We were all in lunch eating our food until Bree pulled out a hair the size of her arm out of the food making me gag

"Okay, heads up. stay away from Principal Perry," Bree warned 

"Trust me, that's the first thing I tell myself every morning when I wake up," Leo said

"Really? First thing I tell myself is shaving cream only looks like food," Adam said

"What's the matter Flo, nervous? You should be! One more mess up and I will take you out." Principal Perry shouted at Flo

"What are you looking at?!" She exclaimed at Leo

"You keep asking me that question and I'm still not sure I can give you an honest answer," Leo replied

"Mind your own business! If I wanted to be stared at all day I'd still be a catalog model for 'Bert's Chainsaws'," She said acting like if she had a chainsaw at the end

Adam then started to make a bunch of faces and Bree asked him, "Adam, what are you doing? Why do you keep making faces like you're taking a selfie?" 

"Cuz that girl Sabrina has been checking me out. Ooh, here she comes." He smirked, "Hey Sabrina couldn't help but notice you staring at me from across the room."

"Actually I was looking at Chase," Sabrina said, I felt my heart skip a beat as I looked at her, suddenly tightening my grip on my fork

"Sense of humor I like it.," He chuckled, going to continue talking when Sabrina turned her back on him and looked at Chase

"Chase, I wanted to talk to you about our chemistry project," Sabrina began

"Sure, I'll do it for you. Just give me your email and I'll send it to you when I'm done." Chase replied

"Umm no, I wanted to do the project with you. I need a partner and I was hoping you would team up with me." Sabrina continued

Adam, Bree and Leo all looked at me and glanced at Chase before looking at me again, I shrugged. I trust Chase with my whole heart, but its Sabrina I worry about, she's been known to be super flirty

"Chase, this is when you speak," Bree said.

"Umm yeah that sounds great. Meet at my house after school," Chase offered

"Perfect. Oh! Are you okay with this Scarlett?" Sabrina asked, looking at me with kind eyes, but something mischievous was laying behind them, she was up to something 

"Yeah, it's no problem," I said putting a fake smile on my face

"Okay cool," Sabrina said smiling at me and walking away

"Wow, that was awesome! No one has ever asked me to partner with them before. Especially a girl!" Chase said while walking away all happy 

Had he forgotten I've been his partner for projects this whole entire school year? Adam then grabbed the cup filled with ice and dumped it inside of his shirt

"What'd you do that for?" Leo asked. 

"I'm trying to wake myself up. If a girl likes Chase over me this has to be a nightmare," Adam shuddered, "Scarlett, how are you so cool about this?"  

"I trust Chase, but it's Sabrina I don't trust. Besides Chase is smart, I'm sure if Sabrina is up to something he'll shut it down," I spoke, letting go of my fork to see I had snapped it in half with my super strength

"Well, it doesn't look like you're cool about it," Leo spoke, I gave him a look

"Leo I'm fine! Chase is his own person, he doesn't need me hovering over his shoulder watching his every move while he's working with someone else. I guess I'm just not use to him hanging out with other people since our lives constantly revolve around one another," I spoke

"All I'll say is Sabrina better watch her step, last time another girl liked Chase Scarlett knocked her out," Bree smirked

"Bree, she was working with Krane."

"So?"

"So it doesn't count."

"Oh it counts."

As I was at the Davenport house I was dropping off my stuff to head to Mighty Med when I saw Chase and Sabrina working on their project together

"I can't believe how fast you're putting the molecular model together," Sabrina said surprised

"I can't believe you're still here," Chase replied

"You know what I like about you, besides being charming and funny," Sabrina began

"Well it would have to be something else because he's neither of those," Adam interjected

"You're nice, polite, and even though you're bionic, you don't feel the need to impress me with your muscles," Sabrina continued

"That might be because he has a girlfriend," I commented, crossing my arms over my chest angrily, she's up to something

"Also because he doesn't have any muscles," Adam interjected 

"Will you excuse me?" Chase asked and Sabrina nodded, he then pulled Adam and I to the side, "Will you give it up? She likes me, not you. And you said I would never get a girl besides Scarlett."

