Maui shakes him off, "Get off of me you bird brain!"

I growl at Maui, "What're you ding here? Go home!"

Tesla pulls me back, "Hey, calm down there." He walks up to Maui and bows, "What brings a Primarina like you out here?"

Maui looks taken aback at Tesla's politeness, "Uhh, I got word of a certain Primarina causing trouble. I just wanted to make sure Ui- I mean Isabelle wasn't getting into any trouble."

"I'm not doing anything! Go. Home." I yell at him

"Don't yell at your father like that!"

Robin copies his buddy and puffs out his chest, "You too, Hunter! Listen to your father!"

Ducidueye squawks, "I didn't say anything to you!"

I chuckle, "You never told me your name was Hunter."

"I didn't think it was important. You can call me that if you want."

Incineroar grunts, "Don't call him that. I'll have to tear you apart if you do." He says jokingly.

"Leave that up to me, Fire Cat." A silky voice says.

A Vaporeon walks up behind Maui and Robin.

He's the normal blue, but his paws are a snow white along with the tips of his tail. 
He sounds like a Larry ripoff.

I scoff, "Sure, you could."

The Vaporeon chuckles and turns back to the sea of Primarina, "Go home, everyone. Seems Mr. Maui brought you here for no reason."

They all scoff and wait for Maui to tell them to leave.

"Find something to do around...." Maui glances at me

"Iki to-"

"Yes! Iki town! Go!"

I roll my eyes as they all swim to the depths of the sea.

At least Kukui will have more Primarina to research.

The Vaporeon looks around until his eyes land on Leafeon.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't little Eevee. Looks like she's all grown up now."

He begins to walk to her and she quickly hides behind Nightshade.

He continues to stare at the trembling Leafeon until Nightshade pushes him back, "I hoped you would be dead by now." She hisses.

He looks at her as if he's disgusted, "Same." He sits and licks his paw slowly, "So, Nightshade, I would really like to know why you're spending so much time with my daughter."

These two know each other?
Why?
I don't remember any Vaporeon.

She lowers herself to the ground, "Because I'm her girlfriend." Nightshade sends him hurling with a Sludge Bomb that is counter attacked by a Hydro Pump.
It hit Nightshade head on.

"Hey!" Miracle picks up Nightshade, "You can't do that to my Salazzle!"

Miracle has the best sneaking skills.

He shrugs, "Then I'll do it to you."

"Freeze-Dry!"

Ooo!
Lillie's training did pull off after all.

And Miracle, stop letting Pokémon attack you like that.

Lillie shakes her head, "Can you stop getting attacked by Pokémon? Please?"

Miracle smiles, "I want to be like Professor Kukui!"

Lillie makes some worried noises, "No! That's bad!"

She grabs Miracle's arm and drags her away, "Can't we do something safe for once?"

I glare at the Vaporeon and turn to Maui, "Alright, who's this? Why'd you bring him here?"

The Vaporeon smirks, "My name is Tidal Wave I'm surprised you've never heard of me. I remember you, Uilani. I'm a close...friend of your fathers"

He glances at Nightshade, "That snake right there's is why I'm here."

Maui and Robin push him, "This was meant to be our spotlight!" Robin yells.

Maui nods, "It's our time to shine!"

Tidal waves his paw nonchalantly at them, "Yeah, yeah. You'll get yours some other time."

Maui and Robin frown, "Whatever. Robin says, "Let's go fishing old pal!"

Maui smiles, "Nothing like some cannibalism to get you going!"

Great joke, Dad!
That wasn't weird at all!

Tidal smiles, "Now back to this girlfriend joke. It's a joke right? Wouldn't want you to meet the same fate as your mother."

Leafeon nods quickly, "Y-yeah," she stutters, "I-Its j-just a joke! Haha!"

Tidal Wave gives her a stone cold glare, "Now you're lying to me?" his blue eyes light up, "First, you run off with this...sick Salazzle-"

Nightshade glares at him, "Sick? We're not sick."

Tidal Wave wrinkles his nose, "Are you sure? Show me how you reproduce, or how you, I don't know be normal-"

There goes Nightshade's tail again, "Normal? We are normal!"

Tidal Wave is clearly getting pleasure out of her anger, "Whoever told you that lied."

I step in between them, "Alright! That's enough!"

Nightshade glares, her white stripe turning purple with all heat, "Move."

I glare right back, "Do you want to test me?"

She reluctantly backs down.

I turn back to Tidal, "Now, you and I are gonna have a talk."

I sit down in front of him.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?"

Tesla's eyes widen as he covers Topaz's ears, "Isa! There are children here! Keep the anger language to a minimum."

I sigh, "Right, right."

