•°•Yuri Plisestky's POV•°•
I finally calmed down and walked out of the bathroom. Gah, how embarrassing. Why did that even happen? How did that even happen? And to me? That kind of thing never happens to me.
I walked back to our table normally and sat back down in my seat. The guys stared at me and I began to feel uncomfortable, so I spoke up.
"Um. . .what?" I questioned.
"Well, are you okay. . .? You just sprinted into the bathroom at the speed of light. That isn't very like you, Yurio." Yuuri commented.
"I'm fine! I just. . .um. . ." I glanced over at Otabek, ". . .never mind! Never mind, it's nothing. Ignore me!" I crossed my arms and looked away from everyone. I hoped they would ignore me and continue what they were doing while I was away.
"Pfft. What a child." Yuuri sighed, as if he was my dad, "Anyway. . ."
The guys went back to talking- mostly Victor and Yuuri- as I remained quiet, trying to avoid eye contact with Otabek. But why was I doing this?
"So, uh..." Otabek began, facing me.
Oh no, he wants to talk to me! Remain calm Yuri, remain calm!
"Tell me about yourself, Yuri." He said, attempting small talk.
"Oh uh, I thought Victor talked to you about me?" I asked.
"Well, he said some things, I guess. But he mostly tried to persuade me to join you guys. So I don't really know much about you." He explained.
"Oh, I see."
I thought about what I could mention about myself. Probably the more important facts about myself should be best.
"Well. . .I'll just start out by saying I'm Yuri Plisestky, a freshman at our school. Um, I'm fifteen. . .uh. . .I can't think of anything else important." I said, full of awkwardness. Jesus, Yuri, pull yourself together! "Uh, what do you want to know about me, exactly?"
"Well, what are your interests? Simple."
Interests? Let's see. . . oh, easy!
"Oh! Um, I like cats! That was kinda obvious though...oh yeah,I can ice skate as well! Really well, actually." I replied with a smile on my face. I hope I sound cool to him.
"Oh, that's cool. I like ice skating too! That's a nice coincidence." Otabek commented with a smile. It was a nice smile.
Yes, he likes me! I think!
"Really? That's so cool!" I paused, "Oh, what else about me? Umm. . .I like to punch people I don't like! Like JJ! Fuck that guy. I sure taught him! Humph!"
That was kind of a weird fact but. . .oh well.
"Oh yeah, I watched that fight. I really liked how you stood up to JJ after he insulted you. That guy needed to be taught a lesson. And you really did show him."
Wait, does that mean that Otabek knew I existed before Victor told him about me?
"You knew about me before Victor told you about me?" I asked.
"I've seen you around a bit. It's hard not to notice you. Plus, I've caught you watching me from a distance. What was all that about anyway?" He asked me with a curious look.
Oh fuck! He knew about that! Oh god, what do I say? Shit, this is embarrassing.
"Um. . .about that, haha. . .um, I just kinda sorta think you're cool and all so I just enjoyed looking at you? Kinda?" My voice was full of awkwardness and embarrassment, "I-I just sorta admire you. . .I guess. Don't look into it to much."
Gah, now he'll think I'm some creepy stalker! Good going, Yuri.
"Oh, that makes sense. It's cool how you admire me. I think you're cool too." He said casually. I blushed.
"W-Why do you think I'm cool?" I asked, "You're the one with the awesome motorbike, cool hair, a leather jacket? You're awesome, and you think I'm cool!? Why?"
I should have stopped talking after the first part. . .
"Why I think you're cool? Well, we just seem alike in a way." He paused, "I also find it cool how when someone is rude or insults you, you're not afraid to fight back and show them who's boss. Some may say it's immature, but I like that about you. And I also really like your eyes. . .they look like the eyes a soldier would have, I can't explain it. They just have some kind of fire in them, which I really like." He paused, "Ahem, over all I think you're a cool person."
Wow. No one has ever told me those things before. Those words. . .they really mean a lot to me for some reason. . .I feel special after that. And he likes my eyes? I never thought my eyes were all that interesting. And he compared me to a fucking soldier? Holy shit.
