Jungkook's P.O.V 

This severe headache is killing me . I still can't tolerate this loss. Why hyung ? why you left me like this? Why you left the world like this? Do we did anything wrong?  Why will you do suicide? Ahh I can't take this anymore. 

While thinking all that I turned lying to the opposite side. All of the people is concerned about me now.. They are saying not to bother myself more about this. But how can I stay calm? Suddenly my phone rang. It was Taehyung. We also went to office from my house sometimes ago. I picked the call.

" Hello, Tae?" 

" Jungkook, are you alright now?"

" Yeah, Kinda" I sighed.

" I didn't want to bother you about this but we got the post mortem report from the forensic department. DO you want to come or should I send it to you?"

" Oh ! You got that? Wait I am coming!"

" Listen Jungkook, If you feel alright now then you come, otherwise you should not come now"

" No, Taehyung! I have to go now. I must know what happened and it is also my duty to the nation and NIS"

" Jungkook, you should think as a human now , not as a cheif of CID. You are not doing well and I don't want you to be more quesy.  And I am saying this to you as your best friend not as your collegue."

" I know buddy, you will think the best about me but if I don't know the whole matter, I will be more tensed. That will not help me to get myself back from this shock" My voice went heavy.

" That's true too. Ok then , come . I am waiting for you." He sighed and said that.

" Yes I am coming just wait."

I hunged up the call and changed my clothes. Finally the report is out . I will be able to know the real cause about my brother's death. I am sure it is not a suicide. He can't do this! There is something else in this case. And I will know it out. Thinking all that I grabbed the car key and went to my car. I sat inside and was about to start the car, suddenly my phone rang. I checked, it was Yan.

" Hello Yan?"

" Kook, what are you doing now?" her voice sounded very concerned.

" I am going to the headquarter. The post mortem report is finally out from the forensic department. I am going to know the truth."

" It's so fast. Anyways Kook please pace yourself first. Make yourself healthy then go to any sort of work. Already you are not well but you are rushing towards your work like this. You should be calm and slowly do everything."

" I know Yan but if I don't get it now more I will suffer. So... "

 I didn't had anything to say more than this, I know what she is saying is right but I can't stay calm at home like this.

" Ok Kook, I know how you are feeling right now. All unknown emotions are storming up in your heart. You are feeling extremely bad but you have to go and know the real matter. It is your duty as well as towards yourself and family too. Being a protector of the nation is not easy, you are now bound to do that for NIS too as you promised them. Well I don't know much about your occupation but I can relate some with my occupation. It's not easy at all and honestly kook I feel you . I want to ease you in this situation that's why I am saying all this to you. So that you can put yourself at ease and do your job as you always used to do. Your blood relation or your emotions should not be obstacle in your duty. Maybe that's too rude for you now but believe me Kook I mean it in a positive way and cherish your relations too."

" Your words really put me on ease Yan.. I am much inspired ! You understood me " I was amazed with her this counciling skill.

" I am always there to understand you and to put you at ease dear"  She chuckled.

" I am happy to have you , you always make me relieved at the time of my anxiousness."

" Ok then , I got a call from patient , I have to go now! Bye "

" Bye Yan!"

I am feeling much good now. She is damn good at councilling , well she is a doctor though. She has to had this skill. 

I started the car and headed towards the headquarter. Almost in 15 minutes I reached there. I straightly went to the forensic department and called taehyung. He came in a minute .

" Where is the report?" 

" Here you take it." He handed me the report with a cold expression.

I took it and opened the envelop and finally it was revealed in front of me. But what I saw in the report I was not even ready to see that. His all the organs were damaged by a drug named " Methadon" . My eyes widen out and I was losing by balance to stand. I literally sat on the floor and held my head with a big frustation. 

" I knew that it is not suicide but why he was killed like this? It can be clearly said he was killed by someone!" My voice almost cracked while saying that. 

Taehyung came and sat beside me. He held my shoulder tightly .

" I was scared of this Jungkook. I knew that you will be more broken watching this report."

" Taehyung, is there any mistake in the report?  Anyhow for being fast they did any mistake?"

" Jungkook... You know our forensic department can't give a wrong report about him"

I sat silently for some moments. I was totally blanked out what should I say, what should I do! Many things were storming up in my mind and I couldn't catch anything. My brain stopped working. But after realizing everything I gathered some courage to speak.

