SPOILER WARNING: the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home is discussed, read at your own risk

     Brennan Rivers, one of Hollywood's newest shining stars, leads the cast for Theo Standen origin story The Incredible Red Dawn, which has now landed with its first episode on streaming service Disney+! Alongside his co-star Caleb Whittaker, who plays the charismatic Peter Parker/Spider-Man, the two team up side by side as the unlikely duo to take out the various threats that loom in New York's shadows. But whether or not it's set within the MCU timeline and adjunct to Spider-Man: No Way Home is up for debate.

     "You could say that it's set in an alternate universe of sorts, as if Theo and Peter had never met, had never fallen in love the first time around," Brennan interprets, "like a branch off the sacred timeline in Loki—it's just another version of their epic love story. But you could also say that it does take place right after No Way Home, because it also makes sense that way, too.

    "Peter's all broken up about the spell he had Doctor Strange cast on the entirety of New York, which has everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Not to go off on a tangent, but I was really hoping that wasn't going to be an option because as we've seen throughout the movies, Theo has a huge memory problem and he has trouble differentiating between what's real and what's been fabricated by the C.A.M.P. And Peter becomes such a huge part of his life outside his mission that it seems a little tragic that Peter is both his solace and total undoing. But that's just life, I guess. You can't always get what you want.

    "Then it leads into the beginning events of Incredible Red Dawn, starting with Peter moving into his apartment. You'll just have to watch the rest of the episode to see everything unfold."
