Eating a cold dinner in bed with Muriel naked next to me is the cherry on top of the cake as far as amazing nights go.
If I thought seeing her in that fucking lingerie was sexy, her naked in bed completely comfortable with me in her damn glasses is even sexier.
Falling asleep reminded me of years ago when we'd stay up too late whispering and my only goal was to make her laugh until her eyes watered.
In the morning we awoke tangled together. She showered and began to get herself ready while I complained of hunger and lounged lazily in the bed knowing we were meeting with Denise for breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
She scolded me when I ordered room service but once the food arrived she helped herself ignoring with a smile my teasing when she picked at my food.
I sipped my tea while Muriel dressed in a pretty dress that fit snug to her narrow waist and fluttered out from her full hips. It was short but, because it's Muriel it was conservative. Of course, my gutter-mind only thought about one thing when she tied the little bow at the ruched neckline forcing my attention to her large chest even more because of the pretty daisy gathered fabric. Maggie and Gemma always teased her for how she dressed but I absolutely love it. She covers her curves and dresses her curvy body in pretty girly outfits, like this sundress or floral tops.
When she takes a seat on the edge of the bed and pulls on some socks, is when I groan and grumble and start getting dressed. Which, consisted of a plain black shirt, grey sweat pants, and my black cap with the New York symbol on the front - one that I caught Muriel trying to steal, so I've been intentionally wearing it because I know she likes it.
Her hair is pulled back into a long ponytail and her glasses are fixed to her face. She hitches a small cross-body purse to her shoulder while I stuff my shit into my pockets and we leave the hotel suite. Inside that room, I finally was permitted to touching any part of her and I didn't have to watch where my eyes inevitably fell. But outside of it, we are now only friends again. That is until she's ready to be public with me.
The hotel has a lovely restaurant with ferns hanging from the ceiling and Mediterranean plants in every corner. Muriel smiles at the decor the second we step inside, meanwhile, I give a wave to Denise who I spot already at a table with her morning tea.
Muriel takes a seat across from Denise, fixing her bag to the back of the chair, and I sit beside her removing my hat. A mug with water and a tea bag is placed promptly before me, so I begin adding the milk and sugar while the waiter asks Murry, "For you, Miss?"
"Um, coffee please."
The waiter dips his head then turns and hustles away.
"I take it you two had a good night?" Denise asks sipping from her teacup, her voice is neutral but I know her well enough that she's chuffed at this. However, I know Muriel even better and I'm sure she's already cringing.
"I'm sure it wasn't nearly as good as yours." I tease her to keep the attention off of Muriel. Denise scoffs and shakes her head at me, I'm sure taken aback by my comment.
"Ollie, don't be rude." Murry scolds me from under her breath and lifts the menu to act as if she's highly interested in picking something.
"It's fine, Muriel. Ollie and I have a close relationship, but I haven't had a chance to get to know you. All I know is what Ollie has told me, really." Denise asks.
"Oh, uh." Murry straightens and sets the menu down on the table, "What would you like to know?"
"Everything." She jokes again, but Murry doesn't catch it and instead tenses beside me.
"She's joking, Murry." I assure her.
"Oh," She smirks, "Sorry, to be honest, I'm quite nervous."
The waiter arrives dropping Murry's coffee off and taking our breakfast orders. Once he leaves, Murry grips onto the coffee mug tightly and Denise gives her a reassuring smile, "Why are you nervous?"
"I'm afraid you see me as a trouble maker-"
Denise lets out a laugh and gives me a glance. Murry and the concept of a 'trouble maker' is quite comical. She's as far from a rule breaker as I am a rule follower.
"Trust me, I know you're not. And I'm very aware what sort of influence he has on people." Denise gestures towards me with a fork she's picked up from her rolled fabric napkin.
"Oh." Murry settles beside me, nearly letting out a relieved breath, "That's good. I was worried. I'm not usually so chaotic. I'm just in a weird place right now."
"Because of your dad? Henry?" Denise asks. I've told her the bare bones of what is going on with Henry but I've left out the majority of the details.
"Well, kind of." Murry gives me a glance and I notice she scoots towards me in her chair. My hand moves from my mug to hold hers but I stop myself to be safe. I know this small restaurant is secluded inside this hotel and the employees know how to respect the guests of the hotel to keep their privacy but I still want to be careful. Especially, when Murry and I are finally in a good space. "I suppose that sort of kicked it all off."
"That's fair."
"Let's move on from Henry." I chime in and smile when the food is brought to the table.
"yes, let's." Murry smiles a pretty smile at me and I give her a wink and dig into my plate of food.
"What part of Scotland are you from?" Murry asks.
"Aberdeen, though I've been in London the majority of my adult life."
"I've always wanted to travel up there. Strange we've never been." Murry says glancing again at me while I stuff my mouth and shrug.
"Where did you want to travel there?"
"I'd love to go to the highlands and check out that area."
"Don't give her anymore ideas, Denise. This one takes off with zero notice." I say grinning at Muriel.
Murry smirks and her cheeks blush an adorable red color but Denise gives me an eye roll, "You should go! It is beautiful and a rather good place to hide out."
"I said don't encourage her!" I blurt out, and both Murry and Denise begin to chuckle.
Murry begins to relax as we all continue to talk and eat our breakfast and I also notice Denise become more comfortable with Murry when she realizes the first impressions she had of Murry wasn't at all correct. It pleases me when Murry divulges about how she dropped out of her schooling and what she plans on doing now with the red cross and how she had sent out an inquiry for another mission trip when she first arrived in London.
"How long do these tours usually last?" Denise asks her. Our empty plates have long been cleared from the table.
"It depends, it could be a month or stretch into a year. It really is up to you." Murry answers.
"And do you get to decide where you'd like to go? Or are you assigned?"
"Well, a little of both. Of course, you can reach out to another group and sort of choose where you'd like to go based on that. But, I've made friends with the group I've been going with so I typically just stick with their choices."
"Ollie, you've got to film the sequel in November. Murry, are you planning to be gone for those months?"
"We haven't discussed that." I remark. I haven't had a chance to think that far in advance with Muriel. Given she's only been here for a couple weeks and during that time it's been mad.
"How long are you filming for?" Murry turns and asks me.
"From November to the end of January."
"This is for Summer's End?" She asks.
"Yes, I'll be in L.A. during that time."
"Oh..." Murry looks at her hands in her lap and Denise clears her throat to clear the silence.
"We take time off for the holiday's." She adds in hopes to soften the blow Murry clearly feels.
"Right, no - that's exciting. Sorry I'm just in my head." Murry gives us a weak smile, however I know what she means by that. Murry's head is a dangerous place.
"We'll talk about it later, yeah?"
"No- yeah. Yes, this is fine. Novemeber is 5 months away, it's fine." She stammers and begins to fiddle with her empty coffee mug. I'm thick, but not a totally idiot. When I girl says something is 'fine' it most defo is not fine. Long distance isn't anything new for Murry and I. Our entire friendship has been based on long distance, so I'm slightly surprised this seems to effect her so much, but again. This is Murry, who knows what is going on in her head.
When we leave the restaurant we tell Denise we don't plan on going anywhere for the rest of the day, so I know Denise will be happy to spend the rest of her 'day off' shopping in Milan.
However, my only goal is to be sure Murry and I are 'okay' after she clearly was upset about the work I have coming in November.

I had debated on skipping this chapter, guys. but I thought a 'down' chapter and meeting with Denise, murry and Ollie was needed. Let me know what you think!
Otherwise, they are returning to London soon! so be prepared for some Smut chapters coming up LOL.
Also, why do we think Murry was so struck with the Filming in November? ;)
