Encouragement
As Y/N and Satoru approached the training grounds, the commotion grew louder. Students were gathered in a semi-circle, their eyes wide with excitement and anxiety. The duo pushed through the crowd, curiosity piqued.
At the center of the circle stood a young boy, trembling slightly but determined, facing a shikigami—a summoned spirit conjured for training purposes. The shikigami was hovering ominously, its form flickering between shapes, reflecting the boy's uncertainty.
"Come on, Hiro!" one of the students shouted. "You can do it!"
Satoru chuckled. "Looks like someone's taken the initiative to test their skills, but it seems the shikigami is winning the intimidation battle."
Y/N stepped forward, assessing the situation. "Hiro, focus on controlling your cursed energy. You can't let fear dictate your actions."
The boy swallowed hard, his hands shaking. "I-I know! I just... can't seem to get it right!"
"Breathe," Y/N encouraged, walking closer to him. "Remember what we practiced. Channel your energy through your intent. You're stronger than you think."
Hiro nodded, his determination flickering like the shikigami. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes as he steadied himself. The energy in the air shifted, palpable and tense.
"Let's show that shikigami who's boss!" Satoru called out, injecting a playful tone into the situation. "You've got the Gojo brothers on your side!"
With renewed focus, Hiro opened his eyes, resolve shining through. "Right!" He raised his hands, concentrating hard. The shikigami began to waver, responding to his energy.
"Now, guide it!" Y/N instructed. "Shape it with your will!"
Hiro's energy pulsed, and for a moment, the shikigami responded, transforming into a more solid form. The students cheered, and Y/N felt a surge of pride for the boy's progress. But the shikigami, sensing the shift, lashed out, flickering back to its original shape and creating a wave of cursed energy that knocked Hiro off his feet.
"Hiro!" Y/N called, rushing forward, but Satoru was quicker, stepping in front of the boy and deflecting the attack with a barrier of energy.
"Nice try, but let's not let a little chaos get in the way of learning," Satoru said, grinning at Hiro. "You've got this! Don't forget, you're the one in control!"
Y/N felt the atmosphere shift as Hiro stood up, determination igniting in his eyes once again. "I won't give up!" he shouted, channeling his energy into the shikigami once more.
"Focus on your emotions," Y/N encouraged. "Your anger, your determination—let them guide you!"
With a fierce shout, Hiro concentrated, his energy radiating outward. The shikigami, sensing the shift in energy, began to form into a more stable shape, a reflection of Hiro's newfound confidence.
"Good! Keep it steady!" Y/N urged, watching the boy's progress with pride.
As the shikigami solidified, Hiro launched it forward, commanding it with newfound authority. The spirit raced toward the training dummies set up at the edge of the grounds, striking with precision.
The crowd erupted into cheers, and Y/N felt a swell of pride. "That's it! You did it, Hiro!"
Satoru clapped the boy on the back. "See? I told you that you had it in you! Just remember to trust yourself."
Hiro beamed, exhilarated. "Thank you! I couldn't have done it without you both."
Y/N smiled, feeling the satisfaction of teaching take hold. "You found your strength, and that's what matters. Keep practicing, and you'll only get stronger."
As the excitement settled and the students began to disperse, Y/N and Satoru exchanged a glance. "Another successful lesson," Satoru said, leaning against a nearby post with a casual smile.
Y/N nodded, feeling the warmth of the moment. "It's incredible to see them grow. Every small victory matters."
Just then, the sound of footsteps approached. It was Maki Zenin, a promising student known for her fierce determination. "What's next for us, Gojo-sensei?" she asked, crossing her arms defiantly.
"Next? More training!" Satoru replied, eyes glinting mischievously. "But we can't forget to have some fun along the way. Who's up for a friendly spar?"
Y/N laughed, knowing how Satoru enjoyed pushing boundaries. "Alright, but let's make sure everyone knows their limits first. We want to encourage growth, not create chaos."
As they prepared for the next session, Y/N felt a surge of purpose. They were not just teachers but mentors guiding the next generation of sorcerers. With each challenge they faced together, Y/N knew they were forging a path toward a brighter future, one filled with hope and resilience against the curses that threatened their world.
As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the training grounds, Y/N felt a sense of fulfillment wash over him. They were ready to face whatever came next, united as brothers, teachers, and protectors.
