personality | nicky isn't much of a talker, he's surprisingly quiet for someone who is so bold with the way he likes to look. it's much easier for him to get to know people if they're the ones who take initiative, and once you're a friend of his, there's very little in his mind that can change that. you've gained oak on your side for practically ever. he likes helping people and being parts of bigger things, taking literally any chance he has to make things at least a little better than they were before. While he's clearly not the best with his words, he's a serious math wiz, great with numbers and even better at using them to his advantage. in his free time he's basically his father's accountant for his shop. he's quite respectful, giving more to people than some would say they deserve. and would always prefer to be nice than anything else. so contrary to what one would believe, he can be a bit of a doormat.

background | oak was born and raised in brooklyn, and had hardly been anywhere outside new york city in his entire life. He was raised only by his dad , a relatively successful tattoo artist who is partially to blame for his general aesthetic. he doesn't know very much about his mother besides the tidbits his dad shared when questions came as a kid. mainly that she wasn't ready to be his mother. he doesn't think about her often, and besides the odd struggle that came around growing up with a single parent, his childhood was quite happy and peaceful

strengths | is incredibly trustworthy, and follows through with whatever decisions and promises he made prior, no matter what else comes up he's steadfast and reliable
he's very patient and understanding with other people, and usually when someone's difficult it's not his first instinct to give up, but instead to wait it out until they let him help

weaknesses | of course his kindness can easily be taken advantage of if someone plays their cards right, and he tends to also grow quite attached to those who spare their time.

extra | addiction runs in the family, his father has been clean for years recovering from substance abuse. at the moment, he only finds himself smoking cigarettes, but it's a fear of his to fall down that hole
