3rd Person POV

"Wake up! Armin, hey! Can you hear me? Come on! Snap out of it! I need you to talk to me. Say something! There you are. You with me now? What's going on, where's your squad?" Connie shook Armin.

Armin didn't reply, "Alright let's get you on your feet. You shouldn't be out here alone. What the hell you got all over you, that's so damn slimy? What happened?" Connie added when Armin didn't say anything. "WAAAAH! YOU'RE WORTHLESS! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST DIE?! AH AHAHA AHHH! DAMN YOU!" Armin screamed.

"Hey you need to pull yourself together! Where is everyone?!" Connie asked. "Let it go, Connie. He's it..the rest of them are dead." Ymir spoke up. "Dammit, don't talk like that! We can't assume he's the only one!" Connie shouted back.

"Take a look around you, isn't it obvious? We can't waste any more time here with him. We've got to move on." Ymir said. "You're not making any sense! Why would the Titans ignore him?!" Connie asked.

"I don't know. Maybe they thought he was already dead or something? When you get right down to it that's the real tragedy here. Eren and the others bust their asses, and the one left standing is him." Ymir sighed.

"Alright that's it, bitch. I'm gonna shut your mouth up permanently!" Connie fired back. "Both of you stop it, right now! Look, we're all at the end of our tether here ok? We're seeing our friends being killed like animals. It's normal to be upset." Krista ran in front of Ymir.

"Look at my Krisa keeping the peace. You are so gonna have to marry me when all this crap is over!" Ymir laughed. "Yeah, well she best get a hold of that mouth. Alright come on, we need to get out of here. Are you able to stand?" Connie asked, holding out a hand for Armin.

Armin started mumbling things to Connie and walked to the edge of the roof. "But Armin?!" Connie said as he watched Armin maneuver away on his 3DMG. "Connie, hop to! We've been given orders to advance!" Someone shouted to Connie.

Connie walked away, following the others. 'I was wrong, this world hasn't become hell. It's been hell, just couldn't see it before now. We're condemned, all of us have been from the beginning. Strength prays on weakness. It's a very straight forward arrangement actually. M-my friends they, they tried. They knew how the world worked.

They wanted to be strong..for me. Someone who only brought them down. In their eyes I was a victim! I needed protection! But all I wanted was to stand shoulder to shoulder with them, to be strong like they were. To be something!' Armin thought.

"Eh- ah!" He shouted, making contact with a wall that he didn't see. He fell to the ground and curled up in a ball, letting a few tears escape his eyes. 'This is how it all ends up? Eren tried to protect me!' He thought again, until he heard a noise causing him to open his eyes.

"Hannah, what are you trying to do?" He asked Hannah as he walked over to her. "Oh God, Armin! Help me please! Franz quit breathing and I can't wake him up! He won't respond to CPR! Come on baby, you got this! Stay with me! Somebody help us!" She cried.

"Hannah please, it's not safe on the ground. We need to get you on a roof-" Armin said, "No I'm not leaving him like this!" Hannah shouted back. "You really don't understand do you? Hannah I'm sorry..Franz is....please stop! Please stop doing that! I can't! I can't take it! This is hell!" Armin had a few more tears run out of his eyes.

It was raining, (f/n) got up and started walking back to find her squad. Even though her squad only had Armin left now. It was dangerous for her to be walking along the streets, but she couldn't use her 3DMG with a dislocated shoulder.

It would be too difficult to maneuver around like that. She heard some talking on a roof above her, so she shot her anchors up there. "Armin, it's time to go!" She heard Sasha say. 'Looks like I found them.' (F/n) thought as she got on to the roof Armin was on. He sat against a wall with wide eyes not responding to the world around him.

Then they saw Mikasa show up. "Armin, (f/n)!" Mikasa exclaimed. "Are you two ok? You're not hurt are you?" She asked as she kneeled down in front of them. "We're fine." (F/n) replied, after seeing that Armin wouldn't say anything.

"What happened to your arm?" Mikasa asked her, standing back up. "A Titan slapped me, I hit the ground and dislocated it." She answered. "Where is Eren?" Mikasa asked again.

"Armin..?" Mikasa said, Armin looked up at her with wide eyes. Tears starting to spill out of his blue orbs. "They were the cadets of squad thirty four. Thomas Wagner, (I couldn't understand the two names Armin said lol) Mina Carolina, Eren Jaeger. These brave five appalled their duties. They died valiantly in battle. I'm so sorry, Mikasa. It should have been me that died. Not Eren. I couldn't do a thing! I'm worthless." Armin cried.

"Armin, calm yourself. We haven't got time for you to get emotional right now. On your feet. Marco, if we illuminate or bypass the Titans at HQ we can there refuel our gear. Allowing us to get back over the wall. Is that assessment correct?" Mikasa said.

"Well uh, yeah I guess so. Sure. But there's just too many of them out there. Even with you on point." Marco replied. "I can do it, I'm strong. Real strong. None of you come close! You hear me? I am a warrior! Know this; I have the power to slay all of the Titans that block our path. Even if I have to do it alone. As far as I'm concerned, I am surrounded by a bunch of unskilled cowardly worms. You disappoint me, you can just sit here and twiddle your thumbs and watch how it's done." Mikasa spoke with a stern voice.

"Wait, Mikasa! Are you out of your mind?! That's crazy!" A cadet shouted. "You can't be serious! Trying to take them out by yourself?" Another asked. "If I can't beat them, then I die. If I win, I live. And the only way to win is to fight!" She replied and took off, on her 3DMG.

*Skip, 1 week (I felt like the chapter was getting a little boring, so I'm skipping to a more interesting part)

(F/n)'s POV

We were riding to the new HQ, it was a condemned castle in a forest. I wasn't paying much attention but I just so happened to glance to the side and see one of my new team mates, Oluo bite his tongue.

I rolled my eyes, as we made it to the new HQ. I was standing next to Eren, by his horse. "Hey, the captain said we're going inside to clean." Eren and I both nodded and followed the others in so we could clean.

"I finished, I'll go get corporal Levi." Eren said before walking out of the room we were cleaning. I nodded and continued cleaning, making sure a spot wasn't missed.

3rd Person POV

(F/n) was still in the same room that her and Eren were cleaning. She didn't notice Levi enter the room, as she was walking she was looking over her shoulder to make sure she didn't miss a spot from when she was dusting.

She walked past the door and bumped into something just as she turned her head back around to the front. She looked down and noticed she was on the floor, on top of the corporal. "OhmyGodI'msosorrycaptain!" (F/n) quickly said, Levi not even knowing what she was saying because she said it so fast.

Levi raised an eyebrow at her appearance. He never really took the time to study her features. Sure, he would glance at her every once in awhile. He didn't even know she had an eyepatch, because he would never look at her!

"What happened to your eye, patchy?" He asked. 'Well there's my infamous nickname again.' She thought. "Uh..um." She didn't answer, (f/n) noticed the corporal looking at something. She looked to where he was looking, and noticed they were pelvis to pelvis.

(F/n) started to blush, and got off of him. "S-sorry." She muttered and helped him up. "I came to check on your cleaning." He said as he got up. "O-oh." (F/n) whispered.

"Your side is fine, but Eren's side is still filthy. I'll make him redo it, you can be done." Levi said before walking back out of the room. 'God that was embarrassing!' (F/n) thought as she walked out of the room and to the mess hall.

Sorry I didn't finish the expedition thing, I just felt like it wouldn't really include reader-chan much cause I didn't know how to include her in some scenes.