"This doesn't make any sense because just like Scarlett, Sabrina is way out of your league. She should like me. Okay? I gave her my selfie face, girls can't resist this," Adam said while making his selfie faces again

"And I'd thought you'd be a little more supportive, Scarlett," Chase frowned

"Chase it's not that I'm not supportive. I am! I'm glad you're not the one putting in all the work for once but... don't you find it odd? Sabrina has never spoken to you before and now you've been outed as bionic and suddenly she's all over you. It's gotta be more than a coincidence," I replied

"Scarlett just because you're jealous doesn't mean I can't do my project with Sabrina," Chase spoke

"I'm not jealous!" I argued, "I just don't trust her."

"Do you trust me?"

"With my heart, but--"

"Then trust that nothing will happen. It's just a project, nothing more," Chase reassured, I let out a sigh

"Ok, ok I trust you. Look I have to go, I'll see you when I get home?"

"Of course, have fun," he smiled, I went to give him a small kiss but then he turned back towards Sabrina

"Hey, sorry about Adam. Now what do you say we get back to our atom?" Chase said and Sabrina started laughing at his joke, I frowned at the way he ignored me and left to go to Mighty Med

"Uh Scarlett?" Kaz spoke

"Yes?"

"You can uh... let go of the weights now," Kaz pointed out

"What?" I asked confused, before looking down to see I was bending the weight, "Oh, that. Sorry."

I dropped the weight that was now curved completely as Oliver commented, "Either your losing control over your strength or your really mad. And neither of those are good."

"Scar what's going on?" Skylar asked, I sighed

"Look, I know I shouldn't worry about it but... Chase is doing a project with some girl tonight and he's super excited about it and I trust him..."

"But you don't trust the girl do you?" Skylar asked

"No! She's known to be super flirty! And ever since Chase came out as bionic more people have wanted to be around him which is fine, but I'm just not use to it."

"So then why are you here?" Skylar asked

"Because I have testing I need to--"

"Girl you better go get your man!" Oliver spoke up, we all looked at him weirdly, "Was that not what we were going to tell her?"

"Scarlett this girl sounds like a threat, and you need to take care of her," Skylar warned

"I can't kill her!" I gasped

"No! I mean you need to go back there and show her who she's messing with! She can't take your man!"

"Yeah! Go get your man!" Kaz cheered, we looked at him, "Oh come on, mine was better than Olivers!"

"Look, you need to go back home. Testing is not important, this is," Skylar reassured

I sighed, "Okay, I'm gonna head home and show Sabrina she has no idea who she's messing with."

I hurried home and as I walked through the door the house was trashed, and I saw Adam and Chase fighting

"Hey, let's play catch. I'll throw, you catch with your face!" Chase spoke, but it wasn't Chase

"Spike..." I gasped, dropping my bag on the ground

Spike was then throwing some rocks shaped like a frisbee at Adam but he used his laser eyes to both destroy the rocks and try and hit Spike, but Spike ducked and threw a vase. As Adam tried to shoot more lasers at Spike he flew right in front of Adam and held up a pan.  Adam tried to burn through the pan with his lasers to hit Spike but Spike used the pan and slapped Adam in the face, hit his stomach with the handle and hit his back with it. Spike then charged towards Adam and held him up

"Hey! Knock it off you two!" I shouted, rushing over to the two of them

Spike smirked, "Well looky here, my Princess has arrived."

