*The Next Day*

(F/n)'s POV

Today was our day off, and everybody left already to go into town. I decided to stay since I didn't have anything special I wanted to do. Surprisingly, Eren, Armin, and Mikasa didn't leave yet. I saw them eating in the mess hall. They all had their regular clothes on, I wore my uniform since I wasn't a fan of wearing skirts or dresses.

'Just thinking about skirts and dresses makes me want to puke!' I left my jacket and straps off since I didn't need them. "Hey guys, what are you still doing here?" I asked them once I sat down with my food. "We wanted to make sure that you didn't want to come with us." Eren answered. "Oh, you didn't have to wait. Like I said last night; I'm staying here." I replied.

"That's fine." Armin smiled. "We'll see you later." Mikasa said, getting up with Eren and Armin. "Bye." I grinned, waving them goodbye. After a few minutes passed, Hanji burst through the door. "Morning." I greeted, without looking at her. "Hi! So what did you do after dinner last night?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Corporal Levi just wanted to talk." I replied. "Mmhmm, sure. I heard more of confessing and kissing in there." She giggled. "Were you stalking us?!" I raised my voice a bit. "Maybe." Hanji slowly said. "Whatever." I sighed. "Anyway, I'm going back to see Ms. Kataoka today. Care to join me?" She flashed a smile, sitting across from me.

"I don't know..." I thought for a moment, 'Should I go? I don't want to seem rude for not going. But Ms. Kataoka has a strange aura.' "Pleeeaaassse?" She begged, giving a pouty lip. "Fine, I guess I'll come." I hesitated. "Yay! We'll leave in an hour." She smiled really big, then leaving the mess hall. 'What did I just get myself into?'

I heard the mess hall door open again. I didn't bother looking over to see who it was. "Not going out today?" A familiar voice asked. "I wasn't, but now I'm going out to wall Rose with Hanji in an hour. I guess we're going to see Ms. Kataoka again." I answered, looking over to the side seeing Levi walking to my table.

"Doing experiments?" He furrowed his eyebrows, sitting across from me. "I don't think so. I think we're just visiting. Hanji wasn't very specific." I shrugged. "Oh. Why are you wearing your uniform? You know you can wear regular clothes." He said before taking a sip of his tea. "I hate skirts and dresses." I lightly chuckled.

'Oh God, I forgot all about what happened last night in Levi's office! I can't believe he confessed to me..and I did the same!' After I ate, I got up and went to my room to finish getting ready. I brushed through my (h/l) (h/t) (h/c) hair, and put it up in a messy bun (If you have long enough hair) before leaving my room and putting my Scouts jacket on.

I went out to the stables to get (h/n) ready for when we leave. "Hey, (boy/girl)!" I exclaimed, and started to saddle (him/her) up. A few minutes later, Hanji showed up. "Hi! You ready?" She asked, getting on her horse. "Yeah." I answered, getting on (h/n).

We went towards the gates that led inside to wall Rose. "So what exactly are we doing?" I asked Hanji once we got in Rose. "Just visiting, so you can get to know her better before the experiments she'll run on you." Hanji smiled.

"Ok." I quietly replied, looking down at the ground for a moment. "We're here!" Hanji shouted, getting off of her horse and tying him to the post. I did the same, then we went to the front door. After Hanji knocked, Ms. Kataoka answered the door.

"Oh Hanji, (f/n)! Lovely seeing you two again!" She smiled, letting us inside. We talked for awhile until Hanji said something, "While I'm here, I needed to pick something up from the market. I should probably do that before I forget! I'll be right back." Hanji got up and left for the market.

"Would you like some tea, dearie?" She smiled. "Oh..sure." I grinned, Ms. Kataoka got up and went into the kitchen.

3rd Person POV

'Now is a perfect chance to get her to stay longer, since apparently it's their day off.' Rani thought to herself. 'But how do I get her to stay...Oh! I got just the thing.' She grabbed a small bottle from one of the cabinets that contained a light purple liquid substance in it. Rani poured some of it in the tea cup, then mixed it with a tea spoon.

After getting (f/n)'s tea ready, she grabbed a piece of paper and wrote something down on it. She returned to the tea cup and grabbed it, walking back out to the dining room where (f/n) waited. "Here you are." She smiled at her, placing the tea cup on the table in front of her. "Thank you." (f/n) grinned.

(F/n)'s POV

I picked up the tea cup, and hesitated to drink it. She was in there for awhile, what was she doing? The tea tasted fine but it had a weird taste at the end...like chemicals? "I'll be right back." Ms. Kataoka said, getting up from her chair and going back into the kitchen. I nodded, as I watched her leave.

3rd Person POV

After secretly hiding (f/n)'s horse, Ms. Kataoka returned to the dining room and saw (f/n) unconscious, with her head resting on the table. "Looks like it worked. Now, time to get to experimenting and finishing what I started." She smiled evilly. While she was gone in the kitchen earlier, she stuck the piece of paper she wrote on the front door for Hanji.

Ms. Kataoka dragged (f/n) to her experimenting room in the basement, that had a table in the middle of it. It was dark and creepy down there with barely any light whatsoever. Hanji returned to her house, but before knocking she looked at the note she left.

Hanji,
(F/n) said she had to leave, and I had some things to attend to. I should be back soon. ~Rani

Hanji shrugged and got back on her horse, heading back to HQ where she would hopefully find (f/n) at. Back down in the basement, she was still knocked out from that liquid Rani put in it.

Rani was doing a bunch of tests to see how she has this ability. But (f/n) started to wake up. "What's happening?" She asked in a weak voice, staring at the ceiling.

"I decided to start the experiments earlier then planned." Rani answered, walking over to her. "Why..exactly?" She asked a little nervous. "Hanji told me it would be good to get a head start." Rani lied.

"Where is Hanji?" She looked around the room, seeing no other signs of life there. "She said she had to get back HQ." Rani answered, walking over to a table with a bunch of supplies on it.

"If only I would have known that you had the shielding ability, I would have kept you! But I guess I can still keep you here." Rani smiled evilly. "What is that supposed to mean?! What are you talking about?!" (F/n) shouted back.

"If you don't struggle, it won't hurt when I cut you open." She chuckled. "I'm not letting you dissect me, you freak!" (F/n) shouted again. It was no use, she stabbed her abdomen with a sharp knife and was laughing mechanically.

"AHH! I KNEW I COULDN'T TRUST YOU! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!" She shouted in pain. "I WAS THIS COSE TO FINDING OUT HOW SHIELDERS CAN PERFORM THIS ABILITY! BUT THAT GOT TAKEN AWAY FROM ME WHEN MY LAST TEST SUBJECT DIED FROM AN ILLNESS!" Rani shouted back.

"HELP! THIS WOMAN IS A PSYCHO!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. "Stop screaming before the MP hear you!" She whispered/shouted. "THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WANT TO HAPPEN! HELP ME!" (F/n) shouted again.

You're very welcome that I didn't make you wear a skirt/dress. Cause let's be honest, I'm pretty sure almost everyone hates them! (Including me)

I need some ideas, people! I know I already said I have big things planned for this book, but they can't happen yet. I wanted them to happen later in the book so it didn't seem like everything was rushed.

And Rani is a psycho..yup that's all I gotta say..
