Three whole years...

Three whole years have passed. Nothing but peace have graced the United allied forces of the five Kage ruled villages. The lands we're calm. No more wars. No more hardship. And advancements were already underway.

Naruto was 20 and Kakashi was 25 The two lovers have been through loads of loving days.

They were engaged!

But the two also had something in mind that just stuck in there but kinda was pushed aside due to work.

Parenthood.

Naruto and Kakashi we're currently in the office of the Homage tower. Naruto was doing more work from his school when he was little. And Kakashi was signing stacks of paper. Kakashi groaned and his head slammed against the desk.

"End my suffering." He whimpered.

Naruto stood and coughed gently before moving to Kakashi's side. He messaged his back and moved down. And kissed his neck with a smile.

"You will live darling." He hummed. "I'll help."

Naruto pulled a chair over and looked at the village.

The main look of the village rebuilt. The crater was now a thriving and expanding place. And an experiment with many scientists was under consideration. The discovery of railroads. Where metal carts know as Trains would travel. It was a country wide research project, shared amount the other main villages.

There was also higher built buildings and more modernized. Gaming consuls were the latest technology invention and seriously big hit with the kids. They were portable and easy to access. They did cost quite the amount of money however, but that was to be expected.

Naruto and Kakashi sat there for an hour, working before it was all completely done.

"I need to head home." Naruto smiled weakly.

"Right honey. Love you." Kakashi smiled.

Naruto got onto the desk and kissed Kakashi deeply. He chuckled and pulled away and walked out with another six more goodbyes.

Naruto hummed on his way home. The sun set gently in the horizon and shadows of half completed buildings over the wall of the crater were casted over the village. Naruto skipped home and walked inside the door.

"Mom! I'm home!" Naruto called.

"Better take those shoes off at the door, I vacuumed the carpet earlier! I don't want rocks and dusty foot marks in it." Kushina called back.

Minato was currently on an escort mission, so he was gone for a few days. He was due back in the next four.

Naruto walked into the kitchen, smelling chicken and dumplings. He pecked his mom on the cheek lightly. He was now taller then she was by a full inch and a half. He grew a bit and he looked slightly more like a man. Not completely. Just partly. He made his plate of the steaming goodness and he sat down and dug in after added the right about of salt and pepper.

"wow! This is the best you have cooked this yet!" Naruto complimented. "You should start a restaurant!" He recommended.

"Oh Naruto. Don't be so hilarious I could never. Besides I like my job better. Brings back happy memories." Kushina hummed with delight. She took a bight and perked up. "Oh my...you are right this is the best I've cooked this!"

Kushina was reinstated as a Jonin. She was a ninja again and it helped with her stress levels actually. It was healthy for her.

The village now has a therapy business for overly stressed and in need of help people. Both Kushina and Naruto go there. Sasuke even goes from time to time. But that's when he was home. Sasuke had become a traveler. He rarely dropped by. But when he did he would always surprise Sakura, who he was engaged with.

Naruto finished his dinner and headed for his room and took a long shower. Naruto went to his bed and saw a present. He opened it and blushed deeply with a very very happy grin.

"No way! MOM YOY HAVE TO SEE THIS!" Naruto ran downstairs.

On the present was a card and inside was a picture of a very pretty resort in the village hidden in the mist.

The card had one thing....

Naruto and Kakashi's wedding date.

I'm starting off with a short chapter because this is published the day i finished the huge final chapter of You Make My Pain Fade. And I thought it would be a neat starter to this lovely book. Don't worry...

Things will pick up faster then you think~
