chapter 61 (last part)

The next day, Caroline was jailed since she had been wrongfully arrested. The police let her in the car while Gwen reacted, stopping right in front of the cop car. Caroline spent the next several hours in jail because she was afraid of being in a jail cell.

Poe and Natalie traveled to Pleasantville because someone was having a block party for the day. He finally drove to the house while everyone else gathered outside with loudspeaker music until both of them got out of the car and enjoyed the party when it started.

Natalie: What a nice party going on.

Poe: My friend is doing this shit.

Natalie: Your friend can do everything in his power. Do you want some drink...*turns around and sees two people pushing on the ground fighting together* or not?

Poe: *reacted two people are fighting*

*Philadelphia, PA*

Lola arrived at the library. Every time she visited, she shared one of the books to read. Clarissa, the library owner, sometimes knew Lola after she came to the library. She helped Lola get the library card before she could take the book home for the next few days until she returned it.

Lola and Clarissa confronted each other while walking around; Lola searched for books to read her good mind.

Clarissa: You don't have to come to the library multiple times. If you had a library card, you could take any book.

Lola: If I can take it before, I'll return it.

Clarissa: Correct. In a few days or a week.

Lola: *hearing*

Clarissa: Whenever you feel comfortable reading it when you go out in public quietly or at home, as long as you can take.

Lola: I know what you're saying. I was hoping that I could read it at home. Honestly, my house is kept quiet. Where do I get the library card from?

Before the night started, Caroline left the police station after Joselyn and Liz bailed her out; they'd been waiting for Caroline to come over right in front of the regular car.

Caroline: Liz. *smiles and hugs her*

Liz: I heard about that shit. *doing the same*

Caroline: I would've never been here in the city again.

Liz: I told you, girl. Philly is nothing safe at all.

Joselyn: Believe me, I was born here; I had to find a way to get out of my edge.

Caroline: You should take it from here to do it now. I've never been in jail before.

Caroline's boyfriend: It's alright, we're gonna go home, OK.

Caroline: *nods softly and kisses him*

Caroline's boyfriend: *kisses her back*

As Franklin and Susanna landed outside the police station, Franklin reacted to Caroline kissing her ex-boyfriend because he didn't know Caroline had another boyfriend. He felt betrayed by her without telling her, so she didn't want to say to him the secret because she played him.

Malik was hanging out in Jenny's crib when he came to visit after she called to tell him what he had to find out about Zara.

Malik: What's going on with Zara?

Jenny: Her dad just called me on her phone; she got killed around the corner into her home.

Malik: *sighs* Are you serious?

Jenny: *hearing*

Malik: She can learn something better after I leave out of here.

Jenny: She learned it from you, too. You know that.

Malik: *looks away*

Jenny: *looks at him*

Malik: I feel bad for her right now.

Jenny: I'm sorry for your loss.

Malik: It's fine.

Liv walked across the block right in front of the restaurant and passed there until Selena came out of nowhere and stopped by.

Selena: *surprised her after getting out of the car*

Liv: Who the hell are you, lady? Oh, wait. I recognized you, to be honest.

Selena: That's right.

Blood & Ese crew was hanging outside waiting for Liv. They were taking so long that it felt like Liv was in trouble; they searched for her while talking regularly. Gwen followed them in the lead, walking around the corner as she hid after finding them.

Gwen: *hearing Liv and Selena a little arguing and going over to Selena while grabbing her and pulling out the gun, and pointing to her neck* You must have a fucking problem, aren't you?

Selena: You are officially stupid and a little whore.

Gwen: Well, I'm a whore, huh?

Selena: I really wish to get out of my chest; you aren't getting along together with this one enough yet. I prefer that someone find out who will take over in this town.

Liv: Cops on their way, you airhead. You know precisely what you did to everybody.

Selena: *evil laughs quietly* How cute are you? If you don't get off me, Gwen, I'll have the most profound secret. How's your stepfather feeling?

Gwen: *grunts and hitting her with the gun*

Selena: *falls on the ground*

Liv: *watching them*

Gwen: Get out of here. *looks at Liv*

Liv: *runs away*

The next day, Violett had a book promotion in Philadelphia today with her debut, which she wrote with her nonfiction book because she wanted to be a famous writer. After all, her game had changed.

Meanwhile, Kendrick and Natalie watched Violett's speech and interview about the book; they sat in a chair and listened to her words while reacting to Violett.

Later that night, Caroline cleaned up the room by the time she was finished, putting everything away before heading into the hallway until she heard knocking and opening the door.

Franklin: *points the gun at her*

Caroline: Franklin, what the hell? *moves back slowly*

Franklin: You should've told me you already had a boyfriend. Set me up, you rat motherfucker.

Caroline: Franklin, it wasn't like that. *still moving back behind and almost fell by the table*

Franklin: Fuck you, alright. You would've done that. I was trying to help you the right thing.

Caroline: Listen, my boyfriend is about to be here in a few; I don't want you to get hurt, or he'll kill your ass.

Franklin: *hearing*

Caroline: *looks at him* Please, don't shoot.

Franklin: If I'm not going to do it, you actually believed it yourself. Or if I shoot you, maybe...I just...

Caroline: Just what? Actually? It's not a very good thing; you are not going to do shit.

Franklin: Swear I do! *still pointing the gun at her* Stop sweating me.

Caroline: Because I was trying to protect you, it ain't good enough for me.

Franklin: That's what you get to. *leaving*

Caroline: *looks down*

*Philadelphia, PA - Malik's house*

Malik: *doing a little work with the drugs and giving more help for another place until he gets the message from a dear friend and picks up the phone before he reads it*

Unknown: *texts* Meet me in the cemetery.

Malik: *still reacted and left the house*

Malik drove to the cemetery for the next several minutes; he parked it until he got out of the car and walked around the graveyard searching for a dear friend. Nevertheless, Kelley, still standing outside of the cemetery, begins to walk to confront him while Malik stops walking for a minute.

Malik: *standing there around the cemetery*

Kelley: *walking before him a little further* you feel a gentle breeze each time.

Malik: *turns around and sees her*

Kelley: Nobody will see me when I was alive.

Malik: *still looking at her*

Kelley: I'll leave you alone. Forever. *tried to leave*

Malik: Hold on. How are you alive? I don't have a word to say.

Kelley: I survived the bullet; it couldn't have hit me in the vest.

Malik: *hearing*

Kelley: That's what I'm protected from being dead.

Malik: Let me know when you are returning from the same person. Good luck with that. *leaving*

Kelley: *texting friends without her family* In the end, you don't find yourself as much as you find someone who knows who you've been all along; I always make a good comeback.
