But she can take only one doll to the party, and the difficult decision of which doll to choose is all hers to make.

Any child, with or without a penchant for dolls, is pretty likely to be amazed by the book. The story shows the readers how love is a feeling that often beats self-centeredness. It not only portrays the beauty of selfless love but also teaches the readers to find extraordinary in seemingly ordinary things.
