The next morning, Skye wakes in a good mood. She walks into the kitchen to see Anthony making waffles.

"Good morning, Skye!" He grins as Skye hugs his legs.

"Hi, Anthony! What are you making?"

"Are waffles alright?" Anthony giggles when Skye gasps.

"Absolutely! I LOVE waffles!"

Ian groans as he walks into the kitchen. "I was trying to sleep," he grumbles.

Skye runs over to Ian and hugs him like he did Anthony. "Good morning, Ian!" She smiles.

Ian's mood picks up a little as the six year old embraces him. He ruffles her hair. "Mornin, kid," he says.

Skye lets go of Ian and sits at the table, waiting for Anthony's waffles.

"Hey, girlie. You're in my spot," Ian says. Skye giggles and sticks her tongue out at Ian. He narrows his eyes. "Oh, so you're going to start that, are you?" At this, he dives at Skye and begins tickling her sides.

"AHHH! NO! STOP!" She screams, laughing. Ian also begins laughing and he continues making her wriggle around before she finally falls out of Ian's chair.

"Aha!" Ian shouts. He takes back his chair and continues tickling Skye, who rolls away from him.

"Alright, you two. I just vacuumed the floor," Anthony teases, bringing in Skye and Ian's plate of waffles.

Ian keeps his chair and Skye gets up to sit beside him. He ruffles her hair and kisses the top of her head. The two don't even wait for Anthony before digging in.

"So, Skye," Anthony begins, sitting down. She barely looks up from her waffles. "Ian and I have to go back to work soon and-"

"Ugh! work!?" Skye interrupts. "You guys are just like every other adult!"

Ian laughs. "We actually have a pretty cool job. We'll show you later this week."

Anthony nods in agreement. "Yep. Anyway, what I was trying to say was that we want you to meet our friends, or co-workers."

Skye continues eating her waffles, but looks at Anthony intently. "Why?" She asks with a mouthful of waffles.

"We're all very close friends. We're like a family. Besides, they really wanted to meet you," Ian replies.

Skye nods. "Fine. But pinky promise me that they're not boring," she demands, speaking to both of them.

Ian laughs and Anthony rolls his eyes playfully. "Fine," they both agree.

Mari is the first to arrive, as she usually is. "Hi guys!" She greets at the door. Anthony smiles as he lets her in. "Where's Skye?"

As if right on cue, Skye walks in, shyly, hiding behind Ian. As soon as Mari sees her, she gasps.

"Hi Skye!" She says, gently. "Oh my god, you're so cute," she laughs. Skye turns her head away.

"Skye, why won't you come and meet Mari? She's very nice," Ian says. Slowly, Skye comes out from behind Ian to meet Mari.

"I'm Mari," she introduces, holding out her hand.

Skye reluctantly grabs Mari's hand and shakes it. "I'm Skye," she whispers.

Mari smiles. "Don't worry. We'll become good friends. We can do girl things without these two, because they don't understand girls." Skye laughs. "Whaddaya say, Skye? Sound cool?"

Skye smiles and nods. Mari grins and gives her a thumbs up. All of a sudden, there's a knock at the door.

"You can come in!" Ian shouts at the door and Keith walks in with Noah.

"Hey guys!" Keith says to everyone. Skye hides behind Ian again.

"Where's Skye? I'm dying to see her," Noah announces. He squeezes Keith's hand before setting off to find her.

Skye giggles quietly and tries her best to stay hidden behind Ian. "Ian?" She calls up to him. Ian looks down at her as best he can without turning around. "Are they gay?"

Keith suddenly notices Skye and walks over to see her. "Hey there, lil' buddy! My name's Keith," he greets her.

"Are you gay?" She blurts. Keith laughs.

"Yes I am," he answers.

"And are you dating that man looking for me?"

Keith nods.

At this time, Ian is sitting on the couch, holding Anthony's hand, who sits beside him. Noah is checking the bedroom, and Mari is checking the fridge.

"Do you love him very much?" Skye asks. Keith smiles.

"Almost as much as Anthony loves Ian."

Anthony rolls his eyes. Another person walks in, but this time, Skye doesn't hide. "Hello. I'm here," Courtney says. She walks in with Sohinki, Olivia, and Shayne.

Skye goes up to Anthony and whispers, "Why are there two Maris?"

Anthony laughs and says, "That's Olivia."

"Oh."

Olivia walks up to Skye and crosses her arms. "I don't look that much like Mari!" She says, already knowing what Skye had said.

Skye frowns. "I'm sorry."

Olivia laughs. "I'm just kidding, silly!" She says, a bit over-enthusiastically.

Skye decides that she doesn't like Olivia.

"There you are, Skye! I've been looking everywhere!" Noah says, out of breath. "I'm Noah," he says.

Skye smiles. "Hello! I like your boyfriend," she giggles.

Noah narrows his eyes. "Don't make Noah tickle you!" Ian shouts from the couch. "He's a shark!"

Skye gasps, smiling. "Don't you tickle me!" She shouts.

Noah smirks and dives at him. "No!" She screams, laughing.

A few minutes later, Skye meets Shayne. "Hello small child. I come in peace," he says, saluting her.

She laughs and instantly likes Shayne. She also notices that she likes Sohinki and Courtney, especially.

Joven and Lasercorn come next. "Who's the child who calls herself Skykarra?" Lasercorn asks everyone.

Skye giggles. "That's me!"

Joven runs up to Skye and tries to pick her up, but fails. "Good GOD you're so heavy!" He says, laughing.

Skye laughs and Lasercorn rolls his eyes. "No, Joven. You do it like this." Lasercorn lifts Skye up and lets her touch the ceiling before putting her back down again. The small child laughs again.

Anthony goes over to Skye and smiles. "Not so boring now, are we?" Skye giggles and shakes her head.

"Wes and Flitz are busy today. They'll be here for the video on Saturday, though."

Skye nods. "Okay." She hugs Anthony, who smiles.

I'll never get used to that, he thinks.

Skye lets go and goes to play with Shayne, Courtney, Lasercorn, and Joven.

Skye had fallen asleep at around eight, just before everyone had left. Anthony had made a vegan pizza, which Skye had enjoyed immensely.

She had enjoyed herself with everyone but Olivia. The poor girl was worn out, as were her adopted dads.

Ian and Anthony are thankful, however, that she can get so tired so quickly, because they know that shooting days will be easy for them.

Little Skye has a dream about Keith and Noah being married while Lasercorn and Joven give her a piggy back ride on her shopping day with Courtney and Mari.

Skye knew her life here was bound to be good. She smiled in her sleep, dreaming of the day Ian and Anthony would accept her forever.
