How To End An Argument
Killian's Pov
"Emma I'm sorry I didn't believe you."
I call after Emma as she walks into the house, me trailing behind.
"Emma," I shout as she walks up to the stairs.
I sigh.
She turns back around.
"So you doubt me, but Regina tells you and suddenly you actually want to do something about it? Because my word wasn't enough, but hers was."
"Em... it's not that."
"What is it then? You thought I was being emotional and it was clouding my judgement. You know more than anyone that I see reason before I see past my own nose."
"Emma..."
"Emma, what? Are you not worried about our child? Are you perfectly fine with them being in danger? Because I'm not."
"Of course I'm worried," I yell angrily, "Do you think I would have asked Henry to stay the week if I hadn't been? I promised you that I wouldn't be too overprotective. But I can't stand it. I must know that you and our child are safe at all times. That's why I tried to dissuade you of the dark magic idea. I am scared Emma. I am scared out of my bloody mind that something is coming to take all my happiness away. And I can't live with that."
I am breathing heavily, looking up at Emma waiting for a reaction. She keeps her eyes averted from me. I walk up the stairs to meet her. The space between us, killing me.
"Emma. I trust you more than anyone. But I wanted you to be wrong for once because I don't want anything to happen to you or our child," I say just below a whisper.
She lifts her eyes to look at me, turning to face me.
"I'm sorry," she says with tears in her eyes.
"What?" I ask, confused.
"I haven't even thought about how you must be holding up with all this," she quietly breathes, "Killian I am so selfish."
Her eyes drop to the floor.
"No you weren't. Never," I say closing the space between us, smashing my lips to hers.
I push her up against the wall, our kiss fiery with passion. She grabs my shirt, holding me to her. I brush my lips against her lips before I start kissing a path down her neck.
"You were never selfish,'' I say in between pleasuring her with my lips to her skin.
She gasps, as I suck on the spot where her ear meets her head.
I stop once I'm sure I have left a mark.
I cup her cheekbones, the tips of my fingers grazing her hair.
"I will never refuse to believe you again," I say before I quickly return to the passionate battle of our lips.
"Good," she says, only separating our lips for a second, "Because I have an idea to finish solving this argument."
"What do you have in mind?" I say, my voice husk and seductive.
She wraps her legs around my waist, our need for each other ever growing.
