Miracle told her Mother she was leaving, you know, as you do in a new place.

I'm sure Sadie will just let her go island jumping as many times as she wants.

"WHAT!?"
At least Sadie sees a problem in that.
She's a good mom.

"To Akala Island." Miracle says with a smile, "For my next trial."

"Oh, well I guess you can go," Sadie replies calmly, placing a small rag down near the sink.

"Really!?"

"Of course not!" She yells, causing Miracle to flinch, "You're not leaving."

"Why not?"

"No sane mother would let her child. just run off to another island! It's halfway across the sea!"

Miracle rolls her eyes, "But it's just fine to travel through Hoenn alone. There's water there too, y'know!"

They continue to bicker until Sadie goes to bed, telling Miracle her final answer is still no.

"Says you," Miracle mumbles under her breath, before going to bed as well.

An hour passes, Until Miracle emerges from her bedroom. She peeks into her mother's room, what is she up to?

"Isa! Isa!" Tula jumps up and down and shakes me.

"What, what, what is it?"

"We're leaving, to Akala."

My eyes widen, "Wait really?"

Tula nods, "Miracle said if her mom wouldn't let her go, she was just gonna sneak out."

Of course, that's just a great idea.

We go over to the door where Miracle is writing a letter, y'know, just to tell her mother she's leaving.

Heading half way across the sea.
Arceus save me.
I just can't with this child.

"Tula, we can't leave. Her mother will be worried sick!"

Tula looks at me, "It's not like we can do anything. Plus, Miracle will be the one getting in trouble, not us."

Miracle places the note on the refrigerator, then opens the front door, "C'mon you guys, we're leaving."

"Isa!"

I roll my eyes and reluctantly waddle outside.

Knowing Miracle, she would have probably forced me to go anyways.

We make it to Hau'oli city effortlessly.

I'm surprised not even Duke stopped us.
He saw us leave yet, he did nothing.
Useless dog if you ask me.

Not even the adults asked why-

"Hey, Miracle!" Hau is standing near the beach, looking out at the sea.

"Hey, Hau, what's up?" She says, walking over to him.

"I just told my mom that I'm leaving for Akala Island. But then she slapped me on the back, I'm still feeling' it!"

That's abuse, Hau.
But so is letting children wander around by themselves.

"Really?"

"Yeah, but it's fine," he reassures her.

It's not fine.
Nothing in this world is fine!

"Anyways, we should go," he says heading towards the marina, "Lillie and the Professor are probably waiting for us."

When we get to the Marina, I get to see the boat the Kukui was so happy about.

I'm...unimpressed.
Deeply unsettled.
Kukui said this thing was amazing!
It looks like a five year old made it!

It's small and the sail has fixed patches in it, with different colored cloth.
Not noticeable at all.

Hau smiles, "Hey, Prof. Is this old thing is seaworthy?"

Kukui frowns, "Don't call my boat old. She's not old..."

Miracle looks at the sail, "Ehh, she is kinda old."

Hau laughs, "See? Miracle agrees with me."

Kukui chuckles, "Fine. But I prefer Classic. Yeah, she's a classic."

No, she's not.

"If you say so." Miracle mumbles.

"I think the boat is nice." Lillie says.

No!
Kukui has brain washed Lillie!

"Well, I want to see how amazing this boat is," Miracle says climbing into it.

"She just wants to leave before her mom finds out she left." Tiko whispers.

Sad thing is, he's right.

"Wait! Wait! Wait for me!" Chase is running as fast as he can, he'd probably run faster if he would take the Rockruff off his head.

He trips running down the stairs and tumbles over to us, Peaches landing safely next to him.

"Jeez, Chase! Be more careful." Miracle says, helping him up.

I wonder, is he running from his mother as well? With a total stranger who barely knows anything about Alola?

"Are you leaving? To the next island?" He asks, panting.

"Yeah, why?"

"Because I wanna go!" Peaches jumps up and down, "She wants to go, too! You can't say no to a Rockruff."

Of course!
Why wouldn't he want to go island jumping!?
And with a girl he barely knows!

Miracle rolls her eyes, "But you know who can? Your mother."

I slam my face into the cobblestone ground.
Yeah, it hurt, but so did listening to what Miracle just said.

Tiko groans and starts ramming his head into the ground.

Tula stands there, "What's going on?" She asks in a scared voice.

I lift my head up, "Miracle's killing us. That's what's going on."

Chase giggles, because running off with strangers is funny.

"I'm not that dumb! Of course my mom knows. She said she's happy that I'm leaving." He stops smiling, "She told me to tell you to not bring me back."

Pfft!

I just sprayed water everywhere; it was that funny.

Miracle glares at me and shakes the water off of her before turning to Chase, "Get on the boat."

Chase smiles and runs over to the boat.

Miracle must notorious in Hoenn for making terrible decisions.

For such a beat down looking thing it goes pretty fast.

Tula sits up on my head while Tiko flies through the sky along with Rowlet.
His fedora stays on the whole time.
I just don't understand.

Pikachu is enjoying himself while Torracat is being his salty, grumpy self.

"Be happy, Torracat," Pikachu says. "The moon is up, the sky is clear, the stars are twinkling, it's great!"

Torracat has his claws rooted to the boat, "Just get me away from the water."

Nah.
I decide to spray him with water.
He got so angry.
Little does he know, I live for his anger.

"C'mon grandma! Kick it up a notch!" Seems the boat isn't quite fast enough for Hau.

