Unlike Thea, Georgia really had no need to dress to impress. What you see is what you get.

So, she just wore a regular black shirt, black skinny jeans, and a denim jacket with a flannel tied around her waist.

After Todd's mother had somehow roped her into helping make some potato salad and then Todd's sister, Tara, needed help with some clothing thing since Tara was a fashion designer. Georgia had called Aiden to let him know that she and Todd were going to be late.

Georgia knew that Aiden would relay the message to Thea because Aiden was grossly in love with her (Thea, not Georgia).

So, after Todd's family let them leave, they headed on over to the Gilmore residence.

"I wonder what Sage and Aiden see in Thea," Georgia said. Todd looked over at her sharply. "I didn't mean it like that. I mean, how did she get two guys to fall in love with her?"

"With Aiden I can understand since they both have mommy issues," Todd said. "Aiden's mom loved him too much and Thea's mom loved her too little."

Georgia guessed that made sense, "What about Sage?"

"Well, Thea is hot," Todd said.

"Yeah, true," Georgia agreed.

"And Sage has daddy issues," Todd pointed out. "Makes perfect sense that he'll end up with a girl with mommy issues. Aiden's just along for the ride."

"Just be glad that you weren't there to see the whole Sage-Aiden-Thea debacle," Georgia said with an eye roll. "That was a mess."

Todd hadn't been there for that mess, but he had seen some of it, with Sage and Aiden flirting with Thea and how she flirted back with them, then how Aiden suddenly stopped flirting with her, because 'she'll choose Sage anyway' and how Thea seemed upset by that development, but then one day she revealed that she choose both boys.

It was a mess, but at least it had been resolved with the townies wondering how one guy can just allow his girlfriend to date another guy.

They finally got to the Gilmore house and Todd knocked on the door. It took a moment, but Thea had answered the door. She was always happy to see her friends, it just made Georgia wonder why Lorelai tossed Thea to the wolves.

Maybe Lorelai expected Thea to not survive, but what Lorelai didn't realize was that Thea had become friends with the leader – Georgia.

Sure Thea drew in people, but Georgia was the one that decided if they were to become friends or not. It was how they worked and operated and so far it was going great.

"Hey," Todd greeted as they walked into the living room.

Georgia closed the door behind her.

"He's in Rory's room right now," Thea explained. "He developed a crush on her after one word." She seemed to find it amusing.

"That's a shock," Georgia said with a roll of her eyes. She knew that Rory was beautiful – and so was Thea and Lorelai, but that was just ridiculous. Just one word?

Thea led them to Rory's room. A guy was wearing sweats, like he couldn't even be bothered to dress up for the dinner that Sookie had prepared for him.

Yup. He clearly wasn't worth her time.

He was even looking at her weirdly.

Definitely not worth my time, Georgia thought.

"This is Georgia and Todd," Thea said to Jess.

"Oh, so that's Todd," Jess replied. "Belle told me a lot about him."

Who the hell was Belle? Georgia thought.

"Whose Belle?" asked Rory.

"Liberty," Jess said.

"Ever since he found out what the Liberty Bell is, that's all he ever calls me," Liberty explained.

"I called her Statue once," Jess said, looking like he was recalling a painful memory. "Never again."

And I'm sure he deserved it, Georgia thought.

"And I'll do it again," Liberty warned.

Georgia smiled at her friend, That's my girl.

"Okay, we really need to get Jackson away from the lemons now, so we're moving the feast in the living room," Lorelai explained from the doorway holding two bowls.

Georgia looked at Sage who went to go help with Aiden and Todd going as well.

"Be right there," Rory said.

Jess went to the window and pushed the curtains aside, "So, do these open?"

"You need to unlatch them first," Thea told him. "And then push them open."

"Great," replied Jess. He unlatched the window to open it. "Shall we?"

"Shall we what?" asked Rory.

Georgia thought, Wasn't it obvious what he wanted to do?

"Bail," replied Jess.

"No," replied Rory.

"Why?" asked Jess.

