"He's been acting reaaaalllyyy weird lately."

It had been six years since the two had graduated from high school.

It had also been six years since the two had gotten together and confessed to each other.

And at the ripe age of 23 Taehyun's love for Beomgyu never drained one bit! There were times where the two would have disagreements or argue about some dumb things throughout their six years.

Sure some things back then were troublesome...Like the time when Taehyun's father caught him and Beomgyu cuddling with each other when he arrived back home from being overseas for so long. Let's just say...The first meeting went absolutely awkward since Taehyun's father knew Beomgyu was the one who caused Taehyun's heartbreak. But eventually, he grew to like him.

The reactions of people who never expected the two to date? It was hilarious. The moment Beomgyu's mother found out she was thrilled and shocked to the point her hair started falling out!

It took some time over the years for people to like Taehyun, I mean..Come on, he practically up and murdered the elder any chance he got. But now it was different, Taehyun just couldn't stand being away from the elder.

There was even a time when Beomgyu offered Taehyun to help look for his mother or biological father but the younger declined, he was ready to let go of his past and start a new life with Beomgyu. He was grateful for his biological father for caring for him but he wouldn't chase after someone who didn't want him anymore.

So here he was, his red hair now replaced with a light shade of silver as he laid on the giant king sized bed inside of his shared home with Beomgyu.

"You have nothing to worry about Tyun! I mean- Beomgyu hyung now works for the music industry so he might be busier!"

Taehyun just listened to Kai over the phone. The friendship between the two was still going strong as ever, there would be times where they'd get chances to hang out or just talk casually while watching a movie, in fact his other friendships were still great as ever!

And yep...Beomgyu managed to successfully get into the music industry. After receiving a letter just after college of a job offer at this new company called 'Magic Entertainment' because of how amazing the elder performed during the lantern festival, and he couldn't be happier Beomgyu achieved his dreams.

Taehyun was lucky enough to get into the same college as the elder once he graduated, they had long distanced for one year and it was a struggle from how hard it was to keep in contact, but of course...They found a way to manage through it.

"I know but this time is different, Kai. He's like...He's barely talking to me and he just seems so busy on his phone! I'm so upset." Taehyun sighed and got up from the bed walking over to his closet to choose our new clothes.

"Just give him time Tyun! Remember that one year you and Beomgyu refused to talk for like a week because of an argument? You both can do it! Just make sure to talk it out with him." Kai said, he was right though. If Taehyun continued to just pout and sass around then there would be no change at all!

"Alright I have to go now Taehyun, I have work to do. Let's meet up on Friday okay!"

"Okay." Taehyun sighed softly and heard the call end. He tossed his phone over to the bed and changed quickly. It was only three in the afternoon which meant Beomgyu was on lunch break right now.

Taehyun was grateful he didn't have work today, he currently worked at a cute little café that opened just a year ago. It wasn't flashy or amazing like Beomgyu's job but it made Taehyun happy- plus the pay was decently well!

A lot has changed over the past six years. Each day Taehyun could feel himself fall for the elder even harder (if that's somehow possible). The dreams the two had eventually stopped after a year, Beomgyu was quite bummed knowing that he won't ever have dreams like that again. But his reality with Taehyun was so so much better!

Taehyun heard the door open from downstairs, quickly rushing out he saw the elder walk in the house with a giant duffel bag. "Hyung!" The silver head smiled widely and practically slid down the stair railings to get to the elder faster.

Beomgyu, who now had blonde hair, looked at Taehyun as the widest smile placed on his face. "Darling." He said and quickly pulled the male into a hug who gladly hugged him back.

"How was work? Do you need lunch? I forgot to make it i'm sorry." Taehyun started asking, acting like a total housewife which Beomgyu didn't enjoy a lot. "Nope but can I eat you for lunch instead?" He smiled.

Still the same as ever. Taehyun pursed his lips and rolled his eyes letting go of Beomgyu. It's been six years, of course the two had done something with each other. But Taehyun was just shy, that's all.

