5,000 years ago, Underworld

"Hello my little princess. How was your visit?" Hades asks as his daughter walks past him, wearing a long black coat
"It was fine." Her voice was small, diminished, fearful
"Is that a present?" He asks looking at the unfamiliar piece of clothing, covering her frame almost as if it was hiding it.

"Yes." She replies
"Would you like me to take it for you to hang it up?" He asks stepping towards her and she jerks away from her
"No! No, it's fine." She tries to remain calm and he looks at her face, tear stained with fear in her eyes.

"What happened?" He asks
"Nothing." She shakes her head and turns away to leave but her coat begins to burn off her body
"Why would you do that?" She asks turning to him.

"Turn around." He demands and she slowly turns, her breath trying to steady. His hands barely graze her skin as he looks at the mark
"What happened?" He repeats and she turns to him with tears in her eyes.

"Nothing." She says and he looks at her before hugging her
"Oh my baby." He whispers into her hair, kissing it
"He said he would start a war and kill everyone I loved. I wanted to tell you. I am so sorry." She sobs, clutching on his clothes.

"You did nothing wrong. Just tell me everything." He says and she looks at him.

Zeus sat on his throne when Hades walked through the doors
"Oh brother, so wonderful for you to visit." He stands up and walks towards him and gets greeted with a punch
"Oh brother you wound me." He says.

"I am going to do more than that." Hades says and goes to punch him again
"What is going on here?" A voice asks and they turn to see Hera
"Ah, my loving wife. Get him off me." Zeus says.

"I will ask only once more. What is going on here?" She asks
"Your husband is treacherous pig. He tortured my daughter and I will not stand for it." Hades says gripping onto his neck
"Let him go." Hera speaks and he reluctantly does before Hera walks to her husband.

"Thank you." Zeus says before Hera punches him in the face
"You sick bastard!" She shouts
"You need to comfort your daughter before you start a war." Hera says to her brother in law
"Hera-"

"No. Your daughter is scared, confused and needs her father while Persephone is here. I will talk to Demeter to see if she can come to the Underworld to see her daughter." Hera cuts Hades off as he just stares at her then back at his brother.

"Touch her again and I will do more than just break your fucking jaw." He threatens and walks out of the room disappearing to the Underworld
"Hera-" Zeus tries to say
"Shut your mouth for once." She snaps and walks out the room.

Esther Mikaelson lost her youngest son, Henrik,to werewolves, a treacherous fate.

Esther Mikaelson kneeled on the ground looking out to the night sky
"Please, please save my son, my gods. I beg of you, please. I pray for one of you to answer my prayer and save my son for any cost." She prays before starting the quest to make her children immortal.

The Underworld

Hades sat drinking when he received a message, a prayer from Esther Mikaelson. He heard the pain in her voice, the sorrow. He then stepped onto a platform and was engulfed in the flames and went to see the goddess of love and beauty.

Hades opened his eyes to see mount Olympus and walked to where Aphrodite stayed and grimaces
"Okay, put your clothes on." He says
"What do you want?" Ares asks
"For you to get off her and put your clothes on." Hades says.

"What do you need, Hades?" The goddess asks putting her silk robes on
"I have something, a prayer to all our issues." Hades says
"You're going to leave so we can carry on?" Ares asks and Aphrodite slaps his shoulder.

"What?" She asks
"Well, not all our issues but I need your help. Here's a prayer from an Esther Mikaelson." Hades says giving her the note
"Her son? What's that gonna do?" Ares asks.

"Can you shut him up before I do?" Hades asks the goddess
"I spoke to the fates before I transferred here, she is going to turn her children immortal. If we save this child, train him, when I mean 'we' I mean warrior boy over there. We may have the answer of how to save my child." He says.

"I know where we can take him." Aphrodite says
"Thank you. Truly." Hades says
"Anything for her." She smiles.

Henrik opened his eyes and looked around to see an unknown place
"Thank goodness you're awake." A voice says and he turns to see a beautiful woman.

"Am I dead?" He asks
"Of course you are. You got mauled by werewolves." Another voice says and he turns to see a man in all black
"Hades, don't be mean." She whispers and then turn back to Henrik.

"Don't panic, we saved you." She says and the man clears his throat
"He saved you. I am here to take you to another place." She says
"Where's my family?" He asks.

"On mortal ground. You will be reunited with them, just not now." She says
"Who are you?" He asks
"I'm Aphrodite and this is Hades." She smiles
"Like the gods?"

"Exactly like the gods."

"Have you found a way to contact his mother?" Aphrodite asks
"No, she's dead." Hades replies
"Dead?"
"By her son, Niklaus. I must say I am impressed, he was lied to his entire life and now he has to suppress his true self. Then he choked her. Now that is spirit." He says.

