Chapter 2

Now, reader, you're probably wondering why wolves on a blanket was such a big deal. Let me tell you...

Long ago, the Taligo Tribe and the wolf Packs lived in harmony. The two shared the forest. Until one day, the Taligo Tribe Mother was killed. The Tribe blamed the wolves. But secretly, a woman named Sibi High Guard killed her. Sibi became the next Mother. She passed horrible rules about wolves, to kill them on sight and destroy their dens. The wolf packs were confused. They were innocent. They did nothing to deserve this. So, they moved away from the Taligo Tribe.

That was just the way it was for a while. Until one day, Mother Sibi's own son, Finn Hunter, went into the woods. He met a wolf there. A beautiful she-wolf named Aura. They had what is called a connection. They could talk together. Finn hid this from his mother, though. He got married, and his children had the gift of connections. From that point on, all of the Taligo Tribe had connections with the wolves. Most hated it and blocked it out until it disappeared.

But some keep their connection. They remember how it used to be. Some are even born with a  rare blessing, the gift to communicate with all wolves. Those who have this are very powerful people. However, it is very rare... those who have it can be either very good and use it to help others prosper. But others... they use their powers for evil, manipulating the wolves to get what they want. It is a choice...

And that is the story of the Taligo's Tribe relationship with wolves. However, if you ask them about it... actually, just don't. Now, let's get back to our story, shall we?