"If we push the boat any harder than this, we could end up at the bottom of the sea." Lillie says.

Hau laughs, "You're just worried about your silly hat falling off!"

Silly hat?
Tiko's hat is silly.
Lillie, your hat is great.

He turns to Miracle, "I wonder what kind of island Akala is. I'll bet it'll be just as fun as going around Melemele."

Melemele is extremely boring.
Of course Akala will be interesting.

Miracle nods, "I can't wait to see all the new Pokémon."

Hau nods, "Yeah. I wonder what kind of malasadas they have in Akala."

All Hau ever thinks about is malasadas.
How is he not obese yet?

We get to Akala and the first thing Hau does is jump off the boat and shout, "Land ahoy!"

"Isn't it a bit late to be saying land ahoy when we've already gotten here?" Lillie asks.

Damn, Lillie.
Let the boy prosper.

Hau frowns, "What a stick in the sand!

He turns to Miracle, "Miracle, you thought it was funny, right?"

Miracle shrugs, "Yeah, it was pretty funny."

He turns to Kukui, "What about you, Professor?"

Kukui smiles, "The land is certainly ahoy, oh boy!"

NO.

Miracle groans and Tula giggles, "That was funny! Miracle doesn't have a sense of humor."

Nebby must have thought it was funny, too.

"See? Even Nebby thought it was funny." Hau says, pointing to it.

"Still haven't found a shirt that goes with your lab coat, huh Kukui?"

Two women are standing at the top of the stairs, "I told you, you're going to scare people off looking like that."

I think he looks fine.
And, what is this woman on?
People flock to Kukui.
They're not the best people, though...

After some short conversation, I learn that the woman who was talking to Kukui is named Olivia.

Her friend is Mallow, she's one of the trial captains on the island.

Apparently, there is more than one trial here.
At least that's what Kukui said, He also told us to go up to Paniola Town.

While everybody else is going off and doing their thing, Miracle is still standing at the dock, "So we're on Akala now. What kind of Pokémon live here?"

Is she talking to Rotom?
'Cause he's still in her bag.
Like a good Pokémon robot thing

Rotom flies out of her bag, "I can help you with that! A new island means a new island Pokédex."

"That's good. Uhh can you tell me what this place is called?"

"This is Heahea city, its quite large."
Miracle nods and the first thing she does is head to the boutique, where Lillie is.

But, I wanted to go see some Mudbray.
My wishes don't matter, it seems.
If only I could-

"Do you ever stop thinking?" Tiko asks, slightly annoyed.

I sigh, not really in the mood to talk to him, but then!
I know exactly what to say, "Thinking is good for you, Tiko. You should try it sometime."

It takes a while for him to register what I just said, "I'm not dumb!" He squawks, fluttering his feathers.

I smile, "I never said you were." I waddle after Miracle before turning back to him, "I only implied it."

Miracle takes two steps before remembering to buy clothes.

Guess who's in the store making a mess?
No, no, go on, take a guess.
Just kidding, it's Chase.

Miracle tells him to look for clothes not mess them up.

What!?
That's not how eight to ten year olds work!

So Miracle bought some clothes and a blue headband for Tula for some reason.

Chase bought nothing because he's broke.
His mother is amazing.

Back to our adventure, we head up to Tide Song Hotel only to be stopped by two tourist's.

Is Miracle famous?
Why are all of these random people talking to her?

"Stop right there," the man says.

"Sina? Dexio? Is that you?"
Miracle knows these people?
Are they from Hoenn?

"Miracle!" Sina exclaims, "Long time no see!"
"What are you two doing in Alola? It's a long way from Kalos."

What is that?

"We're sight seeing," Dexio answers.

"Hey, I've got an idea," Sina pulls out a Pokéball, "Why don't you test your skills against me?"

"Uh, sure why not."

Yeah why not!
Its not like you're doing any fighting.

"You still battle as good as ever," Sina says, "I think we can in trust you with this item."

Sina hands her a green and black cube thing, "It's a Zygarde Cube, you can use it to collect cells and cores of Zygarde around the region."

Yes, girl.
Take this important thing that won't be relevant at all to your journey.

"Ok." Miracle inspects it, "Why would pieces of Zygarde be here?"

Dexio shakes his head, "We'll tell you the details later, but until then keep it safe. Bon voyage!"

They walk away, "Whelp that was nice. Let's go to this hotel."

Tide Song Hotel is the talk of Heahea city, I see why now. It's so beautiful!

"I want to live here!" Tula says, jumping up onto one of the sofas.

Can't wait to get kicked out of here.

"Miracle, you shouldn't let your Pokémon jump up on the furniture like that." Lillie says as she walks over to us.

Chase grabs Tula and places her on the ground.

Miracle chuckles, "You're right. But Tula kinda just does what she wants.
So, how did your meeting go?"

She shakes her head, "Not so good. I saw some people who looked like they were from Team Skull and I got scared and ended up missing my meeting, but it's fine."

Team Skull shows up in a nice place like this and nobody does anything?
I'm sorry but I'm gonna have call bull.

"Are you going to go to head to Paniola Town?" Lillie asks.

Miracle, who was staring into space quickly shakes her head and yells, "Yeah!"

Lillie takes a step back, "Uhh well, you should make sure you're prepared. It takes a while to get there."

"Thanks." Miracle gasps, "You just reminded me to buy potions. Let's go, Chase!"
