Satoru Gojo sat alone on the stairs, he couldn't wrap his head around the fact that—his world is crumbling down. He lost Ena Yaga tragically and now Suguru Geto was gone too.

"Why didn't you go after Geto?" Masamichi Yaga asked as he walked down the stairs.

"Are you sure you want to ask me that?"

"No, never mind. Sorry."

The snow-white hair boy slowly lifted his head up. "Sir, I'm strong, right?"

"Yes, you are unbelievably strong."

"But, if I'm the only strong one, it doesn't seem to be of much use. I can only save those who are ready to be saved."

The man regretted burdening the boys with the responsibility of Ena even though he knew there was a possibility that they'll all get attached and now because of his mistake, Geto has gone berserk. Jujutsu sorcerers sole duty is to protect non-sorcerers but it was the non-sorcerers who executed Ena for their dogmatic beliefs.

Gojo was so drunk on power that day after being attacked by Toji that he couldn't feel the impact of Ena's death like Geto did. Maybe, it was for the best because if both the boys went berserk, Masamichi didn't know what would've happened.

He finally exhaled, "Suguru made his choice."

Satoru Gojo stood in front of Ena Yaga's gravestone. His eyes landed on an small card tugged inside the blue hydrangeas. There's a note in Geto's handwriting. "You were my first & last spring of youth Ena-chan."

"We both loved her and we both lost her. You got her blessing and I got her curse." His best friend voice running through his mind.

If he'd payed more attention to Geto after Ena's death, things might be different. Or maybe, he's just lying to himself. Because things would never be the same without Ena Yaga and he'd distracted and distanced himself from everyone and everything, just to keep his mind occupied so he'd not think about her and how he failed to save her.

"Ena! I've always loved you."

A little too late for the truth. He thinks he will ask god why for the rest of his life and never will he come to understand it, even if god himself came in front of him and told him the reason. He don't think he would accept it. Some loss are too hard to bear and with great love comes great pain. And with great loss, comes the greatest pain of all. If love could've saved her, she would have lived forever.

The snow-white boy screamed in frustration. He have become the strongest after all but at what cost?

Love is the most twisted curse of all. And their love for Ena has cursed both Gojo and Geto.