"You're disgusting." He scoffed playfully and walked away, only for the blondette to trail behind with a pout. Even though Taehyun felt happy with Beomgyu's presence he couldn't help but feel slightly disturbed by how much Beomgyu would distance himself at night. "Anyways, I'm off work for the day Tyun! So no worries about me being late!"

"Then you can go sit down, I'll make you lunch." Taehyun said and walked over to the kitchen to start cooking. He suddenly froze when he felt two arms wrap around his waist and the feeling of cold hands slowly trailing under his shirt.

"You don't need to do anything in the kitchen." Beomgyu whispered deeply in his ear making Taehyun's face flush absolutely dark red. The silver head sighed and looked back giving Beomgyu a peck on the lips. "You're so...I could punch you right now." He mumbled giving in.

Beomgyu smiled widely before picking up the younger walking over to the couch with a wayyyy too happy smile.

"Taehyun."

The silver head glanced up at the elder. They were currently cuddled up on their bed watching a disney movie on their TV, and Taehyun was absolutely exhausted.

He was changed into new clothes and his hair was damp after taking a shower and he was fully drained for the day. "Hm.." Taehyun hummed out too tired to use words.

"You know...I'm free all day tomorrow. Do you want to go somewhere with me?" Beomgyu asked. Taehyun hummed in agreement which made Beomgyu so happy! Smiling widely he pressed a soft kiss on the youngers head.

"Sleep well okay?" He said. Silence was the only reply which meant that Taehyun had already knocked out. Shifting slightly he grabbed the remote and turned the TV.

Waiting for a few more minutes to make sure the younger was fully asleep, Beomgyu quickly grabbed his phone and opened up his messages.

I'm going to do it tomorrow 😃

OHH SHIT ALREADY?! OKAY OKAY I GOT YOU GYU!!

Beomgyu smiled at the elder who seemed to not change one bit after these years. Turning his phone off and tossing it to the side, he leaned back onto the pillows and pulled Taehyun closer to him.

After weeks of preparation and careful decisions, Beomgyu had finally finished up what he wanted to do, so all he had to do was bring Taehyun to the place tomorrow and hope everything goes well.

"Where are we going?"

The two were currently in Beomgyu's car driving off to wherever the elder wanted to bring him. The moment he woke up Beomgyu was already up and ready to leave the place it made Taehyun almost panic thinking they were late for something.

The elder seemed to be overly excited for what he was showing Taehyun today, all the questions the silver head would ask would just be swept to the side or quickly diverted with a change of topic.

"Hyung, you're acting so weird...Are you finally going insane from work?" Taehyun asked wanting to find out the reason behind Beomgyu's long term strange behavior.

"You'll see Taehyun! We're almost at the place don't worry. Just give it a few more minutes."

Taehyun just sighed and trusted Beomgyu. He was already in the car so there was no point on arguing, plus it gave him a good chance to have a normal conversation with him since these days he's been even more busier.

After thirty minutes of traveling, the two had finally reached their destination and Taehyun had never been so happy to finally know where the elder took him. Getting out of the car he looked around immediately feeling a sense of familiarity from the scenery.

They were in the downtown park where the lantern festival was held.

Taehyun's stomach started feeling fuzzy. Looking over at the elder who smiled, he watched him stretch his hand out. "Let's walk around for a bit." He said. The younger nodded and happily accepted his hand as they walked around the park.

Not much has changed except for a few things like how the stage where Beomgyu performed at was still up and standing proudly for new groups to perform on, there was more greenery and trees around, and just near the river was a dock that led to a beautiful gazebo covered with flowers.

Taehyun was so entranced that he didn't even notice they were walking into the gazebo. "Hyung why are we here out of all places?" He suddenly asked once they stopped in the middle, staring in awe at the sparkling reflection of the water from the view.

"Taehyun do you remember the wishes we made?"