Tidal chuckles as he licks his white paw, "Oh. Did I upset you, little seal?"

"Are you sadistic or something?"

"No. I'm just telling my daughter what I think if her choice in a....'mate'."

Nightshade growls at him which gains a small chuckle from the Vaporeon.

I sigh, "Why can't you just leave her alone? Let her live her life she's not hurting anyone."

He erupts with laughter, "It is hurting people! Me! My family! The future of my clan!" His laughter turns into low growls, "She's a defect! She's sick!" he points at Nightshade, "And it's all her fault!"

I tilt my head, "That's a sad way to think about it."

"It's contagious!"

I laugh and he sets his paw down, "Are you alright? What's wrong?"

I stop laughing, "It's you. You're the problem."

"Wha-"

I pick him up and toss him into the ocean, hopefully, he'll leave and never come back.

(Time skip to two months later, the location is Lush Jungle)

"Topaz! Use Earthquake! Snowball! Use Heal Pulse on Topaz!"

Topaz, who is now a beautiful blue Tyrantrum, jumps up, when she lands, the whole ground shakes.

Nightshade jumps up on me, "Yikes! That was too close!"

Snowball, who has also evolved into the ice queen of Ninetales, fills the area around her with a soft pink aura.

Miracle smiles, "That wasn't that bad, but it was predictable."

"I'm trying my hardest!" Lillie yells.

Over the past two months, I've been noticing that Lillie has been trying her hardest to impress Miracle.

Nightshade won't shut up about it.

Nightshade laughs, "Oh my Arceus! Do you hear that? It's the gay!"

I shake her off, "You do realize that Lillie is like 12 right?"

She shrugs, "How much older are you and Tesla?"

"That doesn't matter because...we're not dating!"

She stretches, "That's what Tiko said about him and Tula. Don't tell me you believed that."

Miracle claps, "You two done talking?"

I nod and turn back to our opponents.
"Alright, Isabelle! Use Moonblast on Topaz! Nightshade, go for Flamethrower on Snowball!"

While I charge up my attack, I notice that Nightshade is just standing around, listening.

"Nightshade?" Miracle asks, "Are you broken?"

I float back to the ground, "What are you-"

"Shh! Do you hear that?"

Tesla runs up to us, "Yeah. I can hear it. People yelling."

Seems Miracle and Lillie can hear it too.

Lillie looks over at Miracle, "Is that..."

"Looks like we gotta go see what kind of trouble Hau and Gladion got themselves into." Miracle says, grabbing her bag and walking deep into the forest.

Topaz jumps all around, "Did I do good, mama? Did I? Did I?"

I smile, "You did great! I told you you'd be a great battler."

She smiles and begins licking me all over.

I don't want a Rockruff.

Snowball pulls on my tail, "Can you two hurry up? I have a job to do."

I return her ice cold gaze, "Sorry, Elsa. My mistake." I say with a smirk.

Snowball gasps, whips around, places her tails in the air and walks away.

So sassy today!

We have to go deep into the jungle.

Where's Mufasa when you need him?

Eventually, we get lost.

It's pitch black in this place.
Suddenly a loud yowl of pain shatters the silence.

"Holly!"
Bye Nightshade.
Thanks for waiting for us.

I have no idea where Lillie and Miracle went; Snowball left, too.

Guess it's just me Topaz and Tesla left.

"I can't see! Ma! Pa! Where are you!?"

I can hear Topaz trampling around in the bushes

I grab her tail, "We're right here! Stop panicking!"

"Oh." She stops and lowers her head.

"Tesla, can you light the place up?"

"I-i don't really know. Do you really want to see this place? I can smell that stupid clan around."

"Clan?"

"Maui never told you? Well, it's a Clan run by this Vaporeon. It's huge! From what I can tell, the Vaporeon that runs it is pretty...messed up."

A Vaporeon.

"Wait. Is it Tidal Wave?"

"That's his name?"

Tesla nudges me, "C'mon we're wasting time standing here. Let's go make sure Nightshade didn't die from worry."

We come to a clearing where Tidal is waiting for us.

"Isabelle!" He exclaims happily, "So nice of you to show up."

Tesla lights up the forest with his electricity to reveal the ambush waiting for us.

"Nice try, Tidal," Tesla says, "I won't fall for that trick."

Tidal frowns, "You brought him with you? Why? First, that stupid lizard shows up and gets all mad at me-"

"I still am mad at you," Nightshade hisses.

Seems Tidal's been getting on his kidnapping game.

There's Nightshade and then there's Rudy.
How in the world did Rudy get here?

"You kidnapped Rudy?" I ask.

He looks over at the blind Mudsdale, "That's his name? He wouldn't tell me his name. And no, I did not kidnap him. He wandered over here."

