stating the obvious^

Vulpes_Darksider I gotta mention this first or else I'll forget but okay during I&A (inquiry and advocacy aka philosophy aka the most boring lesson on earth but it counts towards my grades so I gotta multitask) I wrote four whole pages of PTTM's chapter 2 and I didn't even plan for it to be that long. Well, guess you have a lot of reading to do. Mostly reading mundane details and dialogue, but hey, I tried my hand (ha) at humour and it seems to work (slightly) so :D

That aside, remember how I said a loooong time ago that I went to Sweden for 4 years for my dad's work and made friends there? Well, I never told you guys that I lost all contact with them, apart from an email address a friend gave me but I never used (eesh it's so old tho). This means I've never talked to them in the five to six years we've been apart.

But. I decided to do a bit of research for fun and typed up my guy-best-friend-from-Swedish-school's name in the instagram search bar and guess what? I found him. I really did. He matured a lot and there was only one picture of him, but I couldn't miss it - there were still some features left over from our childhood that he still preserved. I was so excited, I messaged him.

Then I proceeded to search for my other friends from his followers/following, and managed to find another five of them. I messaged them too.

They haven't replied since right now it's about 1pm over at Sweden and they probably haven't been released from school yet. I'll update you guys when they do.

But there was one part of it that I was pissed about. You know my dad went there for work, so that means he has colleagues who went with us and had their own kids, too. I was friends with their kids, and one of them follows the Swedish friends. I was pissed off, because how dare he not tell me and the other Singaporeans about our Swedish chinguz?

Anyway, I hope they reply soon. And hope they remember me.

Third thing: there's a Chemistry practical exam tomorrow (which we affectionally call SPA because- I'll explain later) and I'm kinda confident about scoring well because it's a titration and we've done it exactly five times for this very assessment. For our previous SPA practice I got a 21 out of 25, full marks for everything except the table formatting where we had to put our data in bECAUSE APPARENTLY MY HEADINGS WERE WRONG AAAAAAAA

okay so anyway our teachers keep calling it the "SPA assessment" and it irks me because SPA stands for Science Practical Assessment and by calling it "SPA assessment" you're basically saying "Science Practical Assessment Assessment" and that's Assessmentception.

Assessment doesn't seem like a real word anymore.
