Sorry for not updating sooner but I had a lot to do for school (german test, physics revision, ...). Anyway, here's my new chapter, hope you like it.

In the forest near Station Square

"What?" Sonic and Knuckles said at the same time. Rouge went closer to the wolf (Shadow) and Sonic asked "Rouge what are you doing?" Rouge didn't pay attention to Sonic and took the collar off of him and then turned around to the others. "The collar was controlling him." Rouge explained and showed the boys the collar while Shadow sat down beside her. "But why is he a wolf?" Knuckles asked still confused. "How should I know? But we have to turn him back to normal." Rouge said. "We should show that to Tails." Amy said. "Good idea Amy , then we can finally find out where Mephiles is hiding." Sonic replied and smiled at Amy. Suddenly the phone of Sonic was ringing.

"Hi Silver, what's up?" Sonic asked.
"Hi Sonic, Blaze and I just wanted to know if you guys already found something." Silver said.
"Yeah we found him, we'll meet at Tails' workshop." Sonic replied.
"You found Shadow? Is he okay?" Silver asked and sound a bit worried.
"Um ... More or less. Actually he's okay but ... um ..." Sonic said.
"But what?" Silver asked impatiently.
"Meet us at Tails' workshop then you'll know what I mean." Sonic replied.
"Okay see you there" Silver said and hung up.

"Was that Silver?" Rouge asked. "Yeah, he and Blaze will meet us at Tails' workshop so let's go." Sonic said but Amy stopped him. "Sonic you're bleeding." Amy said and looked worried at him. Sonic got scratched on his left upper arm as Shadow jumped at him. "Oh, that's nothing." Sonic replied. "As soon as we are at Tails' workshop I'll clean your wound." Amy said and Sonic nooded.

At the mean time at Tails' workshop

"I hope they are okay." Cream said and looked worried out of the window but saw nothing because it was dark. "Stop worrying. I'm sure they are okay." Tails said and hugged her. "Do you want a hot chocolate." Tails asked and Cream nodded. "That would be nice." she said and went with Tails into the kitchen.

Ten minutes later the two were sitting  in the living room and were drinking their hot chocolate. Suddendly door opened and Silver and Blaze went inside the house. "Where are the others?" Cream asked worried. "I'm sure they will be here any second." Blaze replied and sat down beside Cream. "Have the others found Shadow?" Tails asked. "Yeah. Sonic said we'll meet here." Silver replied and suddenly the door flew open and the rest of the gang went inside the house.

Amy was the first in the living room and Cream jumped in here arms. "I'm so glad you're okay." Cream said happily. "Nice to see you too but could you please release me from your hug? I have to take care of Sonic's wound." Amy replied. "Sonic got injured?" Cream and Tails asked at the same time. "Calm down guys, I'm fine. It's just a scratch." Sonic said. "I wouldn't tell that just a scratch. How did that happen?" Blaze said as she saw the still bleeding wound on Sonic's upper arm. Shadow who was behind the others heard what Blaze said and lowered his head in guilt because he was responsible for that. Rouge saw Shadow's reaction and petted his head. "That wasn't your fault, you were controlled by Mephiles." Rouge wirspered to Shadow.

"Shadow scrachted me as he attacked me." Sonic replied. "By the way where is Shadow?" Silver asked and the others went out of the way and Tails, Cream, Silver and Blaze saw a big wolf standing in the door. The wolf had black fur but his chest fur was white. the half of his legs were red and he also had three red strips on his head. (A/N When I have time I'll draw Shadow as a wolf because I'm really bad at describing his wolfform.) "He's a wolf?" Silver asked shocked. "Yeah, he was controlled by Mephiles and because of this he attacked Sonic, so it wasn't his fault." Rouge said and put her arms around Shadow's neck.

"Wait does that mean he's also the murderer of those people?" Knuckles suddenly said and Shaodow lowered his head in guilt again. "Yeah, but it was Mephiles' fault and not Shadow's." Rouge hissed at Knuckles. "Don't shout at me." Knuckles replied angrily. "Not again." Sonic, Amy, Cream, Tails, Silver and Blaze said at the same time. The two began to shout at each other again until Knuckles was about to hit Rouge. Shadow noticed that and jumped at Knuckles. He pinned Knuckles to the floor and growled at him. "If I were you I would think twice before I start a fight with Rouge when Shadow is around." Sonic said with a grin on his face. "Since Shadow has everything under control, I'll clean your wound in the mean time." Amy said and dragged Sonic into the bathroom where the first aid kit was.

"Shadow you can let him go now, I think he knows now who's the boss here." Rouge said with a grin on her face and Shadow let go of Knuckles but was still growling at him. Knuckles stood up and went to the door. "Since we rescued Shadow I can go and guide my Master Emerald again. Good bye." "Bye." the others said. Suddenly Amy rushed into the living room. "Silver could you help me for a few seconds?" Amy asked and sounded a bit angry. "Why, what happened?" Silver asked and Amy replied "Well ..."

Flashback

Amy wanted to clean Sonic's injury but as she put the wet cloth on his wound Sonic flinched and jumped on top of the closet which were in the bathroom. "Sonic come down here, I'm not done yet." Amy said. "But it stings." Sonic replied. "Sonic!!! Come down from there." Amy commanded. "No." Sonic said stubbornly. "As you wish." Amy said and went out of the bathroom. "Why does he have to be so stubborn?" Amy thought.

End of Flashback

"And that's why." Amy replied and Silver nodded. The two went into the bathroom and Silver put Sonic down form the closet. "NO, let me go!!!! ... Why did you do that?" Sonic asked angry. "Because she told me." Silver said while pointing to Amy. "Thanks Silver." Amy said and went back to clean Sonics wound but this time she made sure that Sonic can't ran away. After five minutes Amy was done. "And done you crybaby." Amy said. "I'm no crybaby." Sonic replied as Amy let go of his arm.
