Chapter Seven

Charlie tried to keep count of the doors as she held his hand, she felt him gently squeeze her hand. He was trying to distract her; he knew what she was doing, and he didn't want her to continue.

She followed by his side as they walked down the stairs.

He wasn't making it easy for her.

Which floor was this? She tried to look for signs that held numbers but couldn't see those. The doors didn't even had numbers on them.

He stopped in front of a closed door; Charlie stopped by his side.

He side eyed glanced her as he placed his hand on the door handle and pushed it down.

Charlie watched, she felt confused as the door was pushed open.

Not every door is locked.

He pulls her into the room, as he ran his other hand over the wall trying to find the light switch in the room. He flicked the switch, an orange glow poorly bounced around the large room.

Charlie turned her head to look at him.

This room wasn't like the ones she had seen, this one had been slightly modified. Possibly? The room was larger, it was the size of three rooms.

Charlie could make out the outdated beige low-nap nylon carpet.

She watched as shadows glowed on the carpet, she barely made out the human shapes.

He reached under the back of his jacket, pulling a gun from the holster attached to the back of his belt. He reached it out to Charlie,

Charlie gripped the gun in her hands before pointing it at him.

"We've already had this discussion, you won't." He sounded sure of himself.

Without hesitation, Charlie brought the gun to the side of her head.

"Go on than." Her father encouraged "Though you won't."

"Ten years, a lot has changed." She kept her breathing regular as she stared him down.

He smiled as he heard the click of the gun, watching as his daughter's facial expression changed to shock. "Did you expect me to give you a gun with bullets?"

Charlie dropped the gun in her hand to her side as she scowled.

"Now, if you're done. You have practice." He put his index finger and thumb to his lips before wolf whistling.

The human sized shadows stepped closer under the orange glow.

Four females and four males; two females held knives, two males held guns, two males had brass knuckles on, and two females had nothing in their hands.

Charlie suspected those two females had something hidden on their body.

"Enjoy" He spoke before stepping out of the room and closing the door.

The eight people circled around Charlie.

All she had was a blank gun. She carefully kept her gaze on them as they paced in a circle around her.

The nine of them were waiting for someone to make a move first.

Charlie dropped her gun to her feet, she watched as a woman with a knife bounced towards Charlie.

Charlie grabbed the woman's wrists; she tapped the wrist. The knife swiftly dropped into Charlie's free hand; she swiped the woman's cheek.

The woman wiped the blood from her cheek.

Charlie felt the tug of her ponytail as she felt a hit on her stomach. Charlie ignored the pain as she knocked her left foot into the stomach of the man who had punched her. She swung the knife into the arm of a woman pulling her hair.

Two females had taken a swing at Charlie, one man had taken a kick at Charlie.

She felt a kick on her back as she dropped to her feet, she felt brass knuckles hit her cheek.

Charlie spat the blood out from her mouth, she swiped the knife in her hand not caring who she hit or where she hit them.

Two males ignored the blood seeping from below their knees.

One woman dragged Charlie by her ponytail.

Charlie winced in pain; she held the knife's handle tightly in her hand as she lifted the blade over her head stabbing the woman in the top of her hand.

The woman stumbled backwards as she ripped the knife from the top of her hand.

Charlie ducked as a man swung his clenched brass knuckles, she clenched her right hand and swung as hard as she could into his manhood. She didn't pay attention as he fall back onto the ground.

She managed to get to her feet, she kept her attention on the people around her as they circled again.

She couldn't feel the bullet hit her shoulder or the blood seeping down her arm as a she spat blood in the face of the man who had just shot her.

He barely had time to push her blood from his face as she gripped his hand, bending it as far as it could go. She twisted his hand holding the gun; pointing the gun towards his stomach, she forced him to pull the trigger on himself.

Charlie dropped to her knees as she felt a kick to her back. She barely managed to turn to face the female kicker as Charlie fired the gun, a bullet landed into the woman's hip.

One man down. One woman down from the bullet to the hip.

Charlie shot the woman again, this time in the chest.

One man down. One woman down.

Only six more to go.

Charlie stayed down on the floor as she carefully watched, waiting to see who'd make the next move.