Georgia felt anger towards this guy. Sure, he could at least try to act like he wanted to be there even though he didn't want to. He was just wasting food Sookie made. She explained, "There's nothing to do during Tuesday nights. Haven't you noticed that we're stuck in the asscrack of nowhere?"

"So, we can walk around or sit on a bench and stare at our shoes," Jess said, focusing on Georgia in a way that made her uncomfortable.

She had no patience left for this guy, "Sookie made a whole bunch of food. Can you stick your Me vs. the World mentality aside for one whole hour and eat the goddamn food that she happily made for you? That'll be great, thanks." She stomped out of Rory's room. She hated guys like that. They got under her skin.

And this guy was a try-hard. He was not becoming a member of her family that was for damn sure.

Aiden, Todd, and Sage looked at Georgia.

"Hopefully you didn't give him a bloody nose," Aiden said.

Thea, Liberty, and Rory finally came into the living room. However...

Georgia asked, "Where did the wannabe go?"

"He went to get a soda," Rory said.

Poor little Rory. She really had no clue that Jess went for the beer instead of a soda. Even Georgia knew that as she made a plate. It wasn't in her job description to go babysit him.

Sookie asked, "You know ham was originally made out of rice?"

"What?" asked Jackson.

Sookie hummed an agreement.

"Sookie," Lorelai warned for whatever reason.

Luke finally noticed and asked, "Hey, Rory, where's Jess?"

"He's getting a soda," Rory repeated.

That was a bit ago.

Thea went to go check.

Georgia rolled her eyes. She loved Thea – platonically – but that soft spot of Thea's was going to be the death of Georgia. Sure she knew about Liz's inability to care for Jess – birds of a feather flock together after all – but Thea's situation was at least far better than Jess's.

Thea had friends, Annette, and even Luke to turn to so she had stability while Jess most likely didn't.

Everyone had their own spot and reasoning for being in Georgia's pack. Thea and Aiden had their mommy issues, Liberty's mother was deceased, Sage had his daddy and drug issues, and Todd was...Todd. Todd was doing his own thing – besides his mother robbing banks. Craig was the oddball who occasionally hung out with them but seemed to prefer to do his own thing. Georgia would've preferred Craig to be a part of her pack instead of Jess.

Georgia guessed that Thea thought she could 'save' Jess. Georgia would like to see Jess try to be saved, but he probably refused.

"Thea's too sweet for her own good," Georgia told Sage and Aiden.

Lorelai went to the kitchen as Thea came back.

Liberty noticed that Jess wasn't back, "Where's Jess? I made him a plate."

"He's out back," replied Thea.

"Oh," Liberty replied. "I should give him this food."

"I'll wait until my mom comes back in," Thea told her.

"You know, I'll give him the plate of food," Luke said, taking the plate from Liberty.

"Okay," replied Liberty.

Luke went into the kitchen, but it sounded like an argument erupted, leaving everyone to awkwardly look at the kitchen. Sookie and Jackson looked awkwardly at each other.

Luke loudly said, "Oh, you have two kids, so you know everything, right?"

"I have two kids, so yeah, I know a little more than you do," Lorelai replied.

Hilarious coming from the way Lorelai treats Thea.

"You know, you ever think maybe you just got lucky with Rory, especially with Thea." Luke said, "I mean, I wouldn't even say that you raised Thea at all. God knows that Annette was the one that tried to take care of her."

Georgia smirked at that while Liberty snickered.

While Annette got ready to go to work at the hospital, Georgia said, "I don't understand why Thea wants him to become a member of my pack."

"Thea just wants everyone to have a family because she doesn't have one," Annette said. "She sees a guy who doesn't have a family and wants him to feel that love she has with you and your friends."

"He can create his own pack and leave mine out of it," Georgia grumbled.

"Hey, play nice," Annette told her. "And if he hurts physically or sexually, then you can destroy him."

"Okay, fine," Georgia said. "I'll play nice...for now."

Annette smiled at her, "Good girl."

