I walk out the tent, wanting some fresh air.. men.. such needy, slimy creatures.. thinking of but sex and how to get what they want.

But well I made 500 dollars in 5 minutes.. so.. well they are kinda suckers too.

I walk up on the grass, finding Zac there slowly swinging back and forth on in a kind of chair hanging from a tree.

"Hey Pilar.. settled into the tent ?" He flashes me a smile.. he does have a really nice smile.. kinda makes you want to smile too.

"Yeah.. thanks.. it's some really nice tents". I watch the way his long legs bend and stretch as the chair swings. "Have you seen any of my cousins around ?"

He chuckles softly. "Well.. Matt and Emilia are still in their tent.. Being suspiciously quiet.. and Nina went for a walk with Nick and the dogs".

"Oh.. of course she did". I might be rolling my eyes a bit. Nina is naive when it comes to men.. at least if you ask me.. I mean a handsome one smile at her and act a bit nice and she sucks it right up.

I mean Nick seems a nice guy.. I mean he likes dog and he wasn't being a douchebag.. but he is still a man.. and well as such he can't be trusted.. that's unfortunately just how it is.

"I have a feeling those two kinda like each other". Zac say with a small knowing smile. "I mean.. look at them".

I look down were he is pointing. They are walking down on the path.. Nick has his hands in his pockets, kicking at a rock.. even from here I can see Nina is looking admiring at him as he is explaining something. "Yup.. she is sucking it right up".

"He he yeah". He lean back. "I guess you can call it that".

"Look at her.. I can see the heart shaped eyes from here". Before you start hating me.. it's not that I don't want her happy.. I just don't want her hurt.. and not only is he a handsome guy.. the more handsome, the more offers.. you get it right ? Also he lives in another country.. what is even the idea ? And I know her.. she isn't looking for a quick fling like he might be.

He chuckles softly. "Well it can get lonely out here at times.. with mostly guys around.. but seems like Nick might be getting some.. affection soon..". He gives me a cheeky wink. "I'd love to get..".

"Oh You'd love to get some would you ?" I feel my stomach drop.. another guy turning out to be a sleeze bag.. why expect differently.. I mean he is a movie star, he is probably used to women spreading their legs for a smile. "Well dream on cause you are not getting anything here".

*Zac*
Oh wow.. I did not see that coming.. damn some guy did a bad number on her to have her attack like that. "Are you okay Pilar ? What just happened ?"

"Of course I am okay". She is huffing at me, her whole body tense like a bowstring. "I am just tired of men thinking all women are so desperate for attention they will.. give it up for free".

"It seems like you have had some bad experiences in the area.. and I hear you". I breathe in slowly. "But you misunderstood me.. what I was going to say Is that I would love to get some affection from someone special.. to find that special instant connection that it seems they have".

She looks at me, like she is trying to read if I am honest and I keep the eye contact, giving her a small smile. "Oh.. sorry I misunderstood you.. I.. ".

"It's okay Pilar.. I know you meant no offence". I can't help notice how lost and hurt she suddenly look. "So I take it men hasn't really given you reason to trust any of us".

She makes a small kind off amused huff. "You can say that.. no offence but.. men are in general sexually driven pigs just looking for the next hole to stick their pathetic dick in".

"Oh wow.. Well I respect you honesty". Luckily I am not really easily offended. "But I am sad that you believe all of us to be like that.. and sad someone hurt you that much".

"Why do you assume I am hurt ? Maybe I am just smart.. Maybe I just realised that men are pigs.. Maybe I just see through all of you". She is so guarded, but the pain in her eyes are obvious.

I know not to pressure her, so I just nod. "Point taken.. I shouldn't assume anything.. you are right.. and I can't argue that all men are good or have good intentions.. I can't even argue that I am in any way perfect.. I feel I respect everyone, men or women.. and I have never looked at women as.. a thing or in any way felt superior to them.. but only you can really judge how you feel I am threatening you.. if you feel I am being a pig how can I argue that I am not ?"

Her lip is quivering slightly. "Why are you being this nice about it ?"

"Why would I be anything but nice.. not to jump to conclusions, but you are clearly hurting here.. in some way and for some reason.. when people hurt they need kindness even more". Apparently she had expected me to answer back with anger.

"Still not normal.. I mean mostly men get angry.. and either call me a bitch or something like that or they make fun of me.. you didn't do either". She looks like she is not sure how to react to this.

I stand up. "Firstly I would never call any woman a bitch.. but I don't think you did anything to .. make a reaction like that seem logical.. and also I would never make fun of people's feelings.. your feelings deserves recognition".

"I am scared she will get hurt.. she is more sensitive you know". Her eyes now following Nina and Nick, who are walking back towards us.

"Well.. of course I can't give any guarantees.. no one really can.. but Nick is a good guy.. he really is". I am watching her, watching them.. I am not buying it.. I think she is actually the more sensitive. "And.. I think she is stronger than she looks".

She is chewing on her lip. "You might be right.. it's just that.. no nothing.. I might just be over protective due to my own experiences".

"There is nothing wrong in wanting to protect her from hurt". For some reason I really badly want to take her hand or touch her cheek, but I feel it might scare her, so I don't. "Just.. she needs to.. live her life too.. make her own choices".

"You make me sound like her mom". She actually giggles softly, it's a cute sound.

"Well you act a bit like her mother.. what about trying to be her friend instead". I give her a smile I hope she recognise as friendly.

*Nick*
"Hi". We walk back up to the back lawn, finding Zac and Pilar there alone.. making me wonder if something is going on with those two.

Zac is smiling a kind of crooked smile. "Well hi.. did you kids have a nice walk ?"

I kinda want to kick him, but Nina just sends him a sweet smile. "Very nice.. there is such beautiful nature around here".

"There really is isn't there.. that's why I just knew I had to own this place". Zac say with a happy smile.

"I think I will go take a shower". Nina say, giving me one of those small shyish smiles.

Pilar lights up. "What about we go do some work out first ?"

Nina make a cute face, like that emoji with its tongue out and scrunched up eyes. "Yikes.. okay I guess I could use it".

"Bullshit". I realise it slipped out. "Uhm sorry.. just meant you look.. good.. like you are".

"Thanks". She gives me a small smile, before Pilar grabs her arm, almost dragging her off, and she calls. "See you guys later".

I can't help watching as they walk away, no.. not like staring at her ass, even though it's a pretty cute one.. but I like the way she carries herself.. and the way her hand kinda flip her hair back behind her shoulder.

"Uhm want a napkin or something". Zac chuckles. "It's not really polite to stare you know".

"I am not staring.. I was.. lost in my own thoughts for a moment". I try pulling my eyes from her, but just then she stops, kinda throwing her head back, as she laughs at something Pilar said.

Zac pads me on the shoulder. "Oh you like her".

"Yeah of course.. she is sweet and funny and we had a really interesting talk while we walked". I mumble it, not wanting to risk her hearing even if she is to far away.

"Nah.. you like her". He is grinning at me. "I mean like her like her".

"Oh shut up Zac". I make a face at him. But well it kinda hits me that he is right.. I do like her. "Damn you are right".

He wink at me. "I know".
