Hawken's Grove
Once upon a time, long before rhyme
All animals, like birds were hunted with no words
Taken and eaten by a animal with spears and many tongues
Once upon a time, there was a grove
Hawken's Grove
Over looked by the eye, no creature presumed to die
Hidden in the trees, guarded by bees
Tis something lost but found.
Around the grove were thick trees scarred with the loss of their familiars
Ents they called them, pure hard wooden killers
They guarded the birds that slept soundly there
They stopped stung men that even dared
Their feathers were beautiful and their flesh was fine.
No wonder why they'd gone with time.
The grove is still there as well as the Ents
It as seen protected by fence.
The phoenixes are gone
Long lost their song
But one will always prove this wrong.