" I can't be broken, I have to know the whole! Who did this to my brother! Why they did it...I have to find them out and punish them!" I said with anger .

" That's the spirit Jungkook. You have to work like the cheif now! You have to find out the culprit"

" Yes I must!" I stood up looking at the report . 

" Well Jungkook , I am tensed with the thing that this was done by methadone! This rare drug!"

" Yes this drug came only some months ago. And as far I know everyone can't use it. Everyone don't have the permission to use this drug!" 

" I have heard that only some of the hospitals of our city has the legal permission to use it"

" I can't understand then how it is used to do a murder? I mean I don't think so it can be used now illegally.. because it came only a few months ago.."

" I think we should first collect the name of the hospitals which are legally permitted to use this drug. For it's rare quantity in our country it is not used in all hospitals"

" Ok then , tell our people to start investigating about this" I said with a cold expression. 

" Ok , I should go and tell them physically until then you stay here"

" Yes I am here don't worry . I am fine here. " I left a deep breathe.

Taehyung went from the room. I thought I should tell my Mom and Dad. But I don't have the courage to tell them that it is a murder . I thought a lot about it but I don't have the courage to tell them by myself. I can't ! At that time I got a call, it was from the CEO of NIS. I recieved it.

" Hello Sir, Cheif from CID speaking!"

" Jungkook I heard that it was a murder? "

" Yes sir it is a murder" I said sadly.

" You should find out the culprit as soon as possible. " He said in voice of order.

" Yes sir we have started our investigation already" I sighed under my breath.

" That's good. This case holds the reputation Of whole CID and NIS" 

" I am always here to keep it's reputation best" 

" Good " 

He hunged the call. I just thought for a moment what job I am doing? Even I can't cherish my blood relations, my duties to them for this. I have to serve the nation forgetting everything. But the moment I changed my mind . I made my mind ready to face whatever happens. I saw someone entering the room. It was Mr. Kim Donghyun, CEO of our agency. 

" Sir! " I saluted him humbly .

" I got the news that it is murder. Jungkook, are mentally prepared to handle the case? Or should I give it to anyone else?" 

" No sir , I will handle the case, I will not involve my emotion" I said strongly.

" If you can pace yourself then it is good but I specially came to inform you that this news shouldn't be public at all. It's an order NIS too. This case shouldn't be showed in any news channel. "

" Ok sir I will talk with the media managements head. "

" Ok then do your work sincerely though I shouldn't tell you that. You are always most sincere in case of your job and I know young man you think about your duty towads nation first" He held my shoulder and smiled slightly.

" Yes sir! I will try my best as always" I tried to smile with a heavy heart.

He left the room while I gave the instructions to the media managementments head . I strictly told them to obey this. Meanwhile taehyung came with a list . 

" Here is the list of hospitals who are permitted to use this drug "

" Ok I have an idea, collect all the drug bottles from all the hospitals. If some of it is used , then I am sure there will be something wrong in that. We have to do the test too."

" That's Good! Then let me call the people to go in a team to every hospitals."

" Yes , what is the time now? It's 5 pm . Ok then send some people there and I am " 

As I was speaking I got a call from Yiana.  I took the call. 

" Hello Yan?" 

" Yes Kook, whats the report? Is it suicide?" she asked curiously,

" No yan It's not suicide!"

" So what it is?" 

" Well Yiana I can't tell you, I am strictly restricited to say anything about it"

" You can't tell me too? " She asked with confused tone.

" I am sorry but I actually can't Yiana. I mean I trust you to tell everything but I can't deny my order " 

" Okay I understand but I just want to know are you handling the case?" 

" yes I am.  I will not emotionally involve myself. I have to work as a worker of a country as always I used to do" I sighed.

" Just take your care Kook! " I heard her deep breath. 

She hunged up the call. 

This maybe offend you Yiana but I don't have any way to disrespect the order of CEO .

" Its being hard for you Jungkook" Taehyung said with a sad face.

" I will fight even how hard it turns " I said looking in his eyes.

