           "Hello, citizens of Xaraba!" a man yelled. He had a fake smile plastered on his face, a white suit with a black tie, and curly brown hair.

           In one movement, everyone looked up at this man. He was standing on a stage covered with expensive-looking decorations and a banner that read: President Dallim's 150th Anniversary as Leader!

           I heard applause around me and joined in automatically. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see a GuardDog 2.0 gazing over the crowd. Not that I was worried about it. I had never broken the rules. They were there for a reason, and besides, we all had what we needed to be happy.

           One woman fell to the ground, dead. I ignored it. She must have been one of those pesky rebels anyway. What was the point of them? I could never understand their purpose. What did they mean when they said no one was human anymore? 

           I shook my head and chuckled. Of course we're human. Why would they think we aren't? I can feel my heart pounding if I run really fast. And my body requires all the things that living things need: air, food, water, the Formula... 

           Besides, this world we live in is more advanced than ever! Why would anyone want it to change?

It'll explain the numbers on the end of the names later. For now, just go with it.

Also, I apologize for how bad this chapter was but the next chapter is a lot better so you'll be happier when that comes out. Thank you so much for reading!
