When the Mikaelson family became vampires when their youngest son Henrik died their mother Esther begged the Gods of Olympus to save her son. Hades was the one to answer her call in favour of saving his daughter Morgana, Goddess of Torture and Princess of the Underworld from his brother Zeus. Henrik was then brought to a safe place with Aphrodite to protect him and with Ares to help train him as if he were training a god. Henrik was gifted the gift of immortality by Hades which made him part demi god at the age of 20 and continued to train.

When Morgana turned 5,000 years old she was gifted a soulmate by her father and Aphrodite, Henrik Mikaelson. But that wasn't just Henrik who was her soulmate, all of the Mikaelson children. Then Morgana left the underworld with Henrik to explore the world and in the year 2010 they met a man named Alaric Saltzman and helped him with the supernatural world to then find the doppelgänger and stayed in a town called Mystic Falls.

The day Henrik and Morgana met each other in the underworld, the rest of the Mikaelson children had flashes of a woman of the same description and then they all got a visit from Aphrodite in their sleep to explain who the woman was. Freya was the first to get the visit on the first night. Then Finn on the second, Elijah on the third, Niklaus on the fourth, Kol on the fifth and finally Rebekah on the sixth night. None of them were successful in finding her, then slowly the Mikaelson became 2 and the rest in coffins.

"Ah, fuck, my head." Morgana whispers blinking and turning to see Elena laying on the couch with her wrists tied. Morgana looks down to see the same with hers then touches them and they immediately turn into dust. Morgana then turns to Elena and does the same to her restraints then touches Elena's hand and starts to burn her hand until she wakes up.

"Ow!" She winces and Morgana covers Elena's mouth and heals her hand
"How's the girls?"They hear a woman ask
"Both are still out." A man replies
"You didn't touch them, did you?"

"Give me some credit. So you called him?"
"No, I called one of his contacts you know how this works."
"Did you or did you not get the message to Elijah?" Elena tries to go snoop when Morgana grabs her arm and shakes her head then Elena rolls her eyes and gets out of her grip and goes upstairs even thought they could still hear the conversation pretty clearly.

"They say he got it." The woman responds
"Wonderful and what?" The man asks
"So that's it, Trevor. He either got or he didn't, we just have to wait."
"Look, it's not too late, we can leave them here. We don't have to go through with this." Trevor says.

"I'm sick of running."
"Well, running keeps us from dying."
"Elijah's old-school. If he accepts our deal, we're free." Then Morgana hears the floor boards creek and tries to find her.

Morgana finds Elena walking into a room following Rose as she puts stuff over the windows to block out the sun and walk over to stand next to Elena,
"Why are we here?" She asks
"You keep asking me these questions like I'm gonna answer them." Rose says.

"Why won't you?" Elena asks
"That's another one."
"You got us, okay? It's not like we can go anywhere the least you can do is tell us what you want with us."
"I personally want nothing, I'm just a delivery service." Rose says.

"Delivery for who? Elijah?" Elena asks and Rose laughs
"Two points to the eavesdropper."
"No because I think everyone can hear from as far as Olympus." Morgana says and then Elena goes back to asking questions.

"Who is he? Is he a vampire?" She asks
"He's one the vampires. The Originals." Rose replies 
"What do you mean the 'Originals'?
"Again with the questions, haven't the Salvatores been teaching you vampire history?"

"So you know Stefan and Damon?" Elena asks
"I know of them, a hundred years back, a friend of mine tried to set me up with Stefan, she said he was one of the good ones. More of a sucker for the bad boys, though, but I digress."

"Who are the Originals?" Elena asks sternly
"The Originals are the first set of vampires, all vampires link to at least one Original." Morgana explains
"How would you know?" Rose asks
"Because I'm not as young as you might think." She replies.

"Trevor and I have been running for 500 years. We're tired, we want it over. We're using you and your friend to negotiate ourselves out of an old mess."
"But why me and Morgana?" She asks
"Because you're a Petrova doppelgänger, you're the key to breaking the curse."
"Curse? The sun and the moon curse?" Elena asks.

"You do know your history."
"What do mean, I'm the key? The moonstone is what breaks the curse."
"No. The moonstone is what binds the curse, sacrifice is what breaks it."
"Sacrifice?"
"The blood of the doppelgänger, you're the doppelgänger which means, in order to break the curse, you're the one that has to die." Rose reveals.