She hadn't noticed someone squeeze wire around her neck. Charlie breathed heavily through her nose, she tried to keep her focus as she bent her elbow than pulling the trigger of the gun into the woman choking Charlie with the wire.

The woman dropped to the floor.

Charlie grabbed the wire before jumping to her feet.

One man down. Two woman down.

Charlie didn't pay attention to any of the blood dropping from parts of her body as she spat the blood from her mouth again. She didn't care if it was her blood seeping from the open wounds, she didn't care if it was their blood. She didn't notice the small cut on the base of her neck.

Charlie went to fire the gun again, she dropped it to the floor when no bullets fired from the muzzle.

She was left with the wire.

One man with brass knuckles, one man with a gun, two woman with a knife.

Charlie whipped the wire in her hands at the man with the gun, the wire hit him across the chest causing him to lose balance, dropping his gun. She ducked as she noticed the man with brass knuckles swing towards her. Charlie felt a woman kick her in the face.

Charlie wrapped the wire around the woman's lower leg and giving a tug.

The woman stumbled to the ground as the skin of her lower leg took in the wire and blood gushed from the circular slice. The woman poorly threw the knife at Charlie.

Charlie managed to move in time, the knife barely made it to her feet. Charlie swiftly picked up the knife.

One man dead. Two woman dead. One man with a gash across his chest. One woman with what looked like poor amputation on the ground.

Just one man with brass knuckles and one woman with a knife.

Charlie smiled as she didn't have time to think of a plan.

She whipped the wire into the woman, the wire hit the woman across the face. Charlie threw the knife at the man, the knife landed directly into his eye.

One man dead. Two woman dead. One man with a gash across his chest. One woman with what look liked poor amputation on the ground. One woman with her face partly sliced, she held her face as she curled up on the floor. One man with a knife in his eye as he struggled to keep balance on his knees.

Charlie carefully looked around, she counted seven bodies on the floor. She tried to hide her panic as she noticed the man, she had punched in the manhood wasn't laying in pain on the floor.

She felt the tug of her ponytail being pulled downwards; she bent her head back slightly "Hello" she gave a smartass smile at him.

She watched as she raised his free hand, she watched as the brass knuckles glistened under the orange glow. She jammed her head into his stomach as she felt his brass knuckles hit her chest, she gripped both her hands on his wrist as he kept hold of her ponytail trying to drag her against the carpet.

Charlie spat blood from her mouth, not caring where it landed on him or maybe it was on the floor.

She kept her grip on his wrist trying to stop him from hitting her. She used her strength to twist his wrist in an unnatural way, listening to the bone crack. She felt the grip on her hair loosen. She kept focus on his wrist in her hands as she swung her body around to face him.

Charlie rammed his brass knuckles twisted wrist into his manhood as hard as she could. She repeatedly hit him in the manhood, watching as blood began to seep through his pants as he screamed out in pain.

She listened to the silence as she allowed herself to fall back onto now blood stained carpet.

She kept her eyes open as she took breaths, she slowly sat herself up.

Charlie counted the bodies around her. "One man shot. One woman shot twice. One woman shot. One man whipped. One woman amputation." She smiled the poor amputation job Charlie had done. "Man with wire. Man with knife eye. Knuckle dick. "

Charlie breathed in relief, she let her eyes scan the floor for a knife. She carefully crawled towards the man with the wire gash across his chest, she carefully reached out her arm as she tugged the knife from under his back.

Charlie gripped her hair tie as she blindly brought the bloody knife to her ponytail, she tore away at her ponytail.

"CHARLOTTE!"

She let go of her hair tie letting the hair tie and her hair fall to the ground as she spat blood at her father's shoes "Happy?" she lowered her hand with the knife by her side.

"Did I say you could cut your hair?"

She spat another mouthful of blood at her father's shoes.

He roughly pulled her up by her arm, she stumbled to her feet. He stared down Charlie.

"Kill me!" She spat, not caring that blood from her mouth landed on his face.

He pushed her out of the room, pushing her down the hallway.

Charlie tried to hide her pain as she was shoved along.
