I wake up and nothing is moving

I sit up and everything is dancing

There's a pounding in my brain

Quick loud beats

I'm going insane.

I look at the clock

Next on the dresser

It's so late

Way past the time

It's so late.

Uh!

What is that!

Why is everything screaming in my ear

The fish is yelling

Everything I can hear.

I won't get out on my time

So I kicked away from the bed

And then plopped on the floor

The way this was going

I couldn't take any more.

I didn't bother with the covers

I moved to the bathroom

Even in there things moved slow

Today was terrible

Nowhere I could go.

I grabbed my towel

And hung over the sink

Splashed soap on my face, nose and- eyes!

Oh geeze!

I got soap in my eyes!

Careful Careful

I throw on my clothes

Belt socks and shoes next

Go downstairs

Get ready for breakfast.

Half way down

I drop a shoe

My foot catches and tosses it

Down I go

Crack, Splat, call the medics.

In pain

I look up at my mom

Of all she would say

Embarrassment catches me by her look

"It's Saturday."
