "Let's hide and hope they don't see us."

The lady and the man in green seem to be arguing about what to do.

Tiko screeches causing the man in green walks over to the hedge, "Hello, young trainer."

You had one job, Tiko!

Miracle sighs and stumbles over the hedge, "Alright, I'll take care of it, I guess. Tiko, Isa."

After we beat Team Skull, they run off. Tiko waves at them, "Goodbye! Can't wait to see you guys again!"

"Tiko, no. I don't want to see them again," I say with a sigh.

"But they're funny!"

Rudy nods, "He's right they are pretty funny."

Not Rudy!
They've poisoned him!
Monsters!

Aether thank Miracle by inviting her to Hano Grand Resort when she's done with her grand trial, where they will take us to a wondrous place.

Don't trust them.
I can tell by their way too clean white coats that they're up to something.

As they walk away I see Rotom chuckling to himself, "Did you see that Aether Foundation lady?"

"Yeah." Miracle says digging into her bag.

He winks, "I think she was looking my way."

Miracle snorts, "Oh, Rotom! You're such a nerd...she wasn't looking at you."

Let him live, Miracle!

While heading up to the ruins we get stopped by an 'important looking person' as Miracle would say.

Some chick from Team Skull.
She's got a Salandit...that's a girl.
All the grunts have male ones that will sadly never evolve.

"Are you the one Gladion was talking about?" She says.

"You mean Mr.Edgelord? He probably was talking about me. I'm flattered."

She walks up to us, "I'm Plumeria."
"And I'm Miracle." Miracle says smartly.

"You have realized what idiots those guys on Team Skull are right?"

Miracle frowns, "Well that's not a very nice thing to say."

Plumeria sighs, "You picking on my little brothers and sisters is really annoying me!"

But they bother us!

The Salandit that was just chilling on her shoulder decides to attack us for no reason.

Miracle falls to the ground, "Hey! What was that for?"

Plumeria shrugs, "My Salandit is a very eager one."

She attacks us again, but Nightshade deflects the attack with her tail.

Plumeria looks at Miracle disappointedly, "Gladion said you were a trainer that posed somewhat of a threat. I'm starting to think he was over exaggerating."

Rudy helps Miracle up off the ground, "Well, if your Salandit would stop attacking us we could have a battle."
Salandit calms down then gets obliterated by Rudy, same goes for her Golbat that falls at Tula's feet.

"There, you got your battle. Now, can I please just get this Grand Trial done with?"

Plumeria sighs, "Hmm, you're pretty strong. But, mess with anyone else in Team Skull and you'll see how serious I can get."

Plumeria walks away and Miracle chuckles, "Just imagine how mad she'll be when she finds out about Grunt."

Stop. Jinxing. Things.

When we finally get to the Ruins Of Life we are greeted by Professor Burnet, Lillie, Snowball, and a very happy Nebby.

It seems that Lillie got lost again so Burnet brought her here. Of course, Team Skull had something to do with it.

"Anyways," Burnet says with a smile, "The Masked Royal has a match and there's no way I'm missing it!" She takes a few steps, "What do you think the Masked Royal looks like under that mask?"

Miracle is unamused, "I think he looks like Kukui."

Burnet laughs then walks away.

Nice.
She was here just to ask us that strange question.
 
Lillie walks over to us, "I came here for Nebby."

"Again?" Miracle says with a sigh.

She nods, "This is where the guardian of Akala Island, Tapu Lele, resides."

"Ooo. I like that name."

Nerd alert!
Miracle, now Tapu Lele will strike you down.

Olivia walks out of the Ruins, "I see that you got my letter alright."
She glances at Lillie, "Haven't I seen you with Kukui?"

Lillie nods, "Yes. I'm the Professor's assistant."

Olivia smiles, "Tapu Lele summoned me here to clean up the Ruins, but now I think it's time."

Summoned?
Like, you're a legendary Pokémon?
I didn't know the Tapu's could do that.

Miracle's brown eyes light up, "Really!"

Olivia nods, "You look like you've been waiting for this."

"Yeah, I have."

Thats because you were stalling.

"Well, who am I to keep you waiting? We're gonna give you everything we've got!"

Too bad Isa and Rudy destroyed her team. But it's ok, Olivia, you're still pretty cool.

Another victory, another Z-Crystal.

"Pew!!" Nebby floats over to us.

"You seem happy!" Lillie says with a smile.

"Lillie, I don't mean to sound rude," Olivia says, "But why even come to the Ruins if you're not a trainer?"

"For Nebby. It's from a different world and I want to help it get back home, but I don't know how. It seems to have a strange fascination for the Ruins on the islands."

Olivia looks down at Nebby and smiles, "You sure don't see a Pokémon like that every day. I can see you're doing everything you can for your partner even if you're not a trainer, I respect that. C'mon, I'll take you two back to Konikoni."

Hau runs into us, "Aue! You're Kahuna Olivia! I'm Hau from Iki town."

He turns to us, "Hey Miracle! You'll never believe what just happened!"

"What was it," Miracle asks with a smile.

"This weird green guy from Aether told me to go to Hano Grand Resort when I finished Grand Trial. Isn't that crazy?"

"Yeah, I met that man and he said the same thing to me."

Lillie stutters, "Th- The Aether Foundation? I- I think I'll stay here to see how Hau's battle goes."

That right there is a red flag.
Aether. Is. Bad.
Miracle listen to me!!

"Alright. If you want," Miracle says confused.

"I might not be as strong as my gramps, Hala, but I can still raise Torracat and the rest of my team to do their best!"