Liberty showed Jess around the school, though he looked like he didn't want to be there. During lunch, he looked like he'd rather not be there hanging out with his younger cousin (by a couple of months) and her friends.

That made two of them – Georgia didn't want him there at her table either, but her mom told her to 'play nice' so she was 'playing nice' when it reality she wanted to punt him to a different table so they can deal with him.

Jess took out of a book to read while he picked at his lunch clearly set on ignoring them.

Good.

Georgia can ignore him too.

"So what's going on after school?" asked Aiden.

"I got archery practice and I have to go to the bakery," Thea said. She was sitting in between Todd and Sage.

"I have to work at the diner," Liberty said, which wasn't anything new.

Georgia had to remind herself that she was 'playing nice' so she looked at Jess trying hard not to scowl at him. "What about you? What are you doing after school?"

Jess shrugged at her and Georgia rolled her eyes. He wasn't harming her physically or sexually, so she can't pour her carton of chocolate milk down his shirt because that was rude. She looked at Aiden, who was staring at something that was going on behind Sage.

"Someone set the table on fire," Aiden said.

Georgia angled her head to look. Yeah, the table was on fire.

A teacher ran over to spray the table with a fire extinguisher.

Jess seemed confused by how everyone was acting normal, "Does shit like that always happen here?"

"Yes," everyone replied.

Although after school while Thea, Sage, and Aiden took off, Luke appeared, like he wanted to know how Jess's first day of school was.

So, Liberty went over to Luke and Jess, most likely to see what was up. Georgia inched closer with Todd tagging along.

"Hey," Luke said. "How was school?"

"Great," replied Jess.

Luke asked, "You learn anything good?"

"Oh, yeah, tons of things," Jess replied. "I've got gold stars plastered all over my forehead."

Georgia scowled because can this guy any more douchey? Probably.

"I had an interesting call today," Luke said. "Wanna know who it was from?"

"Not really," Jess replied.

"God, was it Doose?" Liberty said, "What does he want?"

"Yes, Libby, it was from Taylor Doose," Luke said. To Jess, he added, "You know he owns the market."

"If you say so," Jess said.

"He said you came in today," Luke continued.

"He did?" replied Jess.

Luke continued, "And he said you took some money out of a little donation cup to help repair the bridge. I told him he was crazy, you wouldn't do that, you weren't a thief, that he was just trying to start trouble, then I hung up on him. But don't get me wrong, I enjoy hanging up on Taylor, and he is crazy, but I was just wondering if maybe any of the other things he said were true."

Georgia glowered at Jess, because of course he did become more douchey.

Liberty was staring at Jess, who asked, "What do you think?"

Luke said, "I think that if you tell me that what he's saying is not true, then I'm gonna believe it's not true."

Jess said, "Okay, it's not true."

Luke stated, "That doesn't sound very convincing."

Jess snapped, "Look, what exactly do you want from me? You bring me here to this place, you put me in a school that says the Pledge of Allegiance in six different languages, two of which I've never heard of before. You take me away from my home, my friends, and now you want what from me?"

Luke said, "I'm trying to help you."

Jess said, "Well, stop trying. Stop talking to me, stop following me, and stop asking me questions. Just stop."

Liberty was awkwardly looking at Georgia and Todd.

Luke said, "That's what you want?"

Jess said, "Yes."

"That's really what you want?" asked Luke.

Jess said, "Yes."

Luke said, "Fine, you got it."

Jess replied, "Thank you."

Luke said, "You're welcome."

Jess, Luke, and Liberty started crossing the bridge with Liberty following behind.

"God, I'm glad he's not my friend," Todd said to Georgia. "He sounds insufferable."

"I know," Georgia agreed. "I just want to strangle him."

Then Luke pushed Jess right off the bridge causing Liberty to stop and laugh. She hurried on to catch up with Luke.

"That made my week," Georgia told Todd.

"Mine too," Todd agreed with a grin.

It seemed as if Jess made eye contact with Georgia, who took with Todd following.