"I am not your Princess," I growled

"Guys, please stop. You're scaring me," Sabrina spoke up, I looked over to see her hiding

"Don't worry sweetheart, it'll all be over soon, unless you want him to suffer whatever the lady wants," Spike said while bringing Adam down and smashing a vase over his shoulder

"Okay, that hurt," Adam groaned, before rushing at Spike and tackling him over by the couch, the wrestled for a moment before Spike slightly pushed Adam into the glass table, making the molecule model wobble

"Don't break the molecule!" Sabrina urged

"Whoa, that was close," Adam breathed

"Sure was," Spike said then moments later he started ripping the molecule apart

"No! Why would you do that?" Sabrina gasped

"Relax princess I'll make you a new one out of his spine." Spike said

"Ugh I can't believe you'd do this! You know, the only reason I was here was because I needed that molecule done and now you've ruined it!" Sabrina shrieked

"Wait what? You're... you're not here because you like him?" Adam asked

"Well not in that way!" Sabrina argued

"What do you mean?" I asked, she growled

"The only reason I'm here is because I wanted to take him away from you, don't you see? I could have easily done that molecule on my own!" Sabrina growled, I glared at her

"You were trying to do what?!" I growled

"I wanted to be you, little Ms. Perfect. Everyone thinks your so great! And you know, I always wondered why you were dating a loser like him. But when his bionics came out to the world I finally realized why you liked him, it was because he was basically 'Prince Charming!' And if I could just take him from you everything else would fall into place," She growled

"You little--" I began

"And you know what? I think the only reason he liked you was because you were all that was available at the time, he could do so much better than you," She smirked, my face fell

I knew she wasn't right but it didn't;t hurt any less. What if it was true? I was the only person who really showed any interest in him

As I was about to respond a hand gently grabbed my arm and pulled me back, looking up I was Spike in front of me, and as I was about to pull him back from possibly hurting Sabrina he spoke, "So that's what you were here for?"

Chase, he was back. Spike must have deactivated somehow, I gently laid a hand on his arm, "Chase--"

"And how dare you speak to Scarlett that way," he growled, gently taking his other hand and lightly squeezing my hand, "You know, the only reason you were here was because I wanted to brag to my brother about hanging out with a girl other than Scarlett, but you were sorely mistaken about me dating you instead of Scarlett."

"Chase you don't understand! Besides what does she have that I don't?" Sabrina gasped

"Everything. She's more than you'll ever be and I don't need to explain in detail every quality she has that you don't. But something that should never be in question is how much I love her," Chase spoke, turned around and taking both my hands in his, "And I'm so sorry if I made you feel inadequate today. I thought it was just a project but I should've listened to you, I'm sorry."

I smiled lightly, "I forgive you, I knew you were super excited."

He smiled and kissed my forehead before turning back to Sabrina with a glare, "I'll be doing the project on my own, Sabrina. You can see yourself out, and if you ever try anything like this again you will regret it."

"Yeah, Scarlett's more than you'll ever be. I don't know why I wanted your interest so badly," Adam added, "But if your friends show any interest..."

"Ugh! Whatever, this whole thing was a stupid idea anyway," She growled, glaring at all of us before exiting the house and slamming the door behind her

Scarlett 1, Sabrina 0

Chase turned back to me, "How can I make this up to you?"

I smiled lightly, "I have a few things in mind. Finish up my homework for the rest of the semester and you take me out for a date soon."

"Deal," he spoke, before capturing his lips with mine, I sighed contently as we broke apart

"Can you guys do that somewhere else? Gross," Adam gagged

"Adam you don't even wanna get started with me right now," I warned

"Well now that everything is cleared up can someone tell me what happened to the house?" Chase asked, oh that's right he doesn't know

"Wait, so you don't remember anything? Like you throwing me across the room?" Adam asked

"No," Chase replied

"Good cuz it never happened," Adam replied

"Wait. You activated my commando app on purpose didn't you?" Chase asked

"Of course I did look who you're talking to," Adam replied

"Adam I swear--"

"You know? I think I have the perfect way we can get back at Adam for what he did today. Chase you know where his boxing gloves are?" I smirked

"Yeah, but what does that have to do with anything?"

"Well how'd you like Adam to be your punching bag? I can use my telekinesis to hold him in the air," I suggest, Chase smirked as he pulled me in for another kiss

"Scarlett, I do not say it enough but I love you so much. You are literally the best girlfriend ever."

"Oh, you have no idea how much I needed to hear that. Now grab those gloves, it's boxing time."

"Don't I get a say in this?"

"Nope!"
