Schools The Equivalent Of Bullying
I was stargazing again. Uke tells me that it's starting to get very childish, but at this point, it doesn't matter his opinion. -- no offense Uke. But, alas, I stared at the constellations the stars formed in the moonlit sky. I saw the constellation Orion. Grabbing my diary, I scribbled it out with my pen, hoping that I don't mess up.
I usually don't.
I was lost in my drawing, that I hadn't realised that it was DAYTIME. I don't know how it happened, but surprisingly it was. I sighed, shutting my diary -- that had a newly thought entry. Getting up from my crisscross position, I stood up. I stretched my legs out and started walking towards the oak house. I opened our backyard porch door and shut it. As expected, our Russian terrier came barreling towards me. I started laughing when I stumbled to the floor, and she started licking me like a maniac.
"Аделаида! Слезай с него, плохая собака, плохая собака!" [ Adelaida! get off of him, bad dog, bad dog! ] I heard Bela yell, running down the stairs and into the living room where I was laying on the ground. "Oh... Adelaida." Belarus sighed and grabbed Adelaida by her collar and shoved her off of me. "Sorry, Россия [ Russia], I didn't expect her to run off."
Ah, Belarus apologizing. No offense, she does it too much.
But it's okay because she's super kind=hearted that way.
"Bela, it's alright," I laughed, brushing the dog fur off of me and standing up. "Не нужно извиняться, честно говоря, было довольно забавно и мило видеть, как Аделаина бежит ко мне, как только я вошел внутрь. " [No need to be sorry, honestly it was pretty funny and cute seeing Adelaina run towards me right as I stepped inside.] I smiled. I could hear Belarus sigh out of relief.
"Okay, good. Thank goodness. Кстати, сегодня ваша очередь готовить завтрак. Я должен разбудить Украину очень быстро.. Я вернусь через несколько!" [ By the way, today it's your turn to make breakfast. I have to wake up Ukraine very quickly. I'll be back in a few]! She ran up the stairs; noticeably, she almost tripped in the process, but I resisted the urge to laugh and comment on it.
I went to the kitchen, Adelaina following close behind. I looked at the clock that read 4:30. I yawned and grabbed pans to make some Kasha and eggs. I cooked for about thirty minutes. When I finished, I put them on glass plates and brought them to the table in one go. I mean, there's four people living in our house right now.
There used to be 16 of us [Me, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakstan, Dad -- USSR, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan]. Though, after Dad died, they all left to do their own things and left me, Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakstan to fend for ourselves.
We didn't mind.
"Завтрак готов!" [Breakfast is ready!] I yelled, loud enough so everyone could hear me. I heard them all coming down the stairs. "Good morning."
"Good morning!" Kazakhstan and Belarus said very enthusiastically. While Ukraine on the other hand...
"Morning." He frowned and sat down.
"Mood," I said.
After eating, I decided to ACTUALLY get ready for school. I grabbed my Adidas sweatshirt, and blue jeans, with my boots my dad bought me a few years ago.
My last gift.
I walked out the door, waiting for none of them. I was honestly lost in my thoughts, per usual. i was not excited, to say at the least. At school, I used to be the astounding, smartass basketball player in the school. I was popular. Well, that was until this guy named America transferred to the class.
At the start, he was an outsider. He was bullied 24/7 and never got a single question right in class. Though, somehow, he got 100 on every test. Everyone thinks he cheats, until he told them why. I never quite figured it out, but a rumor spread around the school and me and America switched positions.
I quit basketball. I was cursed. I missed every shot because of me overthinking situations. I could see America laughing in the student section. At Me.
With my so-called-friends.
I sat on the bench the rest of the game; I told my coach I was too tired and couldn't play anymore. He was skeptical but agreed. When I walked out of the locker room, America and his "group" came up to me. They pushed me around. America with his cocky ass grin.
I cried that night.
It was also the start of when I started giving myself punishments.
I still found solace in the stars. I had to. It was a custom for me, and it calmed me down. I love the stars.
Anyways, I walked into the gigantic school. I didn't glance up at anyone; I just stared at the floor. I navigated myself through the halls and to my locker. I always hated my locker. It was by the history room, and I don't even have that class. Only on Fridays. I did my combo to my locker, and it unlocked. Sighing, I grabbed the stuff I needed for English. I shut my locker and jumped, all my supplies crashing to the ground.
America was standing there, grinning. It was like the scene out of a movie, I swear. I mouthed the words "oh my gosh", while he laughed hysterically.
"Это не так уж и смешно..." [it isn't all too funny] I whispered, standing up. America stopped laughing.
"What was that? I couldn't understand a single word," he grinned.
He sure did.
I walked past him with my books, ignoring his attempts to get me back to him. I went to first period and sat down in my seat in the back. I sighed and got myself organized. I made sure I had everything, and I did.
After everyone was seated, Mrs. ASEAN walked in. I laid my head on my desk and prepared for a long two-hour lesson that was yet to come.
SOOO what do you guys think? I tried to make it long, but you know; it was kind of hard. It's okayy. I'm sorry I made Russia and America like this considering so many fanfics have their relationship go from enemies to lovers. I mean, I don't have to do that but yknow plot. I hope you guys don't mind, I'm a sucker for depressed Russia SOBBING. anyways hope you guys enjoyed! <3
