00. ZERO : all good things must come to an end

There's a saying that tells the world that all good things must come to an end. It says that everything good in our lives must stop, end, and silence. That there's no possible way for a human being to ever be happy, or normal, or even in love. Only pain comes to those who bleed greatness.

That saying tells the world there's nothing to live for. There's not a sliver of hope left after life has picked you up and tossed you aside. All good things must come to an end.

To say happiness is not a fleeting idea would be to say that on earth there is no love or no light. But the saying is correct. Every story in time has its hero and its very own tragedy that has been written out among the stars. All the heroes that have ever fallen had once fallen in love only to find that it was their demise.

Cecilia Lane once believed she was never the hero; that she would never be the one to find her untimely demise in the eyes of another. She was no hero. In the real world, there was no such thing as heroes. Yet, somehow she found her demise, but not with another.

How unlucky Cecilia had become that there would be no one to save her. No one to care, no one to love or to hold. She was not the hero of her own story, but at the same time she had become the hero of someone else's. Her tragedy had been sealed to die by the hands of herself until she finally found it in the eyes of another.

The cruel fates above made all the good things in her life come to an end, but that was before she became the hero. That was before she realized her time of dying had become a time of living.

I have officially killed myself by making this book. I swear, I'm gonna die before I can ever write the first chapter. Also, sorry to those who liked Holland as the fc, it's just that I really like Candice Patton and I've been debating finding a new fc for awhile.
