At Tails' workshop

Rouge burst into the living room and everyone just looked surpriesed at her and she said "We have a mission." "What's wrong?" Amy asked. "Shadow has been on a mission and he hasn't come back until now." Rouge replied now worried. "And? Maybe the mission takes longer than planned." Knuckles said. "He's in the forest near Station Square and we can't call through him you idiot. Why else should I be so worried?" Rouge yelled at Knuckles. "How should I have known that? And don't call me idiot all the time." Knuckles yelled back and Rouge looked even angrier at Knuckles. "Hey guys calm down." Sonic interrupted but Knuckles and Rouge didn't pay attention to him and began to fight. "Silver, do something." Blaze said. "Okay." Silver replied and stopped the two from killing each other.

Knuckles and Rouge were still shouting at each other until "Stop shouting." Cream yelled all of a sudden and Knuckles and Rouge just looked surprised at Cream. "Thanks Cream." Tails said and Amy added "Didn't know that you can be that loud. You're almost as good as I am." "Whatever, what is our mission?" Sonic asked impatiently. "We have to find Shadow, he has to be somewhere in the forest." Rouge said still a bit angry because of Knuckles. "You have to be kidding me, it's almost dark outside. And did you forget that there's a killer somewhere in the forest?" Knuckles said also a bit angry and Rouge got even angrier. "Knuckles, are you to afraid to go outside when it's dark." Amy teased. "What? No." Knuckles replied and Sonic and Silver bagan to giggle. "Oh really, because it just looked like you're afraid." Blaze added. "I'm not afrait of anything. Lets get going." Knuckles said and Amy and Blaze highfived. "Tails you stay with Cream until we're back." Sonic said and Tails nodded.

Outside of the house a figure was sitting on a tree. "I have to tell this my master." Rapidus said and disapeared.

At a secret place

"That's perfect. His stupid friends will die tonight." Mephiles said after Rapidus told him what Sonic and the others will do. Mephiles, who was sitting on a chair, stood up and went to a big door with a window. "Let him free after sunset." Mephiles commanded and went away from the door. "I will." Rapidus replied and looked through the window and began to smile.

In the forest near Station Square

"Should we split up?" Sonic asked. "I think that would be easier." Rouge replied. "Okay and who goes with whom?" Blaze asked. "I want to go with Blaze." Silver said and Blaze smiled at him. "Okay then I'll go with Sonic." Amy said and Sonic nodded. "Wait a second! Do you really want Knuckles and I to be in one team?" Rouge asked. "Yes, why not?" Sonic replied. "Sonic!!! Have you already forgotten what happened ten minutes ago?" Silver asked and Blaze added "I'm sure that they'll start arguing or fighting again." "Hm ... Okay, fine." Sonic replied a bit sad because he couldn't go along with Amy. "Okay then I'll go with Sonic." Knuckles said and the others nodded.

They had been looking for fifteen minutes and had still no trace of Shadow. "Are you sure that we'll find him?" Amy asked. "Sure I'm sure. ... I hope he's okay." Rouge replied a bit worried. "I'm sure he's alive because Shadow isn't easy to defeat. Besides he's as strong as Sonic. Maybe Shadow's a bit stronger but ..." Amy said but was interrupted by Rouge's hand. "Shhh ... Did you hear that?" Rouge asked and Amy pushed Rouge's hand away. "No, what should I have heared?" Amy asked confused. "Something rustled in the bushes." Rouge replied and went in the direction where the sound was comming from. "Rouge wait, wht if that's the killer? I better call Sonic." Amy said as she tried to stop Rouge from walking. "But maybe it's Shadow." Rouge replied and Amy stoped walking and texted Sonic to come to her location. As she turned around she saw a big wolf standing in front of Rouge. The wolf looked at the two girls and began to growl.

Sonic got the text message and read it. "Looks like the girls found something. Lets go." Sonic said and took Knuckles hand and ran off.

Sonic and Knuckles were standing on a hill as they saw how Rouge and Amy started to walk slowly backwards and the wolf watched their every move. "I don't think that he'll attack ..." Rouge wanted to say but was pinned to the ground because the wolf jumped at her. Amy was shocked at what she saw and sterted crying because she thought that the wolf will eat Rouge.

Rouge thought that she'll die and looked the wolf in the eyes. "He has red eyes, like Shadow's ... wait ..." Rouge thought. The wolf were also looking into her eyes and he suddenly looked shocked. "Shadow?" Rouge asked and the wolf looked surprised at her. Suddenly someone shouted "Hey let her go." The wolf turned his head to his right side and Rouge noticed that the collar began to glow and his eyecolor changed. Sonic crashed into the side of the wolf and he fell to the ground. "Sonic wait ..." Rouge started but was interrupted by Amy who asked "Rouge are you okay?"

The wolf growled at Sonic and jumped at him. Sonic wasn't paying attention because he looked to the girls and a second later he was pinned to the ground. The wolf wanted to kill Sonic as someone punched him in his shoulder. The wolf landed on the ground again and dodged another punch from Knuckles.

"Amy, that's Shadow. We need to get this collar off of him." Rouge said to Amy. "What, that's Shadow?" Amy asked confused. "No time for questions, help me to stop them." Rouge replied and stood up.

Rouge ran in front of the wolf and his eye colore changed to red again. "Rouge what are you doing." Sonic asked and Amy said "Stop fighting, that's Shadow." "What?" Knuckles and Sonic said at the same time.

I'm not really satisfied with this chapter but never mind.

I hope I didn't made too many mistakes. Please vote and/or comment if you want. I also hope that I can upload the next chapter tomorrow because I have a lot of other stuff to do (homework).