"No, I didn't." Rudy says calmly, "You attacked me and brought me here. I'm blind, not deaf."

Tidal doesn't look concerned, "Whatever. It doesn't matter. All that matters is that I got Isabelle to come here."

I roll my eyes "What do you want?"

"I want-"

"I don't care."

He falters, "You dare say no to me?"

"Yeah. We're hitting that anime territory. I'm the protagonist and you're the villain, if we fight, I'll win."

He growls, "You are annoying-"

Nightshade groans, "Stop talking and just kill him!"

Tesla looks at her in shock, "Isn't that a bit extreme?"

"NO! He killed Holly!"

Tidal shrugs, "That's an overstatement." He says calmly, "And what's a Salazzle like you gonna do? Sing me a song?"

I sigh, "Tesla, have you heard enough?"

"Yeah." He says before lighting Tidal up with a Discharge.

Tidal smirks in the sea of electricity, "You call that a Discharge?"

A Whirlpool blasts the electricity away, "I'm not just any Vaporeon. There's a reason why I'm called Tidal Wave."

The Whirlpool grows larger and more Eeveelutions sneak out behind him.

Tidal and Topaz move closer to me,

"We're surrounded," Tesla whispers,

"Isa..."

"It's fine. That stupid anime Vaporeon doesn't scare me."

"So, that's what you think of me?" He lets the water fall and waves a paw to calm down his hungry Clanmates.

"Listen here, Isa. I have reasons for doing the things that I do. The protection of the clan is a leaders priority. You, of all Pokémon should understand that."
 
"Hurting your children because they're not what you wanted is not how a leader acts."

He sits and wraps his tail around his paws, listening intently.

"Not once did my father treat me any different because of my eye color or solitary attitude. You're a terrible leader!"

He nods, "The future of the Clan is the most important. Sometimes I have to do some...unethical things to ensure its survival. Leafeon is a danger to us. She had to go."

"That's a dumb reason and you know it!" Nightshade yells.

She's being restrained by the a Sylveon.

I look at her to calm her down then turn back to Tidal.

"A leader never hurts his Clanmates. Never. My father told me no matter how much you despised someone, you never hurt them. It's not right to kill to get what you want. That's how Maple met her demise."

He flinches, "What!? H-how do you...."
Bingo!

"A certain lion told me. Such a shame that your mate died at your paws."

His blue eyes glint with proud satisfaction, "You truly are amazing.

Out of all of those idiot Primarina that Maui won't shut up about, you truly have impressed me. I'm glad to have met someone who thinks the same as me. You're not afraid to tell the truth, remind people of the wrongs they've done; to tell it to them straight. I can respect that."

I watch him carefully.
The way he speaks, the way his eyes never move away from mine...the way he manipulates people with his calm words.

"I don't need your empty praise," I say coldly.

His calm demeanor instantly changes, "You stupid Primarina! You're no better than your idiot father!"
He unsheathes his claws, "Do you know why I despise your father so much?"

I shrug, "Why?"

"He's incompetent. Too carefree. A danger shows up and he brushes it off like it's nothing. Are you saying thats what makes a good leader?"

I look him in the eyes, "I'm saying my father isn't a murderer."

He glances at Nightshade, "Some killers are closer than you think."

Nightshade glares at him, "I would never-"

The Sylveon slams her paw down on Nightshade's muzzle.

Tidal Wave unsheathes his claws, "I've had quite enough of all of you. And Maui. I know just the thing to get him to leave us alone."

I feel Tesla tense up next to me, a low, vicious, growl in his throat.

Topaz lashes her tail.

I scoff, "Listen, here, Tidal Wave. I'm not one to fight. It's not my favorite thing to do. I'd rather sit on the sidelines, but as much as I despise my family's happy attitude's, I won't let you hurt my father like that. Like you could kill me, anyways."
  
He glares at me and I smile, "I'm waiting."

He sits up and raises his tail in the air.

Almost immediately his Clanmates erupt into a crazed battle ready frenzy.

Their growls and yelps bring the forest to life.

Tidal Wave creates a whirlpool around them.

He jumps up on a tree stump, "Isa! I need to tell you something before I get to watch you die."

"I'm listening."

"The name of my Clan is WaveClan."

I laugh, "That name is not intimidating in the slightest."

He nods, "You're right. But, we don't need a scary name to show our strength. You have to show your enemies that yourself."

A bolt of lightning flashes in the sky.

Tidal looks up then smiles at me, "It was nice meeting you, Isa. Such a shame you have to die because of your father's mistakes. Be glad that the last thing you heard was the name of our Clan."

The last thing I see is a flash of blue before everything goes dark.