"But why Morgana?"
"Your friend is a goddess, am I correct?"
"Yes." Elena says
"Then the legend is true. Her soul is bound to the Original vampires."
"That's what I forgot to tell you." Morgana remembers.

"Tell me more." When Trevor walks in the room,
"Did you get very far?" Morgana quietly sings along and Elena shoots her a playful glare
"Captivating's made her pushy, eh? What do you wanna know, dopplicious?" Trevor says
"Never and I mean never say that again. I will send you to the underworld if you do." Morgana says and he just winks at her.

"Who are you running from?"
"The Originals."
"Yeah. She said that. What does that mean?"
"I literally just explained it." Morgana says in disbelief.

"The first family. The old world, Rose and I pissed them off." Rose hums looking at him,
"Correction, I pissed them off, rose had my back and for over half a millennium, they've wanted us dead."
"What did you do?"
"He made the same mistake countless others did, he trusted Katerina Petrova." Rose says.

"Kathrine" Elena says
"The one and only. The first Petrova doppelgänger." And walks away
"Not technically true." Morgana mutters under her breath
"I helped her escape her fate and now I've, sorry, we've been marked ever since."
"Which is why we're not gonna make the same mistake again." And her and Trevor leave.

Morgana and Elena walk back to the place they woke up and sit down on the couch
"What's that?" Morgana asks pointing to a piece of scrunch up paper
"I don't know." Elena says and she picks it up and opens it and then passes it to Morgana.

Stefan and Damon are coming for you both.

"Hero hair to the rescue." Morgana says.

Rose is packing a bag when Trevor rushes in while Morgana and Elena sit on the couch
"He's here, this was a mistake."
"No I told you I would get us out of this, trust me." Rose reassures.

"No! He wants me dead, Rose." Trevor says freaking out
"He wants them more." Rose says
"I can't do this, you give them to him he'll have mercy on you but I need to get out of
here." Trevor says

Rose then walks up him grabbing his hands
"Hey, what are we?" She asks
"We're family...forever." He says and we hear a loud knock at the door.

"You're scared." Elena says
"No they are ecstatic. They can't wait to see the person who has been tracking them down for centuries." Morgana says to Elena sarcastically
"Stay with them and don't make a sound." Rose says and she leaves to get the door.

Elena starts to pace as Morgana stays on the couch
"Elena, what ever you do not move from now on, okay?" She says and Elena nods then they both hear footsteps and turn their heads to see a man in a suit, who they assume is Elijah. He speeds over to Elena but then quickly moves away noticing the circle of fire surrounding Elena.

Elijah then looks behind the doppelgänger to the woman he had long awaited for. His soulmate.

He walks towards her as the flames start to get smaller with each step he takes away from Elena to Morgana
"Hello." He says
"Hello, Elijah." She smiles
"I've been looking for you for centuries." He says.

"Hopefully not to kill me like you are them."
"Of course not, Elskan." He says
"Sorry about the fire." She says
"Not need to apologise, I just need to check if she's human."

"Trust me she is." Morgana says taking the wood away from the windows revealing the sunlight to and Rose and Trevor move away from the light as much as possible while Elena just stands there
"You can check, there's no daylight ring." She says and he kisses her hand
"Thank you, Elskan."

"We have a long journey ahead of us we should get going." He says looking at Elena,
"Please, please don't let him take us." Elena pleas to Rose and Morgana just stands there admiring Elijah.

Elijah then turns to her,
"One last piece of business then we're done." He says then walks to Trevor,
"I've waited so long for this day, Elijah, I'm truly sorry." He says as Elijah walks around him like a predator does to it's prey.

"Oh, no, your apology is not necessary." Elijah reassures
"Yes, yes it is, you trusted me with Katerina and I failed you." Trevor insists
"Well, yes, you are the guilty one and Rose aided you because she was loyal to you, that I honour. Where was your loyalty?" Elijah asks looking directly at him.

"I beg your forgiveness." Trevor says and Morgana senses what is going to happen and hugs Elena so she is facing the back wall,
"So granted." He says the slaps Trevor's head off and Rose sobs and Elena turns to see Trevor laying on the floor decapitated and Elijah turns the girls.

"Come." He commands
"No, what about the moonstone?" Elena says panicked and he looks at her with a questionable look on his face and so does Morgana.

"What do you know about the moonstone?" He questions
"I know that you need it and I know where it is." Elena says
"Yes?" Elijah says waiting for her to get to the point.

"I can help you get it." Elena says
"Tell me where it is." Elijah says
"It doesn't work that way." Elena says and Morgana looks at her as if she is insane.