The silver head looked at Beomgyu in confusion. The sudden question caught him off guard because it's been so long since the two had done that together. Taking a short minute to think a quiet hum left his lips before nodding. "I somewhat remember them."

"Shall we finally tell each other what we wished for?"

Taehyun tilted his head thinking for a moment, this was slightly strange. The sudden mention of the past made him quite confused but who was he to argue? His boyfriend was so strange in a good way. Plus, it was about time he finally said what he wished for.

"Well...I wished...I wished to be successful. Back then I was so...I felt that my future wouldn't be good because I didn't know what to be just yet and that I wasn't good enough. But here I am now, living an amazing successful life with the person I love the most and the one who convinced me otherwise."

Beomgyu couldn't hide back his smile and blush. Hearing those words really ignited the flame in his heart more and more. "How about you hyung?" Beomgyu took a second to think. It was only now or never that this opportunity would come.

"Well," He started off before fully facing the younger.

"What I wished for...Was to finally make you mine." He proudly admitted making Taehyun's face light up red. "But there's of course more...I wanted to make sure that when you're mine. That you would be the happiest person on earth, that you would keep a smile on your face no matter what would happen. I'm so happy I could achieve half my goal."

Taehyun's heart fluttered so much hearing those words come from Beomgyu. He knew the elder wanted to have a bright future with him, yet the mention of him only achieving half his goal made him curious. "What do you mean half your goal, hyung?"

Beomgyu only smiled and pulled the younger closer. "Taehyun what I'm saying is that...The other half of my goal is that I want you to be happy with me as well, I want to spend my future with you. That's why..." He suddenly said pulling something out of his pocket and kneeling down.

Taehyun's eyes widened realizing what the elder is doing. It was like time stopped as his breathing became heavy seeing Beomgyu get down on one knee.

"Kang Taehyun, I have been so so in love with you ever since I realized my feelings. I know we had some ups and downs and that there are things that can't be easily healed but just trust me when I say- I want to be in your future, I want to be with you for eternity. I adore you so much that I cannot even think about my life without you. Gosh...I'm going insane just even doing this. I wanted this to be perfect because you deserve everything. Not one day goes by where my love for you fades, I want to be part of your reason why you're happy. I made a promise to never leave you, s-so..."

"Hyung..." Taehyun croaked out feeling tears already fall from his eyes. The most warmest gaze was in Beomgyu's eyes, he never thought a day would come as his heart was exploding right now.

"Kang Taehyun...Please, will you marry me? Will you let me be part of the reason you're happy? Will you let me stay with you for eternity?" The elder asked finally pulling out a small tiny box from his pocket, opening it revealing a beautiful rose gold diamond ring inside.

"Fuck Hyung-" Taehyun mumbled feeling his chest hurt from how heartwarming what the elder said was. Wiping his tears he just stared at Beomgyu with the widest smile before nodding quickly.

"Yes- Fucking yes! I'll marry you hyung. Of course I will." Taehyun accepted making the elders eyes light up, with shaky hands he slowly slid the ring onto Taehyun's ring finger finally sealing it.

Beomgyu quickly stood up and pulled Taehyun into a long pure kiss, just full of love and happiness. The elder had tears twinkling in his eyes holding onto the younger tightly. He was so so happy, weeks of preparation finally paid off as he held Taehyun's hand.

"WOOOOO TAEHYUN!!"

The two teary eyed lovers looked up and saw a crowd of people at the end of the docks, cheering loudly. It was their friends and family happily congratulating the two after witnessing everything.

"Shall we?" Beomgyu sniffled out staring at Taehyun with the purest adoration in his eyes. The silver head looked up at the male and nodded excitedly, the adrenaline of just knowing he would be married to Beomgyu rose up in him more and more.

And within just a couple months the two walked down the aisle hand in hand as cheers and screams echoed around them. With two beautiful rings sealing their fate together, they couldn't help but smile widely seeing those who helped support them throughout the years.

Beomgyu just felt so grateful that after years and years he made Taehyun his.

He was just so happy that some dreams, can become reality.