"Oh. . .wow, thanks, I guess." I said with a smile appearing on my lips.
This is a strange feeling. . .
But it's a good one.
•°•Yuuri Katsuki•°•
Me and Victor sneakily listened in on Yurio and Otabek's conversation, silently giggling as they talked.
"Victor, they're getting along so well! Yurio looks so happy" I whispered across the table to Victor. He giggled.
"Hehe, how cute! I knew this idea would work! I'm the best at playing cupid, aha!" He fist bumped into the air.
I sighed, "They're not in love, Victor." I paused and looked back at the two with a smile, "But I think they might become friends."
"Little Yurio is growing up so fast, look how happy he is!" Victor said dramatically, tears in his eyes and everything.
"Oi, what's with the gross smiles, lovebirds?" Yurio snapped as him and Otabek looked back at us. Yurio looked annoyed.
"It's nothing!" I excused.
"Naw, it's something! We're happy about our son, Yurio, and how happy he looks with his new boyfriend! Oh, what a pure sight!" Victor dabbed his eyes with his hoody's sleeve. I couldn't tell if he was being serious, or acting to annoy Yurio.
"Boyfriend?" Otabek questioned with a blank face.
"Gross, you aren't my parents! And I'm not Yurio!" Yurio yelled, anger boiling inside him.
The waiter walked up to the table, ready to take our order. Yurio sat back in his seat.
-Time skip of rainbows and gayness~-
After breakfast, we talked about what we should do next to pass the time.
"We could. . . go to the mall?" Victor suggested, seeming unsure about his choice.
"Yeah! Hot Topic!" Yurio shouted with excitement.
"That's a bad idea, Victor. . ." I began, "Last time me and Yurio went to the mall, we stayed for hours and hours because Yurio wouldn't get out of Hot Topic no matter what I did. He didn't want to leave and was being really stubborn about it so it was a disaster. Trust me." I explained. Yurio groaned with disappoint. Otabek chuckled.
"Haha, that's like him!" Victor laughed, "But I guess that's not an option. What else then?"
"Hm. . ." We thought.
"Maybe we can go to an arcade? I mean, if you two are into video games. I know Yurio is." I suggested.
"Oh, good idea! I'd love to go to an arcade!" Victor cheered.
"Sure. That sounds fun." Agreed Otabek.
"Yes, now I can possibly win a tiger in the claw machine! Hahaha!" Yurio laughed manically, like some evil maniac. Sigh, why am I friends with this guy.
Victor laughed, "Yurio, why are you so adorable?"
"I'm not adorable! I'm a mighty tiger! A mighty tiger that will beat your ass at those competitive arcade games!" Yurio sassed. He smirked at Victor.
"Is that a challenge? I accept, tiny kitten!" Victor challenged. He honestly sounded like JJ for a second.
I sighed, "I bet on Victor then."
Yurio gasped, "Traitor! Otabek, bet on me!"
"Uh, okay."
"I'll for sure beat you, old man!"
"Old man? Excuse me?"
"You have gray hair!"
Victor gasped and combed his long hair with his fingers, "It's silver! There's a difference! At least my hair isn't an emo mess!"
The two boys continued to fight while me and Otabek just sighed.
"Okay, let's just go already."
•°•
"We're here! Good ol' awesome-amazing arcade!" Victor cheered as we stood in front of the references to the arcade. The flyer next to the door said that it also had a laser tag arena, a bar (but all of us are too young to drink anyway), and a major rock climbing wall. Guess Victor chose the right place.
"I'm so going to kick everyone's butt at laser tag. I don't care if it's childish, I'm going to win that game with a high score!" Yurio shouted, sounding cocky.
"Boi, are we about to have the same argument all over again? Because I'm satisfied with doing so!" Victor snapped with a grin. I guess Victor had a competitive side. Obviously.
"Ugh, boys, let's just go inside already."
We entered the arcade place and sound filled the room. The area was mostly packed with teenagers and adults. The sounds of what seemed like hundreds of arcade machines could be heard. Yurio looked psyched.