Author's P.O.V 

Jungkook sent some people for taking the bottle of methadone from all the hospitals. He worked on some files and finally went to house at night. He was not ready to face his parents but he also don't have any other way . He has to face them. He went to house and saw his Mom is holding a photo of his brother. He didn't went to her but noticed her from a distance . She was wiping her tears silently. He couldn't hold her tears too , he bit her lip to control him from crying but it was getting hard for him. At that moment he felt a hand on his shoulder . It was his Dad. He hugged his Dad crying badly. He started to pat him. 

" You need to be strong dear" he heard her mother's voice from behind. 

He turned to his mother and wiped his tears. 

" Mom , Dad I promise you I will find out the murderer and give the punishment he desreves"

He understood the importance of his this responsibility instead of being more broken he held himself strong again. He went to bed and he recieved a message from Yiana. 

" I am being childish but I love you <3"

He smiled watching that . It made him feel good actually , he smiled with teary eyes as well.

" I love you and your this childishness yan " He texted back .

" Have sound sleep ok? You have to work hard! Fighting and Good night"

" Good night ^~^ " He texted her and closed her eyes with full of tiredness.

At Morning

" All the bottles are tested and we got problem in 2 bottles" Taehyung rushed to jungkook with the report in his cabin.

" Eureka! I knew that this will help" He said being excited.

" This two hospitals are " Seoul National Hospital " and " Kangbuk Hospital" . In one of them the quantity was less and another was mixed with water."

" Okay then we will be going to both hospitals single. You go to "kangbuk" and I am going to seoul national" He said being ready to went there.

" Okay,, oh doesn't Yiana works in that hospital you are going?" He suddenly said while walking towards the car.

" Oh yes I just remembered! That's good then , she will be able to help me there"

" Yes I also took information that some specific doctor are allowed to use this drug . We have to find out that too going there" 

" Oh that's then easy to investigate for us" He said that with a smile on his lips.

Both of them went to the hospitals accordingly. Jungkook went to Seoul national hospital and waited there for half an hour to meet with the manager of the hospital. Meanwhile he asked in the reception looking for Yiana , they told him she is in surgery theatre now. He didn't asked them anything more . He was sitting and he could finally meet the manager of the hospital. He entered his cabin and greeted him. Both of them bowed and the manager asked him polietly what is the matter.  He explained him everything and finally got the consent of him to do the question answer thing with the doctor's who are permitted to use this drug. He got the legal paper of that permission and saw 2 doctors have that permission . His eyes widen out when he saw Yiana is also one of them. He left a breath of relief that she will be also able to help him in this case . Manager ordered his assitant to wait them for in a room . 

" Thanks alot sir ! It will help us much!" He shaked his hand with him.

" Our pleasure sir . We are able to help you "  He bowed and jungkook went on her way to meet the doctors.

He entered the room and saw Yiana and Dr. Minhyuk is sitting. Yiana's eyes widen out when he saw Jungkook.

" Jungkook you?" She crumped her eyebrows being confused .

" Yes me.. " He closed the door and sat on a chair in front of them.

" What happened actually why you called us?" Dr. Minhyuk said .

" Actually it's about a case we are investigating. We heard that you two have the legal permission from goverment to use methadone right?" He started his session.

Hearing that Yiana just got blanked out.

That means he is investigating on that case? The person who was killed using methadone by me? Wait a minute that means he is Jungkook's brother!! I killed his brother! What should I do now?

Thinking all that her head started to spin. She was not in state of talking . She was being severely nervous and sweating badly. She couldn't even hear what Jungkook is saying . Suddenly she spoked.

" Kook , I want to talk with you personally for sometimes!" She almost said that in a raised tone .

" What? why? I mean what happened Yan? Why you are sweating like this?"

Both of them were looking at her with tensed eyes.

" I want to talk with you personally right now! Dr. Minhyuk? Will you kindly leave us alone for sometime?" She said like she is ordering. 

Jungkook became confused with her this sudden behaviour. As Dr. Minhyuk left the room Yiana spoked .

" Jungkook I killed your brother with methadone " She closed her eyes while saying that. 

She don't know what will happen next. But she can't keep it in her now, She surrendered. 

" What?  Are you in your sense Yiana?" He literally screamed.

" I am in my full sense Kook" As she said she covered her eyes with hands crying severely.