"You are lucky I love your daughter." Aphrodite says
"Don't say that to her because she might actually think you want to have an affair with her." Hades warns.

"Really?" She asks
"Hey! That's my daughter." He says
"Hey! Didn't you marry your niece?" She asks in the same tone and Hades rolls his eye.

"Ares will still train him and in the next decade she will have soulmates." Aphrodite says
"Happy 5,000th birthday to Morgana." He murmurs
"Wow, just in time." Aphrodite says.

"Now, if we give him a potion from Hypnos, we can take him to the island." She says then a loud sound goes off where Henrik is and they walk back into see Ares standing over an unconscious Henrik
"What did you do?" Hades asks.

"I thought making him unconscious was part of the plan." He replies
"With a potion from Hypnos." Aphrodite says
"You should be more clear that is all I am saying." Ares says.

"Actually I might need that potion from Hypnos for Morgana, she sometimes can't sleep." Hades says and she hands it to him
"Now, I will see you in ten years." Hades says and they nod.

10 years later

Henrik was now 20, his hair was blonde instead of his natural brown since he would look similar to Aphrodite and so no one could recognise him who ever knew his siblings or him. He was gifted immortality by the King of the Underworld when he met him for the first time.

"So, tell me about Morgana." He says to Aphrodite as he fights Ares.

"Her hair is as bright as a flame and in the wind it dances like flames on a cold windy evening. She is kind, thoughtful. Beautiful." Aphrodite says looking at him with a knowing look.

"And she is the one I will spend the rest of my life with??" He asks
"Yes. Don't worry, you'll love her." She reassures
"And her father is the king of the underworld. No pressure." Ares says as he fights the young Mikaelson.

"You make nothing better." Aphrodite says
"Not what you said this morning." Ares says
"Can you not? I mean honestly." Henrik grimaces.

"He should know what he getting into." Ares says
"It's not like we are forcing him to marry her. He has many years to fall in love." She replies.

"Many years?" Henrik asks and Aphrodite looks at Ares
"Hades made you immortal since Morgana is a god and your siblings are vampires." She says, when Henrik was brought there he had a lot of questions about his siblings.

They agreed they'd wait until he was 13.

"Now we need to leave in a couple of minutes. Give me a show." She says and Ares looks at Henrik.

"Well, let's not leave the lady waiting."

"Hades!" Aphrodite voice calls out as Henrik looks around, then he sees Hades walking with a beautiful woman
"Happy birthday, Morgan." Aphrodite says wrapping her arms around her.

"Thank you." She smiles
"You look beautiful." She compliments, he had to admit Aphrodite was right, she was beautiful.

"Aphrodite, her gift." Hades says
"Oh yes. You are going to love it."
"Am I really being referred as 'it'? Henrik asks
"Sorry, sorry." She mutters walking back to him.

"Morgana, your father and I have given you the gift of a soulmate, this is Henrik. He died 10 years ago when he was 10 and his mother is a powerful witch who begged the gods for help." Aphrodite says.

"Not only is he your soulmate but his siblings are as well. Freya, Finn, Elijah, Niklaus, Kol and Rebekah." She explains further.

"They are the Original Vampires, like I said their mother is a powerful witch and made them vampires after he died." She says.

"Morgana, they are one of the only things protecting you from Zeus." Hades says and Henrik notices Morgana tenses up at the mention of her uncle
"What?" She asks
"Zeus can't do anything to you when they are still alive and they have burned the one thing that can kill them." He reassures.

"What about him? Is he immortal?" She asks looking at Henrik
"He has trained like a god, Ares helped me and we have made him part Demigod." Aphrodite says
"Thank you." Morgana says hugging them both.

"Thank you."

On Earth

Over the past week the Mikaelson children had flashes of a woman of the same description and then they all got a visit from Aphrodite in their sleep to explain who the woman was. Freya was the first to get the visit on the first night. Then Finn on the second, Elijah on the third, Niklaus on the fourth, Kol on the fifth and finally Rebekah on the sixth night.

The vampires gathered around each other
"She came to you too?" Rebekah asks her brothers, who nod
"Morgana." Elijah confirms
"So soulmates really exist." Rebekah smiles.

"How do we find her?" Kol asks
"We can't split up." Niklaus states
"But we must find her. When one does we tell each other." Elijah says and they all nod.

None of them were successful in finding her, then slowly the Mikaelson became 2 and the rest in coffins.

The story traveled far and wide in the supernatural world, the Legends of Souls, each one about a different Mikaelson all tied to Morgana. The Mikaelsons told different tales to try and find the woman with the hair as bright as fire, soul as bright as one.