"Are you negotiating with me" he asks and turn back to Rose,
"It's the first I've heard of it." She says with tears in her eyes and he turns back to Elena and tries to compel her when he sees the necklace.

"What is this vervain doing around your neck?" And he rips the necklace off he neck,
"Tell me where the moonstone is." He compels her
"In the tomb underneath the church ruins." Elena says compelled.

"What's it doing there?" He asks
"It's with Katherine." Elena says still compelled
"Interesting." He says and lets go of Elena and they all hear a clattering sound.

"What was that?" He asks Rose
"I don't know." She says
"Who else is in this house?" He demands.

"I don't know." And he grabs Elena and gently grabs Morgana and they go upstairs to the door and then something or more so someone speeds past them and he passes them to Rose,
"Rose?" He asks turning to her.

"I don't know who it is." And it speeds past again
"Up here." Says a familiar voice
"Down here." Another familiar voice speaks.

Then there's a wooden stake in his hand and Morgana is sped to a wall and she sees Damon and she turns her head to see Rose and he's signals for them to be quiet.

Then Elijah breaks a something and starts to speak,
"Excuse me. To whom it may concern, you're making a grave mistake if you think that you can beat me. You can't you hear that? I repeat, you cannot beat me. So I want the girls on the count of three or heads will roll...do we understand each other?"

"I'll come with you. Just please don't hurt my friends, they just wanted to help me out." Elena says from the stairs
"Thank you for your request but as much as you are important Morgana is my soulmate there for is more important so I need her as well." And then she gasps

"What game are you playing with me?" He asks and then he screams in pain and Damon leaves and Elijah groans and gasps for air.

Then Rose and Morgana leave the hiding spot and then see Elijah impaled in the door and Rose speeds away and Stefan and Elena hug and she mouths 'thank you' to Damon and Morgana looks at Elijah and slowly smiles remembering that he isn't actually dead.

"Where's my hug, firecracker?" Damon asks and she turns to him and hugs him
"Just because I decided to wait in the car doesn't mean I don't deserve a hug." A voice says and she turns to see Henrik.

"It does mean you don't get a hug, Jace." Damon says, Morgana and Henrik decided to give him an alias so no one would make the connections or if they found the Mikaelsons since Henrik looks significantly different than he did when he died so he wouldn't be so recognisable so they gave him the name Jace Lightwood because he looks like Jace Wayland in Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments books.

Morgana runs to him, jumping into his arms and he spins her around
"Hi." She says
"Hello." He says and they kiss.

"Okay before you have sex in front of us. Let's go home." Damon groans in disgust and walks out with Elena and Stefan and Henrik turns to Elijah
"I knew what was going happen and couldn't face him."
"It's alright, he'll be alive in a couple of hours. He seems great." She says.

"Your father is expecting us. He wants us down for a month since your mother is away with hers."
"Great." Morgana says fighting the urge to roll her eyes and she turns to Henrik
"What? Listen, I love my dad, am I a daddy's girl? 1000% but they have been together and had this arragment more years than I have been alive and he's used to her being away."

"Not without someone. I mean when you were away, I was there. I mean, come on it's for a month. Maybe by the time we come back, maybe Nik will be here." Henrik says and Morgana hugs into him
"Yeah, maybe." She sighs and they walk back to the car.

"I didn't actually mean you should fuck in there." Damon groans
"Shut up." Morgana hits the back of his head
"So, do you need me to drop you at Ric's?" He asks
"Yeah, but we are going to visit my loving father." She says.

"For how long?" Elena asks
"A month."
"Month?" She says in disbelief
"I have to visit my father at once a month for 6 because my mother isn't there. He just lonely I mean he has a three headed dog but I promise we'll be back soon enough." Morgana says as Elena lays her head on her shoulder for the rest of the drive back.

Morgana and Henrik walk into Ric's apartment as Ric sits on the couch
"Finally, there you are." He says engulfing her in a hug, while she was away from her father, Alaric would be there for her as much as she could
"Here I am." She says as Henrik walks into their room.

"I hate to say this but..."
"You're leaving to see you father. I understand." He says and Morgana smiles
"I know but with everything going on-"
"You don't need to worry about me, I'll be fine." He reassures and she nods with a sigh.

She gives him one final hug and walks into her room and she walks to Henrik
"Ready to go?" He asks
"Yep." She says and closes her eyes and fire appears around them and the fire engulfs them and they disappear to a world of lost souls and death.
