~°Maturity°~
Today was the day....
The day Jimin had been waiting for since years.
Nervous..
No, that wasn't what Jimin was feeling right now.
Jimin was one of those personalities who did not sweat over matters.Even if it was a life and death situation. He was an honest person with a true soul.
He understood what maturity was. The boy had been through hell and back. He knew how children of this generation felt. When you pass through a childhood trauma you tend to mature early. Honestly, Jimin did not like the fact that he was mature. He wanted to have a child-like thinking, free of evil and curiosity about the unknown. He hated the feeling of being mature. Although it did make him look good, it seemed as if he could complicate even the smallest of problems.
The matter being said maturity also helped in handling the toughest of the problems, in carrying out responsibilities and to avoid taking rash decisions. But every coin has two sides. A simple exam can be handled with a mature thinking of punctuality and a regular practice and revision of notes. But what would happen after it gets over. Either you face the exams head on or you escape through guilty pleasure and procrastination. Procrastination is a child-like way of completing things but to a certain extent it does provide relief. Relief or hard work, in the end every student feels empty. Empty either with the outcome or with the process.
But to Jimin it was the process which mattered. He knew that even if he succeeded in getting his desired outcome he wouldn't be satisfied if his progress wasn't satisfactory.
He had learnt this from his past mistakes and knew that fretting over things would only ruin the peace of the moment.
Cause no scholar, no topper, no rich, no poor are remembered in the end.
If a person's actions succeed to capture the positivity and love in his memories then his or her name would always be inscribed in the person's conscience. A name that would ignite the motivation to move on.
"I am what I am when nobody is looking at me."
A principle that drove jimin to discipline and motive. But there were only two people in his life who could bring out his jolly side.
Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook
Tae who knew about him more than he did. Someone who he called as a real friend.
Seems funny doesn't it. On the surface Jimin had over 20 friends and a loving cousin. But it seemed as if he could not confide with them. Why would someone believe that someone like him who on the top had so many people with him was completely alone in this this world. It was because out of all only Tae was his real friend, his soulmate.
A person who wouldn't judge him no matter what happened. A person who believed in him more than the cruel strings of fate.
And on the other hand, Jeon Jungkook. His koo was that memory of his that ignited the spirit in him to move on, to progress, to beat the prejudices and stand your own ground. A name and a personality who could drive him insane. The power his innocent doe like eyes held the day he first met him and the day they parted was so strong that one would melt right then and there. He was the that shard of his life that kept him together. The hope to remain optimistic came from him.
He valued the two so much that he could sacrifice his all for them.
But life decided to play a cruel game against him. He was never given the chance to confess to his angel. He was never given the chance to fight for the truth cause he chose one over another.
For once he let the evil win and now he hadn't had the heart to face him ever again.
With his purple suit on his scarred flexible figure, he took a last glance at the mirror and pinned the crow pin to his pocket, right over the place his heart beated and patted it twice.
With a silver lining glistening his eyes he stepped out, walked towards the pavement and plucked a small rose.
He allowed the petals to grace his skin as he took its branch and twirled it in his ring-glazed fingers.
With a dark expression he pulled out his phone and called the 'said' guest for the first time in a long time.
When the call was picked up, Jimin waited for a moment and when no reply was heard he smirked and purred out, "Come over at the address I have texted to you, Jeon Jungkook."
And snapped the branch into pieces...
