With a bloodied face and piercing eyes,
Your menacing figure stood out against the dark skies.
In your hand is a weapon of destruction,
But it isn't an enough distraction,
From that cold, compelling stare,
Which is giving me quite a scare.

I know I've got to get away from here,
But have you ever heard of the phrase 'frozen with fear'?
Just as bits of light came from the rising sun,
You mouthed to me the now bone chilling word: run.
