As we were driving up the driveway I realized something was wrong, and it was not because of the dreaded feeling I had. You see, our parents live in a freaking mansion, both our parents are rich, and being best friends they decided to build a house or more like a palace together. After the house was built they put up some hidden clues (only those who live in the house knows where they are) to warn whosoever coming up that there is trouble in the house. So when we were about halfway towards the house we saw the flashing red light. I took out my phone and called the police to notify them. We stopped the car, not going any further and took to the bushes or more like forest surrounding the property and took our time creeping towards the house. Then all of a sudden we heard gunshots followed by screaming, "Lord help everyone of our family members in that house" David and I cried. About halfway near the house we heard more screaming then total silence. A minute later we heard cars driving down the driveway, after they passed we ran to the house. The doors were wide open, we cautiously went in. "Ahhhhhhh" David screamed with horrified looks on our face at the scene before us. Our parents,siblings and Connor laying in a pool of their bloods, each with multiple gunshot wounds. As I looked at them, tears streaming down my face like a flowing river, I saw my mom's finger pointing towards the coffee table. I walked towards it trying to find something on it, but I only saw her purse. "Run!" shouted David. I grabbed the purse running through the house towards the basement where there is a security lock door, only my family and David's family could open it, as it has our DNA's programmed in it. I put my hand over the scanner and rushed out, then David put his hand on it after we got out to seal it shut. "We cant get out boss, we have to go back out to the front" screamed a man. We ran into the forest , deep into the forest. But since we grew up here we know these woods like the back of our hands.

After running for about six and a half hours we stopped, to rest a bit. 

"How did they know that we were in the house?" asked David

" I think it was because we left the car on the drive way instead of hiding it" I replied.

 I remembered that I had mom's purse so I started rummaging through it.

 " What's with the purse Rose?" asked David.

 I didn't answer, just kept on looking, until I found an envelope, I took it out and turned it over. Noticing that both our names were on it, I called David over and opened it. 

'My dearest babies, if both of you are reading this, that means we are not here, hopefully your reading this when you both are married and we have seen and spoiled our grand kids. If not then this is the reason, you see, we did an open heart operation last month. Remember the day when your father and I came home distraught?(Rose) yea our patient did'nt make it. A couple weeks later another relative came in for a surgery, this time your parents David performed it, that patient also did'nt make it. Later we found out they were members of a Russian Mafia family, better yet the Don himself and his nephew. We got death threats, but did'nt do anything about it because our patients were too far gone to have lived through the surgery. What we did wrong was not taking those threats seriously, your dad was apart of an Italian Mafia. He got out to study as a doctor, that's how we met. The Russian Mafia thought we deliberately killed their Don because your dad was apart of their rival's family. So they came for revenge. We want you to go to Italy, and the address enclosed in this letter is where you should go. They'll be expecting you guys as we notified them the moment we realized we were in danger. Your passports are in the side pocket of my purse, I got extra passports for all of us, because of our ties with the Mafia, we could never be too careful. Take the private jet, yes its ready for you guys. Everything is set for you guys. And remember, we love you guys so much, be safe'. 

"Well shit just got real" said David. " Come on let's go before they find us"

 I replied, getting up and brushing off myself. We walked some more until we reached the main road. Yes people, we hitched a ride to the airport. We got to the private jet, climbed on, and took off. " they weren't kidding when they said everything was set huh?" asked David. 

"They sure weren't" I replied making myself comfortable lying on him. Not long after we fell asleep.