So after we bought tokens and all those boring things that no one needs to know, Yurio and Victor raced into the arcade section to try their bet. We ran to catch up with the two competitive teens. They stopped at a competitive arcade game and gave each other the death glare.
"I'm about to kick your ass, old man!" Yurio screamed in his face, seeming say too cocky.
"No way a tiny freshman can beat me!"
The two began arguing again which was really annoying.
"Just start already!"
They each inserted a token into the slot and the game began. Me and Otabek just stood on the sidelines and watched, not wanting to see the outcome.
Victor ended up demolishing Yurio at the game. He demanded a rematch and ended up beating Victor that time, they decided that the best two out of three would win so they played a final round. In the end, Victor won. He cheered with joy as Yurio was literally a boiling ball of anger and swears.
"FUCK IT'S NOT FARE AUHHH!" Yurio screamed, kicking the machine. "STUPID THING IS RIGGED!"
"Haha! Bow to your sensei~!" Victor smirked with delight.
"Screw that!" Yurio walked off to do his own thing, I assumed. Otabek followed him.
"Ha! Wasn't I the king, Yuuri~? Are you swooning over me yet?" He asked as he leaned his arm on my shoulder.
"Stop. You sound like JJ."
•°•Otabek Alton's POV•°•
I followed Yuri as he walked away from Victor and Yuuri. He noticed I was following him and turned around. His expression lit up.
"O-Otabek! (wow, he actually followed me?) Um, so do you like arcades?" He asked me.
I nodded, "I guess. Me and my sister use to go to arcades all the time. I may not seem like the video game type, but I'm quite fond of them." I explained.
"Oh, neat! Another thing in common then?" He laughed awkwardly. I guess he's still getting use to talking to me. He cleared his throat, "So..."
Maybe he's not very social. I'm the same way. I've never really been known for talking a lot, unless I was with someone I was close with.
Yuri looked around the arcade to search for something to do. His eyes lit up with excitement when his gaze met a claw machine full of animals. And there was a tiger plush in it, hence why he looked so happy.
"Fuck yeah! Just what I came here for!" He ran up to the machine and stared at the tiger inside it, "I'm gonna win that thing, just you see!"
He entered another token into the slot and maneuvered the claw just above the tiger plush and pressed the button. He claw reached down and grabbed the tiger for a second, but then it fell.
"Shit! I hope it isn't rigged!" Yuri eagerly tried again. Once again, the claw dropped the tiger. Yuri began to grow anxious and ended up using all of his tokens just to get the tiger he loved so much. It's kind of funny how passionate he is about cats. But I like that about him.
"STUPID PIECE OF SHIT!" Yuri screamed at the machine. He kicked it, "Ugggghhhh! Today is NOT my lucky day."
"Uh, maybe I can try to get it for you." I suggested. As I stepped up to the machine.
"The machine is rigged but...shoot for it."
The process repeated, the claw picks up the tiger, the claw drops it, then Yuri complains. It's not a nice sight to see Yuri upset, I hope I can get the tiger and make him happy.
Eventually, by the fourth try, the tiger plush barely made into the box and we got it!
"YES!" Yuri cheered with excitement and reached trough the door and grabbed the tiger plush. He hugged it and smiled, "Another tiger added to the collection."
I chuckled, "Glad you're happy."
He cleared his throat and looked up at me with a smile, "Thanks, Otabek!"
He had a nice smile.
"You're welcome." I smiled back at him.
There was a silence. Yuri coughed to break it.
"So! What next?"
"We're at an arcade, Yuri. That should be obvious." I teased.
He blushed, "Oh yeah. I knew that! Humph!"
"So...?"
"Okay, let's go!"

Auuuhh, my sons are so cute 😭
I honestly don't care if anyone reads these or not but I still like to make a note after I write a chapter. So thank you for continuing reading! And I hope you continue to read because I have some major fluff and angst planned ;) Maybe some smut too. But that depends on how I feel.
Here, have a shipping chart I made 😂
So tell me how your day is/was. :3 Mine is going fine. I'm slowly being pulled into the Hamilton fandom. Someone kill me.
There will also be a million references in this book and I've already made a bunch of them.
